One hundred years ago, humanity lived in peace until giant humanoid creatures called titans appeared and drove mankind towards the brink of extinction by devouring almost all human life. The survivors erected three walls, Sina, Rose, and Maria, to protect humanity from the mindless titans. With only one million humans left the people of the walls await the day until they can reclaim what was once lost, or more likely, dread the day until they too will be devoured by the titan abominations.
