Um....problems? God is white who protects a white girl from "sins" which are played by people of color who, near then end, apparently try to rape her and tear off her black shirt (thankfully she was wearing a white shirt beneath, or it would have been scandalous) before White God comes and kicks their colored asses. Problematic? I think so. And apparently this skit is immensely popular, and it was done at this big evangelical conference of like 35,000 people who apparently did not notice the racist undertones.

Honestly, I would have watched the whole thing, but I got bored.

Racist undertones? One of the "sins" is another white chick. Another is a white woman dressed all in black with a black mask. And they're not trying to rape her, they're trying to keep her away from God.
It's a pretty good skit, for what it is. I don't believe in God myself, but it's an entertaining way of getting their "Sin will take you from God, but God will protect you if you let him" point.

Light and dark/black and white have long been used to symbolize good and evil. I don't think its racist at all. And if we want to play this game, I am sure I could find just about anything that could be portrayed as sexist, racist, religionist, ageist, etc etc.

Hail, gladdening Light, of His pure glory poured Who is th'immortal Father, heavenly, blest, Holiest of Holies--Jesus Christ our Lord!
Now we are come to the sun's hour of rest; The lights of evening round us shine; We hymn the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit divine!
Worthiest art thou at all times to be sung With undefiled tongue, Son of our God, giver of life, alone: Therefore in all the world thy glories, Lord, they own. Amen.

Pretty much this, but I'd also like to add my own thoughts:
Why the Hell was Jesus white? They should've gotten a person from Israel to be Jesus. Also, what the Hell were they on when they did the beginning? Seems like the girl and Jesus was on a drug trip.

Was that meant to be Jesus? I figured God. Well, same thing I suppose.
They should've gotten a person from Israel to be Jesus.
Kinda relies on them having an Israeli guy who 1)can do it and 2)will do it.
Also, what the Hell were they on when they did the beginning? Seems like the girl and Jesus was on a drug trip.
My impression was that God/Jesus was showing her how awesome the creation he created was.

If that's what they were going for then they shouldn't have used two white people as their Sins. But you know, if 3 black to 2 whites makes it racist, well there were 3 women to 2 men. I guess it's sexist too.

The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

While true, the fact that this was filmed in a Tennesse church should have put more thought into the cast... Also, Wilgrove, the actor playing Jesus looked more hispanic or New Jerseyan. Hard to tell at that distance.
... I'm guessing when the band's lawyers get wind of this the video(s) will be taken down.

Jesus was the original Commie. And why would Jesus have a problem with hitting the wine? You'd think he'd be all for it.
