The Shin Sonnō Jōi is a terrorist organization which has garnered much support in Southern japan for their firm stance against Nobusuke Kishi, the de facto ruler of Japan at the time. The Shin Sonnō Jōi view themselves as the vengeful spirits of those who have died on the day Order 44 was given out and seeks to eradicate the barbarians in the Tōkyō government.
