Port City, Dukaine Province, New Dukaine, 13:35 Dukainese time (CDT)

The Prime minister of New Dukaine, Minaga Bora, sits in his office in the capital, Port City. He is holding a stamp while looking over a parliament passed law.

"Abortions banned? No."

He stamps it and the word "Veto" can be seen in red ink. He then passes the law over back to his aide, who takes it downstairs.

"Wow, today has been a very long day. I need some fresh air."

He opens the window for some air. He then starts hearing chants. He looks out the window

"Oh, it's just those annoying anti-government protests outside of the city. I'll just sit back, and just relax and watch my soap operas."

He then starts hearing faint shots and a whiz of a chopper. He then starts to take an extra look out the window to see if anything has gone out of sorts.

"I must be seeing things. This has not happened since the South New Dukaine Revolution"

Then the minister of defense rushes in like the wind and starts hyperventilating very loudly. Minaga asked him if he is okay.

"No..*pant*...I just...*pant*....Saw the worst....*pant*.... thing that you will ever think...*pant...*......The peoples republic of Dukaine.....*pant*...... are 50 miles out....*pant*."

He then passes out, and you start becoming worried about what is happening abroad.

50 miles out, Minaga thinks. Thats NEW DUKAINE CITY! OH GOD! THATS THE SECOND LARGEST CITY! THEY CANT CAPTURE THAT!!!

He then starts to get on the telephone.

You, the leader of your own nation, pick up the telephone. You see that it has a New Dukaine caller ID. The number is 65-7777-17845. You know from your phone book it is the prime minister, so you decide to press the green "accept" button. You put it on speaker so your cabinet can hear the words.

"Hello?"
"Please help! Send troops! We are being invaded! This isn't a joke!"
"Woah woah, Tell us what is going on"
"Its The Peoples Republic Of Dukaine, The country we succeeded from, they didn't care originally. Now they are invading! They are 50 miles out of Port City. Send troops NOW!!!"

He hangs up. You and your cabinet (or whatever your aides are) stand in shock. You start talking and debating on which side to support. It's now or never.

Though I'm quite concerned on how Vols' forces arrived so quickly.

To be fair, if the border is anything similar to nk and sk then there might just be stalemate without outside intervention, so a time jump of a few days ICly wouldn't be entirely out of the logic. Though I still wonder why so many people use landing craft for deploying troops on friendly territory. Simply docking would be faster I would think.

Perhaps though time jumps, in my experience, are usually issued by the OP if there like a week or more. Unless the nation is placed near the region of conflict We'll wait for Dukaine I guess... Now I should make a post determining which side.

@Flowrisa, while this is not against this RPs rules one line RP is both simply boring and difficult to RP with but is also highly frowned upon here, for the previously stated reasons and a few more.Not only that but as you do one-liners then you begin to move to the realm of quantity of quality which destroys the entirety of the RP. Additionally 200 ships is ridiculous, I am deploying ~20 ships, a little higher than my normal battlegroup size, to do the naval fighting. Not only are you asking for your ships to be slaughtered but it is number wanking plain and simple. Thirdly, you simply said:

a fleet of around 200 Warships is headed to attack the People's Republic with 12,000 soldiers. The fleet lands in the People's republic and begins an invasion.

Now, first off no one has any idea where in the People's republic you landed forces. Secondly you have not only the native defenders navy to get past but also this:

You would have to fight through both of those naval forces plus kill the newly landed army group. Quite simply no. It is blatant god-moding, even if it is unintentional. Now, I recommend you take a look at this and read all of the linked articles within it.


Now, by no means do I mean to be rude, but to improve your RP skills, for all involved, you must be aware of your flaws so that you can strive to fix them and improve your skills over all.
