The UCA is a nation of racist Southerners who, in the aftermath of an unspecified disaster, believe they are in Africa, and- based on old Hollywood movies set in Africa- believe that white people are true Africans, with blacks being the descendants of the Jew, Cain, cursed by God to lives of slavery. At some point they picked up an old copy of an analysis of a student's summary of The Communist Manifesto written during the McCarthy era, and they have since adopted that as the basis of their economic system.
