FT, but roam where i please
It does not reflect my real life world political views, which are considerably less authoritarian and more moderate
Refer to my factbook for canon, it´s however out of date, and badly written. So take it with a grain of salt

Required Information

Name: Charlotte Noble. Anyone who wishes to submit complaints, please direct them to... someone else.

Username: Noblemind

Sex: What? No, who do you think she--oh. Female.

Character Bio:
She always seemed to be marked for tragedy. Her mother perished at her birth, and things only got worse from there. She lived with her father for three years--the happiest years of her life. Her father was always kind, always cheerful, always had something new to show her. She trusted him completely, and believed that he would always be there for her.

But the universe is cold and cruel, and what is the belief of a child but dust on the wind?

She was three years old when it happened. The news reported that a fire had taken many lives--but they didn't report what was truly important--at least to her. Her father was dead, and he was never coming back. She could not survive alone, of course, and so she was taken from everything she had ever known and placed into a home where she did not belong. But humans have long imitated the universe, and she was cast out only two years later--and so the cycle of betrayal and loneliness continued for three years, until finally she found herself being cared for, loved, two kind people watching over her. She thought at last she had found a home again.

But the nature of the universe had not changed, and tragedy struck again when she fell severely ill, and the couple simply couldn't afford to pay for her medicine--so with tears in their eyes, they bid her farewell, and again she was passed on--but this time, four years later, she was completely unprepared for what was going to happen to her.

Michael Kincaid. Another American who had moved to Japan, and a man who should never have been allowed to take care of her--but he was. And Charlotte entered living hell.

Michael quickly became the focus of Charlotte's nightmares. He hurt her in a way that the once-innocent twelve-year-old couldn't understand. And it continued, her days filled with agony, her nights sleepless, the horror of her situation only becoming clear when she finally learned what had happened, after a long year of confusion and sorrow. Her grades fell sharply, and it was inevitable that someone would finally ask. And five years after it all began, they did.

One day, a counselor at school asked her to come and talk to him. She was a brilliant girl, he said. But now... Now she was at risk of failing. Relieved, she finally spilled her story, telling him every gruesome detail, every horrifying episode of pain, every horrible night, feeling certain that he would do something, trusting that he would get her out of the hell her life had become. But the universe is pitiless, and it was not to be. He did the one thing Charlotte did not expect. He picked up the phone, and he called Michael Kincaid. The man arrived there, already showing small signs of anger, signs that Charlotte recognized, but, clearly, signs the counselor did not. The counselor turned to Charlotte, and said the sentence that would change her life.

"Tell him what you just told me."

She turned pale. She couldn't say it. Didn't he know what would happen to her? Apparently not, because he told Michael exactly what she had been saying. Would he deny it? Of course he would. He played it off as a stunt, a grab for attention, and the counselor believed everything... Michael had always been a very, very good liar. Charlotte was taken away, and that night was the worst of all. She was wounded, torn, her screams for mercy unheeded, and then cast out into the cold night. She lay there, bleeding, sobbing, pure terror and sorrow and pain filling her mind with no hope of relief. Finally, she forced herself to crawl for help. After what seemed like an eternity, she finally reached a house, where the owners took pity on her--for in her wretched state only those with a heart of stone and a soul of ice could turn her away--and let her stay the night. The next morning, she ran, putting as much distance between herself and her past as possible...

And then, a few months later, she discovered Sword Art Online. Despite its nature, she took to the game quickly, the darkness her mind had been driven into flourishing within her until she was close to madness.

Then she met someone, an old friend she had long forgotten. Things began to take a turn for the better, until she confessed the truth about her past. Shortly after, he disappeared. She never knew his reasoning, but it seemed only logical for her to assume that it had been her secrets that had driven him away from her. Loneliness and misery took her again, and she started to feel even more hatred towards herself, hatred she directed at others in order to hide how much pain she was truly in.

But there was one person who seemed to notice. He was called Dremo, and despite her constant insistence on solitude, he kept trying to help her. She didn't understand that at all. Unfortunately, his help did nothing to save her from her enemies.

She hunted red players down and killed them, making herself a formidable foe to anyone whose cursor wasn't green. This brought her to the attention of a guild known as the Dark Paladins, one of the worst PK guilds in the entire game. She was a threat, and they wanted her either out of the way or on their side.

So one paladin tracked her down, and in an effort to completely break the already-unstable girl, he pulled her back into her worst nightmare.

Left once again alone, broken, and filled with hatred, she fell even further towards insanity, her mind continuing to crack as she fought back against the world around her, the world that had left her to suffer and die inside.

Unfortunately, there were still quite a few paladins left.

But there was still some luck on her side. Dremo hadn't given up trying to help her...and she needed help now more than ever.

RP Example: ...:eyebrow: What, you don't remember this character? LOOK AT ME, YOU FUNNY MAN. LOOK AT ME. She's all that I need for an example. *wink*

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Well. She has two main facets to her personality, both of which were created by her own self-loathing. On the one hand, there's her when she's not focusing her self-hatred inwards, and instead forces it outwards onto other people, acting hostile and filled with contempt towards them, even though in reality, the emotions she displays as aimed at them are actually felt about herself. On the other hand, there's her when she accepts her hatred towards herself, and becomes unobtrusive and quiet, reluctant even to speak since she considers herself a stain on the surface of the earth--so much so that the mere sight of her own reflection can cause her to snap, desperate to get rid of her own image. There is a part of her that is kind, caring, and loyal, the remnants of the innocent little girl she used to be, but that part of her is buried deep under years of pain and suffering until it's near-impossibly difficult for it to resurface. Treat her with genuine kindness, though, and once she believes that you mean it, she'll be completely loyal. Starved for real affection and bitterly lonely and lost, under her exterior lies a scarred soul that still desperately wants to believe there's hope, but can't quite bring herself to.

