A West-African state suffering the growing pains of rapid modernisation, rampant & extreme income inequality and international puppeteering under the neon-coloured, disco-filed beach-clad backdrop of 1983. Attempts to standardise on French in education have been of moderate success, but not without mass riots. In some regards a critique of Capitalism & Neo-colonialism, in others simply an exercise in particularly groovy, African vibes.
