The Olympic Games imply that as long as an athlete,
Does the very best and follows the Charter to the letter,
That said athlete will have the chance to compete!
It's not something that should be voided, not without cause,
Which, in quite a few cases you have none,
And since you decided to take your reckless path,
We will not forget. We will do whatever it legally takes to get Justice,
Long after these Olympics are over,
We, the fans, will get Justice,
We will collect damages and show the rest of the World your true face
We will win!

You can certainly hope, but it's a bit hard to be truly competitive in events where the best athletes are excluded due to the actions of the pricks of WADA. Reminds me of an excellent movie:These scholarships--

It's what awaits WADA. And Russia might not be the biggest economy, but it's sure a much bigger economy than the support you can ever hope to muster.

And to those who win athletics medals, especially in certain events, is there a point in celebrating second best? Because, as another great American, Dale Earnheardt, said: Second place is just the first place loser.
Other than that, let's all have a great Olympics! Just don't swim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6NbyczFveg

Remember, enforcing anti-doping rules is bad.

Seven years worth of time to clean all of the trash and litter up is no excuse for this dumpster of an Olympic venue. Brazil really needed to organize better, cause that water is still not fixed, with sewage, feces, litter, and even dead bodies. The IOC should cancel rowing altogether. I'm more to looking forward to Tokyo 2020 overall instead of Brazil's incurring problems.

Generally speaking, you enforce the rules against people who actually break them. I understand that it's a complex concept, but it's probably how the rule of law should work. Collective punishment is bad. Unless, of course, you're for punishing all BLM members for the actions of a few of their leaders. Shall I get the relevant quotes? Or are you just being hypocritical? Because hey, if you're for collective punishment, why not ban all refugee Muslim males from all German cities during the New Year's Holiday?Outer Sparta wrote:Yucky so far in Brasil. TBQH, the biggest factor for me is the water. I would not want to be a marathon swimmer at these Olympics.
