No Orville this week, but Discovery was good. Season two is significantly better than season one. This is what it should have been all along. It also looks like we get an explanation as to why holographic communications isn't used in the future as well as for the discontinuation of the spore dri...

Yeah, tonight's Discovery episode is clearly setting up the Michelle Yeoh Section 31 series. Looks promising enough. That was a cute Orville. That ending scene was beyond corny, but it was weirdly sweet. And hey, a Norm appearance! That was a happy bonus. Yeah, it was a bit of a sappy episode, ...

Issue 1154: Foreign Tax Credits Leave Film Industry Reeling The Issue: More and more Valentian film studios are turning to Brancaland due to the generous tax credits of the picturesque coastal city Maxhoover. Industry representatives and local patriots alike have prompted calls for action. [Option ...

Orville was good, as always. New Alara is okay, but she'll take time to grow on me. She has big shoes to fill. Anyone watching season 2 of STD? Yarp. Last episode was some pretty old school Trek stuff, which is good. Seeing some signs that we might actually get to know the rest of the bridge cre...

Got caught up with Orville. Been a good second season so far. Wow. That was a ballsy writing choice for The Orville. Alara is gone. I mean, I didn't think they had the stones to go for that option. Agreed, the show won't be the same without her. This was still a great episode with some great...

Anyone from Chrono Trigger (Lucca, Robo, or Ayla would be preferable to another sword fighter) would be quite welcome. Though you gotta admit, Crono's Luminaire would make for a bitchin' awesome Final Smash. Oh, and Lavos assist trophy! Oh, that would be an awesome Final Smash, but I think a gunner...

Out of the newcomers, King K Rool has quickly become one of my new mains along with the redesign of Zelda. Though my mains will always be Lucina, Paluetna, and Duck Hunt. Took me about two weeks to unlock everyone, and I'm still not done with World of Light yet. Slowly getting through it. As for pot...

I've been busy recently, but I finally got caught up with Legends and I absolutely loved the mid-season finale. Only Legends could pull off an episode like that and still make it work. It's incredibly rare for a TV show to make me laugh that much. Once again it reminds me why it's the best show in t...

Legends is clearly the best show in the Arrowverse. There hasn't been a bad episode this season and they're clearly having fun with it.

Doctor Who has always been political so I don't know why it's suddenly such an issue now. Seems like an odd complaint to make for longtime fans.

I thought it was a serviceable episode with a refreshing new alien species with an unique motivation.

I liked it in that weird and wonderful way.

You just know they are going to market the hell out of that little alien. It's this season's Adipose.

Legends consistently proves why it's the best show in the Arrowverse. It always strikes the right balance between being funny and not taking itself seriously to getting dark and taking itself seriously when it needs to. Can you think of any other show that could pull off the Fairy Godmother being th...

An episode with giant spiders and corrupt politicians. Only Doctor Who could manage to pull that off and make it entertaining.

Although I was surprised that the politician didn't get any sort of punishment or karma. He got away with everything, just like in real life.

Once again Legends proves why it's the best show in the Arrowverse. It knows how to have fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. Only Legends can have an episode about a killer unicorn at Woodstock and still make it work. I loved all the forth wall breaking at the start of the episode. I'm gl...

The villain was one-dimensional, but aside from that I thought it was a decent enough historical episode that served it's purpose. Not the best, not the worst.

More good news. The ratings for the season opener have been adjusted to 10.9 million (though I'm not sure if that's counting overseas numbers), which makes it the "highest Doctor Who series opener since the show was relaunched in 2005" according to the BBC. https://www.bbc.com/news/enterta...

I also liked the episode and the new TARDIS design. Gives off very old-school vibes. Honestly my biggest complaint so far is that Yas needs more screen time. They probably should have stuck with one or two companions instead of three. Sounds like the Stenza and the Timeless Child are going to be thi...

Man, it's going to be convoluted to watch the crossovers this year. Supergirl is on one channel. Arrow and Legends are on another, and Flash is on Netflix airing two days after the American release. Flash is off to a decent enough start, but hopefully it doesn't go too much into "family drama&q...

Had a friend who told me she watched Doctor Who until Capaldi because she couldn't get into him. I selected five episodes total from series 8 and 9 to have her watch - completely glossing the rest of those series over - before telling her to watch series 10 because it's his best season and then emb...

Capaldi had some really good episodes, but had a couple stinkers as well. A big problem was Clara overstaying her welcome. Hell Bent/Heaven Sent were some of the best.

At least Thirteen's companions don't seem to be as annoying as Clara was so far, although Yas could use some more screen time.

Well, it looks like us Canadians are screwed for The Flash. The network that aired it here lost the rights to it (though still has Arrow and Legends). The past seasons are on Netflix so I've asked them if they'll have the new episodes.

I'm just glad Moffat is gone, and like Clara, he overstayed his welcome.

So far I have high hopes for the new showrunner. If this first episode is any indicator, we'll be getting a really good season.

All I can say, is damn, that was a good way to start things off.

That was probably one of the best introductions to a new Doctor the series has done in a long time.

They just confirmed it on their Twitter account today for October 7. Not too much longer to wait.
