You're talking to the author of The False Independence ... There's nothing gendered about triggering or spotting, and as countless female coders could tell you, there's nothing gendered about coding. (albeit there is something gendered about the way society at large and many workplaces treat women i...

Hey, so, what has Harmonia written apart from the False Independence? I'm trying to remember/find some sort of something she wrote, I wanna say for the NS World's Fair in 2015 or maybe 2014? All I remember about it is that she wrote it and that it was utterly bamboozling to try to understand, and I...

I never said Roavin shares Unibot's DNA, he merely follows certain parts of his playbook rather well. Almost like they have met on more than one occasion, or regularly discuss things... oh wait... :P Quite literally nobody in NS needs to meet me in person to know what I think about (1) independenti...

I know Euro is the registrar for that but, I thought I remembered someone making an announcement about four years ago but nevermind, I'm wrong. :P I think we tried to work with you closely about Cops II and then it all kind of collapsed. Euro's players were heavily involved with a COPS II conventio...

Yes, but even worse, TRR isn't in a bitchfight with TGW. Very depressing to those of us who grew up in Gameplay in the days of Unibot FRAUDL. :P Haha, FRUDL had nothing on Unibot-Grub bitchfests. Those were classics. I can't honestly muster much more than a chuckle in response to this : I hope that...

I stand corrected. But I thought it was the evil TRR elitres that controled the FRA, which was why you wanted to give the rangers votes? :P TRR was a very different region in that early part of 2011. TRR had just, essentially, been inherited by the Empire (Biyah, Dali, Wham and co.) via Nai - after...

Truly, based upon the claims of this Condemn. Lone Wolves United is one of the most powerful R/D organization in the game. We apparently can topple entire sinkers all by ourselves and secretly infiltrate the highest levels of defender organizations without them knowing, forcing them to disband. You...

I don't get why this is being repealed, TFRF were very prominent back when it was commended (and for many years before it.) Repealing a commendation just because a region declines seems a cruel fate.

I know some people will argue that this is the sort of thing commendations are meant for, but looking at it from the perspective of new-ish national leaders, who doesn't have much experience outside of their own domains, sports isn't what running a country is about, and with the first few paragraph...

What we do know is that there were three regions in the beta stage prior to the launch of the game.

That would be really interesting! I'll do a 'short' post up with some thoughts. Gah, you asked for it. The first question that has to be answered is what do we mean when we say "legitimacy"? I would define legitimacy as the exclusive right to govern over a region. It's actually quite rare...

I'd actually find a shorter-than-essay-length explanation of your views on this subject interesting. Your posts earlier in the thread seem to point to you agreeing more with me than with Kylia but you don't seem to go as far as I do ideologically. That would be really interesting! I'll do a 'short'...

I would also mention his significant terms as MoFA in TRR. Arguably, his work as MoFA had the most profound impact on TRR* and how it's seen around NS. He's helped to carve out a very distinct foreign policy for TRR. *By TRR's standards, Guy's terms as delegate were fairly short, even transitional. ...

Noted on the library. Are you sure about COPS? 90% sure they're the current registrar for COPS (taking over that role from TWP.) But do check. Yeaaaaaah, I would hold off on this unless someone from Euro knows better. I was recalling this clause from COPS but was under the impression (for some reas...

Aye, aye! With regards to nominees in the past that have been commended for the roles exclusive to one region - among them, ASBS, Fudgetopia, Flemingovia, Kandarin - I think they're some of the most worthy nominees we've had in the Security Council and Tsunamy is no exception. When you're contribut...

"Impressed By" should be Impressed by - the 'by' is not a verb. I believe Euro hosts the C.O.P.S now too, something to add to the resolution. You might also want to name and elaborate on Euro's Neighborhood Policy in the "Further Admiring" clause. And, I'm petty... ... but the N...

Actual legitimacy is when people confer that legitimacy to it.. The premise of this is ludicrously destructive to imperialist thought and you know it ( and are going to glibly skip over it. ) Actual legitimacy has nothing to do with how many people outside the region confer legitimacy to it; intern...
