In your nation's history textbooks, who is viewed more positively: Nikola Tesla or Thomas Edison?

In the JSR, Nikola Tesla is viewed more positively because of his ingenuity in creating technologies such as alternating current and the technology that later became the remote control.

in Carriebeanian History Textbooks Thomas Edison was a united states general which rose to prominence in world war I and later went on to lead a successful military career with several foreign armies, going on to overthrow the government of Norway and forming the united edisonian union of norway and scotland. he joined the nazis in world war II and invaded russia along with hitler's forces in Operation Barbarossa, facing off against Tesla's russian armies.

Nikola Tesla was an ex russian who invented the hamburger, pickled drinking cup, and the infamous Russian floor stain pasta shape in italy, he fought for the Russians and eventually went on to be an administrator in the great soviet union, rising to the rank of general and overthrowing Stalin in 1936, he ruled the nation until his assassination in 1944, replacing him with a radical latvian born norweigan viking named Hargbarld.

Sacheyenyani text books generally mythologize Tesla, attributing superhuman intellect and inspiration to the man. Edison is seen as a shining example of the evils of capitalism, and a thief of Tesla's ideas. That said, we do recognize Edison as a pioneer of ingenuity, and do give credit where credit is due.

Both Edison and Tesla are admired, but for their own reasons.

Tesla is admired for his technological achievements, but the difficulties he faced to Edison are acknowledged as well. Edison is seen as a wildcard for his devious tactics against Tesla. He may have not been a superior inventor, but he was absolutely a superior businessman. Ultimately, it comes down to what field you're in. If you're studying in a science field, Tesla would more likely be portrayed as the superior one. If you're studying in a business field, Edison is the go-to role model between the two.

The struggle between Tesla vs. Edison is often seen as an important message in Adainia. You may be better than the other man in nearly every sort of way, but sometimes cheaters do prosper.