Moral Alignment: Don't even try categorizing her.

Theme Song:
'Study'--Quiet Madness
'Renaissance'--Melancholy
'Fairy'--Unwanted
'Recorder'--Pleading
'Carnivale'--Imbalance
'Nursery'--Have You Seen Me?
'Kasumi'--Broken
'Traditional'--Lost
'Mystery'--Dearly Missed
'Girls'--Loneliness
'Creature'--Soulless
'Dark'--Placid Hate
'Past'--Need
'Memories'--Hopeless
'Discovery'--Somehow...

Required Information

Name: Thessa Shinobu

Username: Virgil

Sex: Female

Character Level: 105

Age and Origin: 23 (February 1st, 1999), Born in Athens, Greece (Half-Japanese & Half Greek)

Picture Appearance:
Image

Character Skill: Dual Blades

Height, Weight, Body Type: 175 cm, 52 kg, Slim

Equipment:
Weapon: Image

Armor: WIP

Character Bio: Thessa was born to a Japanese father & Greek mother. Not much is known about her, since she rarely every tell anything about her family to anyone but her closest friends. Even then, she made her friends swore to never tell anyone about it. But, it's safe to say that her family always get involved in some events that would normally destroy your average family. For some reason, her family was still in one piece, but the relationships between the family members is not clear, though in public, they would appear to have a normal relationship between family members.

According to her diary, that was discovered by her sister (she only have one sister, currently still in high school). she had a dream once. It was around October 2013, date unknown. She was sitting near a boy / man, staring at the night sky. But she was about to be hit by a mysterious blue projectile, the man grabbed her hands, rolling her aside, saving her. However, when another volley of those projectiles hit her, she looked the man at his eyes, saying "Thank You" as she disappeared. Then, everything went dark. She then woke up abruptly, in the middle of the night, with tears running down her face, and cold sweats. She then wrote it down, and went back to sleep shortly after.

Thessa is a complicated person. When she was still in school, be it from high school or even kindergarten, she always only had few friends that she trusts the most. Despite her somewhat few social activities, she's still top of her class. She went to University & graduated with honors. People around her tend to respect her as the top of the class, with no jealousy or whatnot. It is unknown why, but some speculated that she always establish basic relationship with those around her, and only choose those she could fully trust, while maintaining an "acquaintance" relationship with others. Even when she's at workplace, this trend keeps continuing.

Around the time NerveGear was released, she was at Japan, transferred there due to work demands. Her opinion on gaming was completely shrouded in mystery, but she's occasionally seen at game stores, though her co-workers would often not aware of her being there, while only those who are part of her group actually knows what's on her mind when it's about gaming. When SAO was released, she acquired a copy from a store near her office. While her friends don't play the game, they would discuss it as it was a hit, even for people her age. When Kayaba Akhihiko announced about the death feature, she didn't panic or anything. She just go with the flow.

RP Example: Is this a question? lol

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Mysterious. But, according to Josua, who was "abducted" by her, she's actually very funny & cheerful person. Though it's worth to take note that she's only like that while around him. In public, she's completely unreadable.

Moral Alignment: Evil Good (In public, Neutral Good)

Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpAgM0YVlx0

Required Information

Name: Josua

Username: Josua (I'm lazy to use my other usernames.)

Sex: Male

Character Level: 111

Age and Origin: 26 (October 30th, 1996), Born in Jakarta, Indonesia (Half-Indonesian & Half-Chinese)

Picture Appearance:

Character Skill: Dual Blades

Height, Weight, Body Type: 180 cm, 90 kg, Average (Not too slim, but not too wide either).

Equipment:
Weapon:Image

Armor:Image)

Character Bio: Josua had been a gamer long before SAO came out. He's one of those that people could say as the ones who saw the evolution of gaming system. Well, they're not wrong. His first game platform was PC, though he would continue to say that the PlayStation One is his first game system, since he was too young when he started to play PC games & didn't quite understand. As he grew, he played the PS2, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 & finally back at PC again. He played various games from different genres, but as time passed, he found that he like games with great, rich story & gameplay, in some cases even soundtrack. In his high school & university years, he played MMO-ish games with real-time action kind of gameplay.

As for family, he was not very fond of them. He had no father & was raised by his mother. Since he was a kid, he was always compared to his elder brothers & sister in academical achievements by his mother, despite the difference of 17 - 20 years. He also received numerous physical abuse by his mother when he was still in kindergarten. He was very bitter of his mother. His bitterness finally reached the peak, sometime in 2013, when his mother attempted to kick him out just because he wants to stay at home, not accompanying his mother to Bandung. The resulting consequence of the act was him in losing faith in his family, and all sorts of attachment towards the main family members. As for his nephews & nieces, he cared for them, since they could live a better life than he ever did & not suffer the same thing as he did in growing up. And thus, he decided to cut contact with the main family, only maintaining with his nephews & nieces in secrecy. That bitterness also caused him to be apathetic. He rarely shows any emotion, unless under certain circumstances. Also, he rarely smiles, thanks to his mother's way of raising him. He rarely interacts with his friends, but he maintains a good relationship with them, since (ironically) his friends were more instrumental & helpful than his own family.

