4) Moving away from the topic of SC rules and towards more practical aspects of this discussion, I would like to point out that if your enemies have enough sway to repeal a Liberation, they would almost certainly have enough sway to shoot down a second Liberation as well. No, not necessarily. There...

This is unnecessary to do. I don't intend to do anything. *shrugs* The easy way to check something is to do it. While the code may allow it the rules don’t. Rule 2(b): Equally, Liberations cannot duplicate any existing ones for that region. The rule is about textual duplication, I'm not duplicating...

Liberate Belgium... again?

I didn't intend to submit a WA proposal ever again. But apparently the code allows you to liberate a region twice . There's room for this feature being useful - you could double up liberations if you there's a chance your opponents could get a repeal in place for the original resolution. Buys you ti...

My understanding is that it's very challenging to code a WA resolution category's effects, but I think it would be a good tech investment - the SC is very limited creatively. I think the two big issues in Gameplay are piling gaps and the stability of login-script regional hawks with WA Delegate powe...

Which of the four other Feeders were founded prior to becoming a Feeder? Also what was the timeline? I know TEP was founded prior to being Feeder-ed (by 'Hitler the Great,' beating out 'Francos Spain' for worst (psuedo-)founder). Unibot has a time line in this thread somewhere I believe. Hey there,...

What's the recruitment situation atm? I founded a nation just over a day ago, and excluding welcome TGs/note to leader and ignoring the frequent double TG notifications it's received almost 50 in just over a day (48). Ordinarily I would not bother responding, but the suggestions here are so offensive -- and disconnected from reality -- that I will do so. If there is not a single reject who supports TRR's policy in this area, I am confused as to who would be imposing the "social admonishment and censorship&q...

You could try actually addressing the deficiencies in your government's response to the situation in TEP rather than personally attacking Unibot. But then you've always excelled at personal attacks, so I'm really not terribly surprised. In addition to the ironies addressed above, I will further poi...

Erm, I saw no suggestion that the TRR government do anything, given that Unibot's post dealt exclusively with TRT, which is noted to not be an organ of TRR policy. I’ve called on both the Rejected Times to discuss the policy critically and for the Rejected Realms government to defend civil rights a...

Osiris will do what it wants to do first and foremost, with "serving as a powerful demonstration" to anyone being way down the priority list. Considering you're so out of the loop about Osiris that you thought TEP was still its ally, I think you'd do well to bark up a different tree, Unib...

I appreciate the honest response. All I will say is that democracy is only as good and effectual as the people that sustain it - as is monarchy and autocracy and anything else. I’ve played this game long enough to understand that if nothing else. Osiris is a better region than before, not necessary ...

Perhaps Osiris could just embrace democracy and save Gameplay an argument. A democratization of Osiris would put pressure on the East Pacific, an ally, to walk the talk on civil rights and democratic governance.

This one's a real old school GA question, that might not have an answer. I got a TG praising my clever use of " Real Life " cited as a computer/video game. I disclaimed ownership, as obviously I didn't invent the trope of Earth history and human life as an MMORPG / RTS. But someone had to...

I think you would have to have a comprehensive set of metrics to evaluate and conclude whether NationStates as a game is substantively less active than it was, say, five years ago, or whatever our baseline is here (IE: what we're considering to be a healthy standard for activity and participation.) ...
