I'm considering joining the party as I like much of what I see here.

The only real disagreement I have with the platform is the tax. I favor a Land Value Tax.

To be perfectly honest I was already fairly unsure about the party's tax policy. If you want to join, I'm sure we'll be totally happy to accommodate your preferred tax system.

I don't mind the party having an official stance, as long as it allows members to disagree with parts of the platform.

That one thing aside, I'm pretty much in full agreement with the party and the tax policy is something I can live with.

We're more or less open to party members disagreeing with the platform as long as they agree with enough of it to justify being a member of the party. But I'm being genuine when I say that I was already planning on changing the party tax policy anyway, so it would be great to hear your recommendations for what the party line should be. In fact you're welcome to write a short paragraph on the subject for me to stick into the platform if you like.
