Hudson class Armed Arctic Sovereignty vessel

Hudson class Armed Arctic Sovereignty vessel have a double hull, with the outer hull being approximately 48 mm thick at the ice-breaking areas and 25 mm thick elsewhere. There is water ballast between the inner and outer hulls which can be shifted to aid ice-breaking. Ice-breaking is also assisted by an air bubbling system which can deliver 24 m³/s of air from jets 9 m below the surface. The ships have polymer coated hulls to reduce friction. Hudson class Armed Arctic Sovereignty vessels can break ice while making way either forwards or backwards. Unique to the Hudson class is the triple barreled 300mm Ice Pick Antisubmarine mortar. The bombs launched by the Ice Pick are of a piercing design with a 400lb explosive warhead and can penetrate 12ft of ice before sinking and detonating at staggered depths. Hudson class Armed Arctic Sovereignty vessel is armed to enforce control over arctic territorial waters against a variety of threats and targets.

Afloat Forward Staging Base [AFSB]

The AFSB concept uses a 1,140-foot commercial container ship with a 140-foot beam, puts a flight deck on top to launch and recover helicopters and, potentially, short take-off and landing, fixed-wing aircraft. The ship would use modular berthing, feeding, medical and administrative spaces and would incorporate a selective cargo discharge system, automating supply selection and distribution. Its role is a temporary long term base in which land bases are tenable for whatever reason. The AFSB is also perfect for disaster relief support operations with its massive cargo capacity and large medical faculties.

CAH-64N Sea Apache
The Sea Apache is different from the normal AH-64 series in many ways. One of the major differences between the CAH-64 Sea Apache and US AH-64 variants is the folding blade mechanism to stow the helicopters in confined spaces; the rotor blades also have anti-ice protection to allow operations in arctic environments. Another is the use of Rolls-Royce Turbomeca RTM322 01/12 engines instead of the General Electric T700-GE-701Cs. The Rolls-Royce engine produces 1,565 kW (2,100 hp) vs 1,410 kW (1,890 hp) for the GE T700C engine. Also there are increased corrosion preventive measures, improved electro-magnetic interference protection, a Doppler navigation system, upgraded brakes, additional tie down points, and a powered automatic rotor blade fold system.

There are changes to the sensor and avionics outfitting the craft as well; connectivity with the BOWMAN secure communications system to interact with other units being a significant one. SELEX (formerly BAE Systems Avionics) Helicopter Integrated Defensive Aids System (HIDAS) were also fitted.

Like the US AH-64D Apache Longbows; the CAH-64 Sea Apache carries a fire-control radar (FCR) and Radar Frequency Interferometer (RFI), providing an integrated surveillance and attack system. The 'Longbow’ radar is the bulbous unit over the rotor hub assembly; radar placement above the rotors allows the Apache to hover behind cover scanning for targets, with only the radar unit exposed

THe size of the Trident precludes its use in any of the Launchers of the vessels and the vessels other combats systems.
