Accidental waste, indeed. Though if it puts it in lighter considerations, at least it isn't as bad as the intentional waste of ammo the military does. All those crates of ammo.

I don't want a boating accident, I want a machinegun. One that I can take to a range and fire with such an effect, it would make the old fudds scoff at such absurdity being used on the range. Are we still allowed to call old men with shotguns "Fudds" given that Elmer Fudd no longer has a ...

Why is it damn difficult to find Pre-86 M16 lower receivers? I mean, getting the parts to make AR be automatic is easy-peasy lemon squeezy, but the receiver is harder than a needle in a haystack.

And yet, it still could not deter the Dayton Shooter last year who used a 100-round drum magazine. Moral of the story, majority, in fact, 99.5% of gun laws are dumb. I'm not saying such a ban would be effective, good, or warranted. All I'm saying is it would at the very least be consistent with the...

Single or double-stacked magazine? Then again I suppose magazines in general can be unreliable depending how they are made or how the spring holds up, but yes, drums tend to suck. A good example was the drum mag my brother had for his AK as it kept causing feeding failures every time he fired a rou...

Gotta see if there is a candidate or are candidates who are willing to make our laws more on par with Arizona, Utah, or Alaska in regards of lax laws. On another note, you still can own a 50 or 60-round magazine. Yeah, and you could use those magazines in any manually activated weapon, like if you ...

Explain this bit please. Wait I see it now. Ohio defines any firearm with a magazine that holds over 31 rounds, as an "automatic firearm". https://www.gunlaws101.com/state/law/ohio/assault-weapon-restrictions which "can fire more than 31 without reloading" which gives you a thir...

So no limit on capacity? Yes and no, functionally it's a 30 round capacity for semi-autos. But the Ohio law is oddball enough to have a lower impact . Explain this bit please. Wait I see it now. Ohio defines any firearm with a magazine that holds over 31 rounds, as an "automatic firearm"....

Yes - but qualified. Basically, the court heavily relied on the fact that over half of all magazines produced are greater than ten rounds, so it’s “common”. If California had done a ban over 40 rounds, or maybe even 30 rounds, it would have stood up. Basically... https://78.media.tumblr.com/0e3cb3b...

I need more ammo, I have come to realize. As in 1000 or so more of 5.56 and at least a few hundred more of the 8mm Mauser. Perhaps more 9mm PB and .380 ACP. One benefit of rolling your own ammo. Latest bullets I've been using for .338 is the Hornady SST. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/5255/...

How viable and profitable would a "gun shooting" business be in countries with stricter gun control? The draw as I envision it, would be to allow paying customers/civilians to shoot/use all the various illegal/highly regulated weaponry that exists in a controlled setting. There would be a...
