I started off very to the left in my early teens (as in, anti-capitalist left) until stabilizing for a time at the centre-left. Now, in the past 12-18 months I've drifted even further to the center and towards authoritarianism. Overall though, my political opinions right now are chaotic and even con...

A robot can not give consent under any circumstance by definition. You can not program a robot to factor all things that actual women, with feelings, factor in when deciding to give consent or not. Especially since the only purpose these sexbots have is just that: sex.

It's way more complex than that, with the history of the group being related with the Syrian occupation of Lebanon (Syria is an ally of Iran) and since the civil war the Lebanese government has been mostly unable to control militia groups in the country. Corruption is rife, indeed, but Hezbollah is...

Nice, you don't remotely understand what's happening in lebanon. I do acctualy. There are mass protests over various issues including a tax on WhatsApp. Protesting the other things are valid. But WhatsApp is just a social media platform. A similar tax in Uganda was openly used to stifle public deba...

I'd say some 10% corporations, 50% state and 40% people.

Just two years ago it would be like 70-80% people and 20-30% state, but opinions change.

No relation between the different protests, other than protesters learning from the methods used in places like Hong Kong. It's likely that people are getting increasingly willing to publicly protest for their rights as human rights protections around the world have been weakened, but the examples i...

What was the point of taxing WhatsApp voice calls? Uganda-style* repression? Since when has Lebanon done that? Anyway, from what I know, the Lebanese political system has been disfunctional for years due to its sectarian, communalist foundation. This includes severe gridlock, including electoral del...

Sexbots aren't alive so there's no point on needing their consent, in fact, that defeats their entire purpose in the first place.

That is my normal state of utterly angry. I get a distant look on my face, and start speaking slowly, evenly, and methodically, especially if I am about to beat something to a pulp. People who know me, tend to get nervous when I am angry for some reason. Conversely, if I enjoy a confrontation I ten...

I don't think fireworks are a huge enough problem (here at least) to warrant tight restrictions on them (except maybe a ban on minors buying them). But honestly, if such restrictions are implemented, I will not waste my time pushing back.
