A Syrian man denied asylum in Germany blew up an explosive device outside of a music festival in the town of Ansbach, Germany. It is unknown whether it was an intentional suicide bombing or not, but thankfully, no one except for the attacker was killed. He had been turned away from entering the festival. at the risk of repeating what the OP said, we're not sure if he was an islamist or just an asshole that decided to kill himself in the flashiest way possible. authorities said they're not sure if he actually wanted to kill anyone else, but i'm really really skeptical of that.

Very happy that he only killed himself, hopefully everyone else makes a full recovery. On to your main point, it's seeming more and more like Islam is incompatable with Europe, the terrorists cause chaos, the Europeans increasing lash back, and the Muslims there more and more start to either lash back themselves or lose their own freedoms. It is a sad state of affairs and won't get better until these attacks are able to be stopped,and it doesn't look like that is happening at any point.

making bombs isn't as hard as one would think, but it's still difficult for a single person to manufacture a potent one that they can hide on their person, and you'd need at least some experience making em to do so within a good time frame.
I mean, it's possible. Making makeshift bombs is a living for a lot of folks in Syria, so it's not beyond imagining that some folks seeking asylum would have a working knowledge of such.
Still, I hate to say it, but jumping the Islam gun in this instance isn't as bad as it is most times.
