I'm almost sad that NS wasn't doomed, because at least then perhaps there'd be no regions to house you and your reprehensible actions. The fact that, after your subversion of TSP, your single-handed annihilation of positive vibes defenders had in GCRs, your vitriol aimed at anything that wasn't the...

Thanks for the incredibly comprehensive and informative post, Reppy. At least something good came out of me being incredibly wrong. :P I will ask the people who told me he wasn't delete-on-sight anymore if they knew which puppet was allegedly his, just in case it's a ban evasion, but I think it was ...

[Discussion] Overturning Delete-on-Sight Designations

It's my understanding that the player previously known as Milograd has had his delete-on-sight designation overturned, and is once again playing NationStates under a new puppet. I'm not sure which puppet, but that isn't really relevant to this discussion. As far as I know, this is the first time a d...

Further noting that the decision to coup Lazarus was made under a state of impaired judgement, leading many to believe that the following actions were never meant to be serious; This doesn't seem accurate, and it seems to both excuse Stujenske to a degree -- as in, he was acting rashly, these thing...

It it possible to appeal a ruling that something isn't actionable? Because, frankly, if I say "X is a [expletive], Y is a [expletive], and Z is a [expletive]" but then say "I'm a [expletive] too. We're all [expletives]", that is still flaming, it's just putting a really thin veil...

There's two stories here. The first is that I'm an evil entryist whose presence would mark the end of TSP's military neutrality if Belschaft and co.'s valiant efforts to break as many laws as possible weren't successful in removing me, the Caped Crusader and my tight-clad sidekick (sorry Glen, you'...

No wonder the other side wants the law to be followed - it's the only thing standing between them and getting thrown out on their asses into the cold. And you are the only one who thinks this would have a positive outcome, because you want to wrest control of the South Pacific to pursue your foreig...

I'm not going to do a point by point response to Unibot's comments, because I agree with many of them and would just be finding a wordy way to say "I agree." So for anything I don't respond to, assume I agree, rather than that I'm ignoring it. I've actually already included some of these s...

Cormac, ROs in GCRs are dependent upon the good graces of the Delegate, so your primary point fails. I think you're missing my point altogether, actually, but that isn't all that surprising. You have a very narrow view of NationStates that doesn't make room for people or regions who view the game i...

Citizens who had an instrumental part in attempting to overthrow the Coalition of the South Pacific. This is already moot considering the Assembly has voted on granting amnesty, but it would be better if we provided full context to other people's proposals. His proposal was actually to purge anyone...

Out of curiosity, Unibot, what do you think TSP should change in order to create greater stability, aside from believing they should purge a large number of citizens from citizenship for six months or longer?

It wasn't, actually; a condemnation badge would have lent credibility to unendorsement campaigns against Hileville, which probably would have seen him more rapidly lose endorsements. Especially if the unendorsement campaigns had referenced his condemnation. I can think of other instances where a co...

The problem with separation is that there is no direct game-related impetus to join the offsite if the government of the offsite is completely apart from the ingame reality. If you want to have a RP-only region then so be it, but if you ignore the Delegate in a GCR are you actually still playing Na...

Separation and everything aside. Also noting that I haven't had time yet to read your draft, or any others. From what you just said though; one year seems incredibly long for a Delegate's term. Given that people go through bouts of activity/inactivity at different times throughout the year. I don't...

An international condemnation would have helped to reduce Hileville's credibility and would have made it harder to claim that his actions were legitimate. That, in turn, might have resulted in more pressure from other major regions to restore the old government. There was no guarantee of this, obvi...

I would advise against a split executive but for different reasons: the image of a "caretaker" delegate in a region immediately signals to the region that the region is not a democracy but a dictatorship, especially when every other democratic GCR elects their delegates. I'm uncertain how...

Uh, not really. I maintain a region where I am the oldest GPer and it's quite active with a large community. Not even a year old yet and it's more active than older regions. You don't need a bunch of old GPers to create a community, there are plenty of new players out there that are willing to part...

I don't support this and, as the author of Condemn TBR, I definitely don't support the logic behind condemning only those who don't want to be condemned. We should condemn those worthy of in-character condemnation, full stop.

Just essentially closed down Asgard. Again. :P

Building and maintaining a user-created gameplay region is obscenely difficult these days, especially without a large group of existing gameplayers taking an active interest.

What does activity matter if the activity is only between the few people in the elected legislature? Surely activity isn't about how much is contributed but how many people are contributing and by how much. Elected legislatures just put a cap on activity. I'm not a fan of elected legislature...
