That's what I mean when I say that this doesn't just affect your citizens. This isn't just an internal matter. What your leaders and forum administrators are allowing affects many people who don't exist exclusively in Grand Central, and Osiris will not stand for mistreatment of our citizens by Grand Central. Neither should any other region.
I was never aware she was there. I've made it clear how I feel about the matter. I was removed from DEN, and left NS because of my horrific actions. I've done terrible shit on NS. I'm not proud of it. The sexual harassment? Betraying a friend and deliberately hurting her is not something I just take in stride. I fucked up, I'm a predator, a monster, I'm everything you claim I am. I hurt an innocent girl, a friend out of my own selfish desires. I don't want to be forgiven or given a pity party. I just want to move on and try to prevent this sort of shit from happening again. Yet no matter who long I stay off or where I go I'm driven away? How do I change and become a better person if I'm treated with scorn?
Here we have a player admitting, on-site, that he has sexually harassed another player off-site. He refers to himself as "a predator, a monster." He has made this admission in response to a post in which no allegations of harassment were made against him, due to the inadmissibility of off-site evidence for on-site allegations of wrongdoing.
Moderation has said again and again that off-site evidence is inadmissible on-site because it can't be verified to be true in the same way that Moderation can verify on-site reports. IRC logs can be faked. Screen shots of off-site forum posts and Skype chats can be doctored. As much as many of us don't like it, we do understand it and most of us have accepted it. But here we have an exceptionally rare circumstance of a NationStates player admitting on-site that he engaged in sexual harassment of another NationStates player off-site. Surely, under this rare circumstance, his admission of off-site wrongdoing is now admissible on-site. Surely Moderation can now act to protect other NationStates players from him; evidence is not needed, he has admitted it. There is no need to verify what has been voluntarily confessed.
Thank you for your consideration of this report.