Although he's not as good as a pro, but his gaming skills are enough to make him one of the respected gamers in his country. He's a game developer with the name of the studio Freedom's Legacy Studios, which he formed after he graduated from university in 2019. He's very interested in VR tech ever since its revival of popularity back in 2012 with the Oculus Rift (and it's subsequent release in 2016, along with other notable VR headsets such as HTC Vive & PlayStation VR). His studio, while based in Jakarta, also has a branch in Tokyo, in order to act as the representative in Game Development Conferences. Thus, he frequently travels to Japan & rarely in Jakarta.

When the NerveGear came out, he researched the device, as it was the first to be capable of full-immersion VR & he wanted to know how this thing works. He was quite shocked by the capability of the transmitters & deduced that it could potentially be lethal, if anyone tinkers with it. Fully knowing this, he wants to prove this theory himself, and when SAO came out in 2022, he bought the game & played it. Before he commenced his Full-Dive, he told his friends & family (his nieces & nephews in this case) that should anything happen to him, do not ever attempt to remove the helmet. He also forbade them from buying the NerveGear or play SAO, as it could be dangerous.

When Kayaba Akhihiko made the announcement, Josua wasn't too thrilled, but he also didn't panic like the others. He analyzed the situation & from the explanation he heard, he concluded that his theory was correct after all & the NerveGear is indeed very dangerous. Since then, he started leveling up in order to clear the game as soon as possible, knowing the time that he & the other players has depends on how long they're real body could keep being sustained. At least, he didn't have to worry about his family or friends, knowing that he forbade them from buying the helmet or playing the game & also gave them the warning.

RP Example: Nothing recent. Sorry.

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: INFJ-A "The Advocate" (If you don't know, check it up)

Moral Alignment: Lawful Good when in work. But in "psychotic" mode, borderline Chaotic Good & Chaotic Evil. When in normal, True Neutral.

Have You Read, Understand, and Agree with the OP Posts & Rules In Detail? Yes (Is that really necessary?)

Required Information

Name: Katrina Bosewell

Username: Kaiana

Sex: Female

Character Level: 105

Age and Origin: Probably 19 now, and she lives in Japan.

Picture Appearance:

Character Skill: Weapons forging

Height, Weight, Body Type: She's around 5'4", weighs around 130 pounds or so, and has more of a thin, curvy body style.
Equipment: her battle axe thingy, it's black and has gold trim n stuff. Yanno.

Character Bio: Katrina had never really been popular in school, and didn't make perfect grades. She was a "wallflower"; Sticking away from the big crowds and such. She always found time to play games rather than studying. When the VRMMO technology came about, Katrina dropped the homework pages and pencils, and whisked herself away into the world of VRMMOs. She was the person to get SAO right after the last beta tester, much to her disappointment. Though, she was the first person to get the full release of SAO. She had locked her door to her bedroom, turned off the lights, closed the blinds, and put the helmet on. She had always been fascinated with games like these. Games that simulated real feelings and emotions, and food. If only she had known she'd be stuck in there forever, or what seemed like forever. Since the first time she found she was stuck in the game, she'd banded with a few players like Dremo and Tophat, as they all worked together to get from floor to floor. She eventually fell in love, and settled down for a while before coming back to the front lines. She refuses to say why.

RP Example: Every SAO before..? xD

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: The kind and sweet type, though she has a short fuse and can be rather irritable at times. She's brave, she's a bit secretive, and she can be introverted sometimes.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic good

Theme Song: perhaps...

Character Skill: Dual Wield

Height, Weight, Body Type: 170 cm, 52 kg, Slim

Equipment:
Weapon: Image

Armor: Image

Character Bio: Maria Lucy Ann was born on March 11th, 2003, in Los Angeles, USA. Her family was, by all means, a normal one, in a sense, since she was pretty much happy & there were no problems in her family that affected her greatly, unlike her guild leader. She was the first of three child, in which she became the eldest of the kids in the house. She was, in a way, an example for her little brother & sister. This is due to the fact that she didn't have any problem or got into any, both in home or school. She had a lot of friends, which most of them liked her because of her care-free personality, which attracts others to her. Her father was a soldier in the USMC & her mother was a former politician. It's even a miracle for her & her siblings to have such family without having problems that would normally plague such family.

Sometime in 2019, when she was a freshman in high school, her father got orders to transfer to Japan. He had to bring his family with him, including Maria. Although this saddened her a little, since she'll be leaving her friends behind, she was excited because she gets to live outside the US for the first time. When she got into a Japanese high school shortly after, she had a minor problem on trying to adapt, since she didn't know how to speak or write Japanese. However, after a year, she could communicate just fine, thanks to another American girl who also went into the same school as her, who helped her to adapt to the new environment. When the NerveGear came out in 2022, she was in her 3rd Year in high school. It was quite the talk in her school, with the boys talking about it during lunch times & after schools. Even some of the girls in her school also became enthusiastic about it. Maria managed to acquire the last NerveGear, with SAO included, in a shop after the stocks near her home were sold out. She was excited to play the new frontier of gaming. But, when Kayaba Akhihiko announced the death trap, she was scared as hell. However, she calmed herself down & made up her mind.

