Vampires in YN

Does your nation have a vampire population? If so, how are they treated?

In Arcane Hermetic Orders and our region, The Ethereal Realms, vampires are left alone, as is everyone and everything. Vampires stalk their prey at night and live their lives free of interference, and is a blossoming segment of the population.

Sure, why not? I like that idea. Let's just say they're a respected order and we collaborate with them and we have various ranking vampire officials in the church, military, and government.

Vampires don't exist and most people don't believe in them. A small portion of the population, mostly located in the southwest of the country, believe that vampires have infiltrated the government and control the country.

There were some books of what Empyrian historians would call "proto-vampires" in East Emperyo, but in 1300 the Catholic Inquisition went there to drive them into extinction.

Vampires used to not exist and stories of them were disregarded as myth, until some bored scientists created a sort of virus that made blood the only required diet, the skin being so sensitive to UV light that it vaporizes into sand, and tomatoes and garlic essentially poison. Devernia was perfect for vampirism, mainly because it's always rainy and there's little sunlight. They weren't able to replicate the "vampires hate crosses and rosaries and stuff" part, though.

Due to the Bioweapon Law concerning artificial viruses and bacteria, you couldn't release it in the wild without getting sent to a "prison" (Devernite prisons are like Norwegian prisons.) Rather, the virus gets confiscated by the government and it is held in some heavy-duty vault. Also, you need to make a vaccine for it as well.

We used to have vampires prior to the early 1700s, until they were exterminated under orders of the then-Kaiser as they have wreaked havoc along the land. Now they're just a piece of fiction.

In the grim dark future they have found a home in the under hives. All are considered extremely dangerous and are to be killed on sight. Inquisitor Drakon Haüfen is leading the extermination of them are an unknown world.

Vampires have been hidden for years on Parah, but, the actual government maked EVERY type of "anormal creature" have they rights preserved. How? Protecting them on the National Scientific Agency "artificial worlds". The Vampires and other creatures born out of the artificial world, are moved to them. And on this "artificial world" called "Mystika", they receive blood, house, "friends" and other stuff to survive. The project is totally secret and conspirancy theorists accuses the government for make experiments with they; Few vampires try to escape Mystika.
