In Japanese- "Good day sirs. I am Juan Montoya, Director of National Security for Columbia. I welcome you all. The President sent me to take you to the capital. We're less than a days travel to Bogotá. I have horses ready for everyone."
He motions to a number of horses that are already saddled and ready to go. The three soldiers move aside for the guests to select their horses to ride to the capital on.

Columbian Technocracy wrote:Juan Montoya- "Thank you sir. It is my pleasure. And we are savages when compared to your peoples long, rich culture. The President hopes by inviting other cultures to our land, we as a people will learn and grow from the experience. Simply by stepping off that ship sir, you've opened the eyes of so many of our men and women. Something that they will never forget. If anything, we thank you for honoring us with the experience."
Juan Montoya swiftly mounts his horse as if he was born on horseback. Looking to Ryoma...
Juan Montoya- "These are the fastest horses from my ranch. They will get us there quickly. The saddle bags all have water and food in them should anyone be thirsty or hungry. And I took it upon myself to put in some Montoya Cigars that my wife made recently."
He spurs the horse and it rears up excitedly and then takes off like a bolt of lightning.

Ryoma follows suit. Ryoma looks at the towns nearby as they pass them and marvels at the technology of the foreigners. "Gods, the buildings are so different from ours. I believed that our tech was advanced. I was surely mistaken,"

Ruthena wrote:Emperor Alexander is struck by the beauty of the elegantly made twin, golden plated, pearl gripped Model 1900 handguns. The flags of the great nations of Ruthena and the Columbian Technocracy are a wonderful touch too. The President's daughter is certainly a good gunsmith, being able to wow the Emperor of a nation that breathes guns with her skill.
"Geez, these are some the best looking pistols I have ever seen. I mean, these are just beautifully made," The Emperor sounds giddy, like a little kid that just got his favorite toy on Christmas or his Birthday.
"You tell whoever made these guns, that I wish the gunsmiths back in Ruthena had skill like this," He says as he gently touches the Ruthen flag that has been beautifully etched into the pearl grips. The Emperor's statement is quite powerful, the Empire of Ruthena has military deeply embedded into it's culture. While the nation still maintains a very rich and vibrant culture, weapons and war are entrenched in it, thus, several of Ruthena's grand works of art, are in fact, weapons that have been beautifully made, such as the duel pistols the Emperor is holding in his sands. While the pistols are simple, they are very elegant, and to be giving a compliment such as that from the Emperor, is quite the feat.
"I hope our gift to you isn't overshadowed by these magnificent pistols," The Emperor remarks as he closes the box the pistols lay in and hands it to one of his guards, who in turn hands the Emperor a Winchester Model 1895. The favored gun of the Cavalryman in Ruthena, and the elite Sabraguards, the Winchester Model 1895 is Winchester's first lever action repeating rifle that can load box magazine, allowing it to be used by the Ruthen Armed Forces. This gun in particular is plated in silver and features a similar art feature as the pistols. On one side, the flags of Ruthena and the Columbian Technocracy are seen crossed, with the date and place etched under it. On the other side it features a well drawn depiction of the rainforest covered mountains of Columbia. The Emperor presents the rifle to the President with a smile on his face, and the Sabraguard behind him holds a very large wooden box of .30-40 Krag ammunition.
