These beasts, told in tales passed down for generations, strike terror, wonder, and allure into millions of humans annually. But everyone knows they're just stories, right?

At the advent of the 20th Century, facing risk of discovery from new technologies such as cameras, the monsters and cryptids of the world decided to come together, fleeing to a sleepy town on the coast of Maine, known as Brittleberry. Here, employing powerful magic, each and every monster and myth would be transformed into the most unassuming creature possible: A normal high-school student. Now, it is up to the myths that call Brittleberry home to avoid conspiracy theorists, military action, and violent monsters......while trying to pass chemistry.

THE ACADEMY
Cryptus Academy is a relatively large, elegant complex, containing all the latest amenities and equipment required for an effective academic record. While many powers of the students and faculty are contained within their mortal bodies, there are several accommodations for special subjects. These include but are not limited to a maximum-security detention center, very climb-able/perch-able rafters, and a frame made of the hardest material known to man. No expense was spared.
