The United Republic of Mercia and Cornwall. A land stretching from the Humber to the Scillys. Mercia and Cornwall never became Christian (remained pagan, but with a hybrid religion of both their own and Roman religion), teamed up to take over the entirety of England and successfully repelled the French invasion, with no further expansionist agenda.