It was after the 4th Floor Boss Raid. She took a break in a tavern in the Town of Beginnings on the 1st Floor. Josua came to the center of the town & made the announcement of the formation of his guild, named Infinity Twilight Brigade. She was interested in joining one, since the more the merrier. It was unexpected, however, that her guild leader would be so.... What's the word, eccentric. Sometimes he would be quiet, other times he would be loud as hell. On occasions, he would tease her from time to time. Although she was annoyed, she was grateful that someone would care about her. She would become the unofficial secretary of the guild, managing secretarial duties of the guild. But her skills were not to be underestimated. It was rumored that during the infamous 6th Floor Boss Raid, she was one of the vanguards in her guild that could keep up with the leader's speed. Nonetheless, her skills are the real deal.

RP Example: Meh. Do I even need to say?

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Happy-go-lucky kind of girl. But she can be serious when the time comes.

Moral Alignment: Neutral Good

Application

Required Information

Name: Arno Degramo

Username: Dremo

Sex: Male

Character Level:I'd say 110. He's an active player on the Frontlines, and an active clearer.

Age and Origin: Around 18 right now. He he was born on the 20th October 2008 in Vienna, Austria.
Picture Appearance:
Character Skill:Dual Wielding

Height, Weight, Body Type: He is 1.78 meters tall, weighs 65 kilograms, and he is pretty thin overall, and not exactly muscular.

Equipment: Dremo is only wearing light armor and clothing that isn't going to affect his mobility too much. In terms of clothing, he usually wears normal pairs of trousers with a black belt, a normal pairs of shoes, a shirt, a coat, a diagonally belt that passes over his right shoulder, and as always, a long scarf around his neck(he's only extremely rarely seen without the scarf). While this clothing around wouldn't be that strange on its own, he is always, but always, wearing only gray clothes. The shades of gray between his different pairs of clothes might be a little different, but almost everything he wears is always grey.

In terms of weapons, he takes full advantage of his dual wielding skill, and always uses two swords, in terms of size somewhere around the size of a knightly sword, that even if they aren't as light as rapiers, can be used usually with one hand each, but if needed, any of them can also be used with two hands. Dremo also has a large variety of throwing pins, some with certain poisons with effects like paralysis, that can be used when stealth is needed, and were really used in his fights against red players.

