2289 A.D.
In the early 21st century Siberia was struck by a massive asteroid that brought untold devastation and the collapse of almost every government. An alien virus, capable of mutating its victims, was brought to Earth as well. Eastern Europe, Siberia, China and countless other regions fell to the mutant horde. Europe became a medieval landscape ruled by feudal lords. The Middle East unified into a single Sultanate over time and entered a golden age wherein they have learned to co-exist with mutants. The Americas, which have lost contact with the old world, have turned into a Mad Max hellhole.

The time has come to make yet another nation. You'll probably recognize me.
