My constituency has never ever elected a Conservative MP – until Thursday. The Conservative candidate overturned a majority of nearly 9,000 and ousted the local MP who was long regarded as a potential future leader. That was repeated across the county – even Blair's former seat was won by a Conserva...

The current prime minister, Naomi Stewart-York, is also the first female Prime Minister of Stormaen. The first female head of state was arguably Queen Elizabeth I of England who was on the throne when Stormaen was claimed as a colony for England (though it would be decades before the first permanent...

Personally, my preference would be ivory or ‘pasty’ skin with red or auburn hair - the typical Celtic or Scandy look. That said, I also really like the Mediterranean/Latino skin tone. But honestly I don’t think I’m that’s bothered.

Tipping was once rare in Stormaen but has become increasingly commonplace over the last few decades. Unlike the rest of North America where tipping is a percentage, tipping in Stormaen usually involves rounding (e.g. rounding up the nearest $5). This is because it doesn’t form and integral part of s...

does anyone know of any movements within SA to join the USA? None that I’m aware of; certainly nothing mainstream. Minister of Finance from 1996, Strachan came to office on 1st October 2003 as the compromise candidate of the left-wing and centris...

Heh https://nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balkenendenorm (Semi) public officials in NL are discouraged from earning more than 130% of a minister's salary. One of the British prime minister’s other titles is ‘Minister of the Civil Service’ and as such I certainly think they should be the highest paid civi...

I don’t think it’s the salary that draws people to the job of President of the United States or Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. It’s all about the power. Many people would do either job for free.

What is your issue title? So far, I’ve seen: A Literal Invasion , A Literal Endeavour , and A Literal Mission . Edit: It’s a good issue idea, though. I can’t recall one like it. Few spelling errors, and I’m by no means informed on the technical side, but it’s looking pretty good to my untrained eye.

If you weren’t circumcised, that wouldn’t directly effect anyone around you. If you weren’t vaccinated, that could directly effect everyone around you. There’s the difference.

I fully support the ban, as I did when the U.K. banned female genital mutilation. I don’t think we should allow anybody to mutilate a child because someone a few thousand years ago reckoned they should. If someone wants to be circumcised as a sign of their faith or because it’s required by their rel...

Check for an update to your browser first of all. Then perhaps try clearing your history. I use my iPad to frequently browse the site and I’ve never had this problem. That said, I also don’t use Safari so my experience of it is limited.

Blade Runner 2049 The cinematography is flawlessly beautiful. I love Villeneuve’s works so far and I reckon this is his best to date. The storyline wasn’t nearly so convoluted as the original original (recommend ‘Final Cut’ if you’re going to watch it) and it’s in nicely. I’m yet to discover the fa...