Character Bio:
Arno was born in Vienna, Austria, as the only son and first child of a pretty wealthy Austrian businessman and his wife. He spent the first years of his life following his parents from place to place, as their business trips almost always required them to leave for other countries. Eventually though, his mother also gave birth to two twin girls, and because of that, since you couldn't simply take three kids with you, they were mostly left in the care of their grandparents, who were living near Salzburg, in Austria. Around the same time, two old friends of his parents needed a place to leave their daughter in, as they were in the military and needed to leave for somewhere in the Middle East, and they asked for the help of his parents. That's how their daughter, Julia, started to live with Arno and his sisters near Salzburg. The two, Arno and Julia, knew each other from various places where their parents had met, but it was during that time they spent there that they really became friends. Those were some nice years, when Arno, his sisters, Julia and a girl that was an older friend of hers really had fun. It's also possible that Arno developed a crush for Julia at the time, even if he never had the courage to tell her. Well, nothing good lasts forever. Eventually, that girl left for Turkey, breaking the group, and then, a little more over a year later, Arno's parents decided to buy a company in Japan, and that they had to move there. Even if he was shocked by that sudden decision, and didn't want to leave, he had to. Julia returned to living with her parents, and had to move from city to city, while Arno and his family moved to Tokyo, Japan.
In Tokyo, Arno initially had a lot of difficulties in accommodating to this new environment. Not only was the language really difficult, but the culture in general was so different from what he was used to. Slowly, he tried to adapt, becoming fairly popular in his class because of his foreign origin, but that earned the hate of a certain part of his schoolmates, and the relation between Arno and that group really deteriorated, until the point where those boys started to bully him. Eventually though, because of that bullying, Arno simply snapped, and fought back, the relation between him and those boys really turning to hate. In order to get their revenge on him, those boys decided to hit him through his sisters, and waited for them one evening when they were returning from school. Their screams eventually attracted their brother's attention and.. what happened there isn't really known, but it left most of the ones who were there traumatized, and one of the bullying boys had died.
After that incident, Arno changed schools, and started to isolate himself, becoming a loner. He changed schools a couple more times, but wherever he went, the rumors followed him. He became more and more introverted, and started to spend his time playing video games, watching anime and reading manga, neglecting school.
Eventually, Julia's parents sent her to live with her grandfather, who was also living in Tokyo. For the first time in many years, the two met again. But Julia didn't manage to recognize him anymore. The boy had changed, a lot. She tried to help and change him, but she failed, as he refused all help. The relation between them deteriorated really quickly, and after a prolonged argument, Arno slapped her, angry. An act that he always regretted. But it was too late, as she refused to speak with him ever again.
Closing himself even more, the boy became interested in VR gaming, and it was clear that the beta for the game Sword Art Online was going to attract his attention. He applied for it, and he was one of the 1000 players that were accepted. The game was just so real, and he really, really liked it. During the beta, he spent most of his time on the frontlines, exploring, or simply enjoying the game. After the first days, he met and befriended a really good female player, and they had a lot of fun in the game, together with the many other friends they made. Eventually though, Arno realized that the female player he had befriended, was actually Julia. He gathered his courage and told her, and apologized for everything he had done. She forgave him.
But eventually, the beta ended, and both Arno and Julia couldn't wait for the release of the game. Time passed slowly, but finally, the game was released. Having played in the beta, they had received copies of their own, of course, and they logged in as soon as they could, together with many of their friends from the beta or friends they had convinced to try the game. Little did they knew about what was going to happen...
The first hours of the game were a bliss, as they all had almost even more fun than in the beta. But then... it happened. The death game began. They were now closed in the game, and the only way to escape was to beat the game.
As beta testers, they didn't lose their composure as fast as the new players, and in order to survive, they knew that they had to act fast. Gathering their friends, they started to fight, making quests and advancing. They also tried to help the new players by giving free information, and even taking some of them under their protection. Eventually, they created their own guild, the Creed, which became one of the largest guilds in the first months of the game. But with more and more players dying, the beta testers became commonly hated among most of the other players.
Eventually, one day, Arno, or better said Dremo, as his username was, wanted to perform a possibly dangerous quest, for a pretty good reward, seemingly a good sword. through a tip he got from a certain player. He knew that the quest was going to be dangerous, but the sword... it was worth all the risks especially if it was going to allow him to better protect his friend, and with that sword, he would have been able to fight someone that was threatening them.He tried to leave on his own, unwilling to put his friends in danger. He went as far as temporarily unfriending them and leaving the guild, knowing that they, especially Julia, would be trying to follow him. Unfortunately, Julia and most of the guild members were waiting for him. He tried to convince them not to come, but it was in vain. They followed him, and they completed the quest together, winning the sword.
Immediately after finishing they quest, they tried to return to the city, but without them knowing, a plan against them was just starting. They were soon ambushed by red players. Was it for the sword? For personal reasons? For the hate against the beta testers? No one knows, but at least the last one was the reason claimed by those red players. Some of the guild members betrayed their comrades.. it ended with a massacre. It was a chaos. Dremo ended up attacking a green player, and his cursor turned to orange. He lost most of his HP, but he was eventually saved by Julia, and they ran away. Very few survived.
As they were running away, they were followed by some of the red players. They tried to seek refuge in a settlement, but they couldn't, because of Dremo's orange cursor. Dremo tried everything he could to convince Julia to go in that settlement, since she was able to, because of her green cursor. That was probably the only time in his life Dremo really begged. He asked her to go in, he tried to ask other players for help but... nothing. They tried to run away again, but the red players caught up to them, and during the fight, they got separated. The last thing he heard was her scream... before he was it by a dart with a paralyzing potion. He just remained there, and for some reason, the red players spared him. But that was the last time he ever actually saw her.
After that event, Dremo became a solo player, and started to play alone on the frontlines, never having the courage to face the reality, go to the first floor and check if she was actually dead. He became an active part in the clearing group, and eventually somehow befriended various players he met while fighting the bosses, but he remained the same solo player, refusing to join any of the guilds that invited him, and continued to fight on the frontline, up until today.

The <<Night of the Long Knives>> event greatly affected him, as he is blaming himself for that happened that night, and he considers himself to be at least partially guilty for the ruse through which the red players managed to free so many of their own from the Black Iron Dungeon. He joined and actively helped the groups of clearers who hunted the red players throughout the game. However, his repeated failures to find the Dark Paladins or any of his former friends have become increasingly frustrating, the guilt hurting him more and more. He has become really focused on clearing the game, even accepting to cooperate with other players if needed, and now, when they are so close.. he will do anything to help the players escape the death game, and to find the Dark Paladins and settle the score.

He has also become closer to some of the players he has known throughout the game, although he's also been avoiding some of them. He has become pretty worried about Noblemind in the last time, thinking that something might have happened, but knowing that she doesn't want to speak with anyone, he's trying to avoid it and try to find out what happened in one way or another.

RP Example: I'm like, the awesome Thrace. I don't need a RP example.

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Upon a first look, Dremo is quiet, cold, and introverted, not exactly liking to interact with other people, and also fairly paranoid at times. That however, is just what the change the events in this game, and the guilt and grief that followed, have done to him. For those people that know him at least a little, he can be really kind, trying to act nice to the people he knows. He is also pretty brave, and is extremely caring for his friends. Unfortunately, he also has his bad moments, when he might get really angry, sometimes drinking, but he really feels guilty for that. He's also feeling a light hope that some of his former friends might still be alive, including Julia, but he is repeatedly refusing to believe it.

Even if he probably will never admit it, but he really enjoys helping people, and hates evil, that being one of the reasons for why although he has been hunting red players for quite a while, he is arresting them and refuses to kill or hurt them, believing in his own code of honor more than in revenge. That combined with the care he has for his friends means that he will normally try to help the people he considers to be his friends, whether they want it or not.

Moral Alignment: Lawful Neutral, but can really get Chaotic Evil against the people he hates.

Theme Song: Maybe

Guild Application

Name: Wild Hunt

Abbreviation: WH

Headquarters: None. They basically just roving around.

Area of Activity: Mainly somewhere between 16th and 17th floor. They're stuck there because they can't advance to the 5th floor, not with their current condition.

Type: Orange, due to occasional PK-ing.

