The United Frontier Worlds are a multi-system commonwealth of democratic planets and moons. All are ruled independently but with the military and scientific, engineering, and economic projects/programs as well as diplomacy not specific to a single world ruled by a government headed by a president. As this government is not in charge of all but a few civil affairs, it is not elected by the people.
