In theory it's none of my business, in practice you've no idea what distraction it may be causing others, to say nothing of embarrassment if one becomes aroused or is called out on even glancing her way.
At the very least, we shouldn't be pleading the fifth when talking about this.

to me real life scantily clad attire is a signal of the hot weather of summer.

That seems to be a pretty common theme in these discussions. Guess showing it off and calling guys out for looking isn't as hypocritical as I thought.

I figured, "if she's so shy, how is she proud enough of her legs to show them off to everyone?"
Of course, even within my interpretation of the show itself I was missing some context; apparently said skirts were, in the show, part of some school uniform. But that's beside the point.
But looking back on that again as of this thread, the "I'm only dressing this way because it's warm out" claim seems to be said so often that at the very least it can't ALWAYS be a charade. At the very least, there is more to how much skin you show than how proud you are of whatever you think you're showing off.
But suppose there is some outdoor temperature at which two different options that show different amounts of skin would be considered equally comfortable? What other factors do you figure enter into the decision of how much skin to show?

And who gets to say where to draw the line between a stare and a non-stare?
Personally, I've never glanced long enough to be called out, but I bet some guys might expect a second or two to be appropriate based on experience with those who happen to find him attractive.