Role: Oscillates between Frontline guild, Mid-level, and PK-er guild. Though they mostly performing PK just for fun when they get bored of clearing dungeons, claiming it was necessary to advance to the next floor and to end this game.

Leader: Zai

Sub-leader: Vin

Members: Only five known members exist in this guild. They are:

- Zai (The Leader)
- Vin (Sub-leader)
- Afa (member)
- Rei (member)
- PPD (member)

General Level: Somewhere between 100 and 120.

Short Description: A guild that was formed by Zai and his real-life close friends, when they first started playing the death game. It was created out of Zai's suggestion to calm down his friends, who were panicking when Kayaba announced the death game. He said that by forming a guild, they can at least always band together, and protect each other, while also striving together towards one goal: to end this game. Since then, they had been clearing every single dungeon they found, and when they decided it's getting boring, the began to hunt players, until they decided that it's also boring and go back to clearing dungeons.

It has been two years since the beginning of the death game and the guild's creation. During the timeframe, Wild Hunt had established itself a name among the big-named guilds, whether famous or notorious. Most players who have heard and encountered this guild always described them as a "pure chaos", since they didn't align themselves with anyone, not for too long at least. They have no problem making a truce with a red guild today and be crossing swords against them on the next day. True, they do honor their words. It's just that since some of the guilds are in rivalries with each other, and Wild Hunt had "accidentally" allied themselves with a rival guild of a guild that they turned into ally on the previous day, prompting the guild to think that they betrayed them. They always walked out unscathed, though, either winning or executing a perfect escape. Either way, they had made the message clear: "Don't fuck with Wild Hunt, or Wild Hunt will fuck with you."

Of course, establishing their names also meant they have the level high enough to back it up. As such, the members of the guild, still composed only of the original five, numbered their levels in the hundreds now, and already reached the 90th floor, along with several members. They are accounted among the frontliner guilds. With only ten floors separating them with their freedom, their leader ordered them to get even stronger, to do anything, as long as they can defeat Kayaba.

Emblem(optional):
Image

Trademarks(optional): Nothing, except for the fact that they are mostly like a party that always rove around the floors, clearing dungeons, hunting monsters, and the occasional PK stuff, rather than being a guild. Perhaps have something to do with them being formed of a group of close friends.

Theme Song(optional): When the whole squad is online

Required Information

Name: Zaki Rifai

Username: Zai

Sex: Male

Character Level: 110

Age and Origin: 19. Born in Indonesia and live as an Indonesian for all his life. Hailed from the place nicknamed as the "Oil Well of Indonesia", Riau Province, specifically in a town called Pekanbaru.

Picture Appearance:
Image

Character Skill:

- Adrenaline: A passive ability that makes the user get stronger along with the amount of damage he/she received. The more hit the user took, the stronger his attack damage become. It has a duration, and will expires if the player did not engage in a clash after a fixed amount of time. The thing is, there's a drawback for this skill. True to the name, it basically feeds off the excitement you have from battle. And the more "excited" the user become, their heartbeat rate will increase. Some players even got heart attack due to this skill in the middle of battle. It's like a double-edged knife for players, especially for PK-ers.

- One-Handed Sword

- Two-Handed Straight Sword

Height, Weight, Body Type: 179 cm, 63 kg, and ectomorphic, though it was more like slightly athletic with a touch of skinny.

Equipment:

- God's Beheader: The upgraded variant of his previous sword, Dragon's Beheader. A black, huge (as in, HUGE), two-handed greatsword (shown in the In-game Appearance). It was made by a friend of his, the same friend who made the Dragon's Beheader, who had quite excellent Blacksmithing skills, after he gave him the necessary materials in-game. Despite the size, his STR build - along with his unconventional and dangerous Adrenaline skill - allowed him to swing the sword with ease, without lacking the speed. Named like so in hopes of being capable to behead the "God" of this game.

- Archenemy Armor: An upgraded version of his previous armor, the Dark Berserker's Armor. A Player-made set of black-colored armor, crafted from rare monster-drop materials. Has a high durability and DEF stats, but requires a high amount of STR to wear it. Fortunately, Zai has the right requirements. His Adrenaline allowed him to move around in this armor without lacking speed either. Named like so in hopes to make him able to become the Archenemy of "God", so that he may withstand him.

Character Bio:
Since he was a kid, he already became a huge fan of games. It was a neighbor's son, a little kid named Kevin, that got him hooked on video games. Since then, every single free time they both had would always be spent on gaming. They grew up like that, and become best buds, and rivals, both in-game and in real world.

He came from a middle-class family, so he never have a gaming console of his own, always ended up on playing at the neighbor's - his best friend's - house. Despite that, compared to Kevin, who has the capability to own every gaming console (the kind that he dubbed as "casual gamer"), he was more of a "gifted gamer", or so Kevin dubbed him. Hand him any console and any game, he'll figure it out within minutes, and own the game. PlayStation, XBox, PC, ask him to play anything and he'll play it.

When the NerveGear came out, marking the new era of VRMMORPG, he and Kevin already graduated from high school. He brought up the subject of NerveGear, to which Kevin simply waved it off, saying "only richfags can buy them.", when suddenly Zaki walked in into his room, discovering that he already has a set of NerveGear. Zaki commented, "speak for yourself, richfag.", to which they both share a hearty laugh over.

A week later, both of them, along with three friends from their high school, are on a flight to Japan. All of them have their minds set on college - which Zaki afforded through a scholarship system that he barely got in, through some twist of luck. After finding a good place for them to crash during their college years, they immediately bought a set of NerveGear (which they recognized to be cheaper than the ones they would have ordered from their home country), and a copy of the game Sword Art Online, for each of them. Itching to test this game out before the college year starts, Zaki, Kevin, and their three friends logged in (they were literally saying "Link Start" together).

They had fun. They grind, cleared dungeons, and do stuff.

Until the death game starts.

Kevin and Zaki was kind of unnerved, despite knowing that they both can be compared to expert gamers, the whole life-and-death situation is kind of off-putting. The other three, well, let's just say that they almost had a mental breakdown. Kevin almost got one, too, seeing them like that. Were it not for Zaki to scream out "listen up, faggots!" to them, they would never calm down. He made a speech to calm them and lift their mood. He said that he knew they were good gamers, but they need to calm down. If they want to survive, they have to do this together. And do they exactly do that? Of course, the answer is "make a guild".

And so, the first formation of the guild "Wild Hunt" is formed, with Zaki "Zai" Rivai to lead them, Kevin "Vin" Putra at his side, and Arman "Afa" Fadil, Resta "Rei" Ivanka, and Panji "PPD" Putra Darma as the members.

Together, they swear to watch each others' back, to never let any of them went away, and to end this game. Zai build his persona as a "Blood Knight", a kind of player that live for the sake of battles alone, to make sure no one would dare to cross any member of the Wild Hunt. This is the first time that he actually played a game for a purpose, and it makes him filled with determination.

It has been two years since the beginning of the death game and the guild's creation. During the timeframe, he had made Wild Hunt established itself a name among the big-named guilds, whether famous or notorious. Most players who have heard and encountered this guild always described them and their leader as a "pure chaos", since they didn't align themselves with anyone, not for too long at least.

Of course, establishing their names also meant they have the level high enough to back it up, courtesy of Zai's constant pushing and Vin's strategy-making. As such, the members of the guild, still composed only of the original five, numbered their levels in the hundreds now, and already reached the 90th floor, along with several members. They are accounted among the frontliner guilds. With only ten floors separating them with their freedom, Zai ordered them to get even stronger, to do anything, as long as they can defeat Kayaba.

RP Example:
- Watchers
- Oh, this is one of my personal best.
- My own RP.

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Sarcastic and a bit witty. He has a dry and vulgar sense of humor. He also enjoys battles a lot, be it a PvP or PvM. Imagine if Subject 16 is merged with Guts, only without revenge and strug-life. He also uses swear-words occasionally.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (does not give a shit about anything, because all he cares about is that he got to play the game, despite also expressing desire to defeat the final boss and let his friends out from this game.)

Theme Song: It's too big to be called a theme song. Too big, too thick, too heavy and too rough.

Application

Required Information

Name: ける まこと/Keru Makoto/Makoto Keru(for those of you who want his first name to be first)

Username: Vashiel

Sex: Male

Character Level: 105

Age and Origin: 19, born in Tokyo

Picture Appearance:
Image
You see that chocolate? That is his precious. Do not take the chocolate away.

Character Skill: Cannot be harmed by other players.

Height, Weight, Body Type: About 5'7", weighs 143 pounds--has lost some weight due to illness, although it's less obvious in the game--and ectomorphic

Equipment: He has multiple main sword choices--this, this, and this. Which one he uses really depends on his mood at the time. As for the armor, I couldn't find the perfect picture, but it's kind of like this. The main color is white, with gold as the secondary color and red as the tertiary. He usually wears a white cloak when he's not fighting.

Character Bio: His name is Keru Makoto, also known as Vashiel. He is one of the few people Akihiko Kayaba cares about. He is one of the only people who knew the true nature of Sword Art Online before logging into the game. He is also a bedridden teenager who has more chance of dying of cancer than of dying in the game.

You see, his father was good friends with Kayaba, and Makoto was always rather fascinated with Kayaba's work, especially in the field of virtual reality. In explaining his work, Kayaba grew rather fond of the boy, and the two shared a close bond.

Unfortunately, Makoto contracted leukemia shortly before Sword Art Online was released. Despite that, he was so excited to try it out for real, having been one of the beta testers. (He may even have met Dremo. Who knows?) But Kayaba didn't want him to play the actual game, seeing as it could kill him. He told this to the boy in strict confidence, asking him not to play and risk his life that way.

Makoto just pointed out that if he was going to die, he would rather die in a video game, quick and relatively painless, than wither away from cancer, suffer, and finally die. Sword Art Online would take the pain of his illness away, and maybe when he awoke he would have already been cured. Faced by the idea of placing the boy in a world where he wasn't wracked by disease or pain, a world where he could live freely until his illness was defeated, Kayaba relented. But on one condition.

Makoto had to accept a special skill--that no other players could harm him. He was still vulnerable to being killed by the game itself, but red players or infighting would be of no concern to him. Despite feeling that it gave him a bit of an unfair advantage, Makoto accepted, and fell into a world where he could stand tall and be free of his pain, as Vashiel.

Not a lot of particularly important things happened to him in-game, although he was invited to be part of the Knights of the Blood Oath by Heathcliff himself, for obvious reasons. He refused, however, on the grounds that it would be 'too painful' to join a guild. (Heathcliff understood.) He does, however, occasionally help them out on matters of importance, like this serial killer thing.

RP Example: LOL. Look in the IC, boy.

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Writing personalities never works out like I want it to. So I'm not doing this.

Application

Required Information

Name: あいさめ えいり/Aisame Eiri/Eiri Aisame

Username: Lenore

Sex: Female

Character Level: 117

Age and Origin: 16, born in Kyoto

Picture Appearance:
Image

Character Skill: Revenge--she is able to activate a 'berserker mode' of sorts in which she feels no pain whatsoever, and can take massive damage. Once she reverts back to her normal state(she can last five minutes at most), she strikes the enemy with a blow that deals the same amount of damage she took during her painlessness. However, as soon as that blow is dealt, all of the pain she would have felt hits her at once, and would completely incapacitate her if not for her constant partner in battle.

Height, Weight, Body Type: 4'11"(she is very smol), 108 lbs, ectomorphic

Equipment: This sword, and a paladin's uniform.

Character Bio: As the younger sister of the paladin known as Revenant, Eiri had a harsh life. Living with a sadistic older brother who treated everyone around him as toys, she could do nothing but isolate herself in hopes that he would leave her alone. Unfortunately, since she was small and weak, she was an easy target. At first, all she had to face was humiliation, but as time went on and Revenant's sadism grew more apparent, she was subjected to more and more until eventually her mind could no longer take it.

She broke.

No longer a source of entertainment but simply a tool for her brother, she continued through life hollow and unaware of any sort of happiness. She did whatever she was told without argument or complaint, the only thing she looked forward to being the black emptiness of sleep, and the even blacker oblivion of death.

Then came Sword Art Online.

Brought into the game by her brother, she became one of the Dark Paladins along with him, and quickly became a useful weapon. Despite her small stature, she could be quite fierce when she was told to be, and thus was a great asset to the guild. Deceivingly innocent in appearance and deadly in nature, she was a perfect tool.

She still waits to die.

RP Example: ...IC.

Obviously the one on the right.

Character Skill: Genesis--an advanced form of 'first aid', you might say. Able to provide minor healing for all allies within a ten-foot radius, or major healing for a single person. Not the most useful skill for a paladin? Nonsense. Even paladins get hurt.

Height, Weight, Body Type: 5'7", 137 lbs, ectomorphic

Equipment: This blade. Paladin's uniform.

Character Bio: Before the game, Kai lived a relatively good life. It was also relatively uneventful. We don't care about that.

When things got interesting is when Sword Art Online happened. Shortly after the beginning of the game and the shocking announcement, he ran into a little blonde girl who called herself Lenore... and who had something deeply wrong with her. Following the girl to her guild, he joined up under the pretense of being interested in the guild itself, though what he truly wanted to know was what had happened to turn the girl into the shell she was. He became her unofficial protector, and once he found out the truth that resolve only became deeper.

Too bad for him that her older brother was always watching, otherwise he would have killed the other boy right away. Still, he waits for the opportunity to dispose of Revenant, and he waits for the day that he will finally see Lenore smile.

RP Example: IC.

Application

Required Information

Name: Anthea Mylonas

Username: Persephone

Sex: Female

Character Level: 120

Age and Origin: 19, born in Kurume to a Greek father and Japanese mother

Picture Appearance:
Image

Character Skill: Fury--Depending on her health level, she has two 'ultimate attacks', you could say. If her HP is above 50%, Fury takes the form of an illusionary, heavily armored female figure above the battlefield, who will drop a collection of massive swords. Most of them will rain down at the enemy, but it is entirely possible for them to hit Persephone or allies. If her HP is below 50%, Fury consists of her sword beginning to glow red, after which she can perform a single attack upon an enemy(missing the enemy does not dispel the effect--it only dissipates if her sword strikes her foe). The power of the attack is not set, but scales with her current HP, becoming stronger the lower her health gets. If her health is exactly 50%, well, she's screwed.

Height, Weight, Body Type: 5'11", 150 lbs, ectomorphic

Equipment: After spending ages trying to find proper images, I have decided 'screw it, it's not worth the time'. Yay for it being optional!

Character Bio: Anthea's childhood was a nice, happy one. Oh, no, I'm lying through my teeth again... Truthfully, her father walked out on her mother shortly after Anthea's birth. Anthea's mother irrationally blamed her daughter for the abandonment, and as Anthea grew older she became subjected to physical and psychological abuse. This scarred Anthea in more ways than one, and she learned to cope by treating life as if it was little more than a sick joke. Black comedy became her default, and though she still had standards as to what she would or would not joke about, there was little that she wouldn't find a way to turn into dark humor. Although this wasn't the greatest way to deal with the problem, it kept her from completely breaking down, though bouts of depression still found their way to her. However, Sword Art Online presented the opportunity of escaping, an opportunity which she took gleefully. Even after the announcement of the true nature of the game, she stayed cool and collected, her only real reaction being to make an offhand joke. The rest of the game progressed in similar fashion, and as she continued to progress, she began to have a bit of a reputation. There was Noblemind, the girl who was so crazy that she killed without caring at all, and then there was this girl. Persephone. Named after the Greek queen of the underworld. A girl who seemed no stranger to death and darkness, yet seeming relatively stable other than her constant flippancy even in the face of massacre. Perhaps her username was a fitting one after all.

RP Example: ...Please.

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Screw that.

Moral Alignment: Neutral Snark

Theme Song: General theme, fight theme
