A few weeks ago, in a small village, Bridgehaven, on the island of Liberta, there was an invasion. Over 200 men and women were killed in this mass murder, which ended up in a group taking over the town. Survivors say the men leading this invasion claimed to be members of The Workers' Party of Cie, a new organization who had been gaining support quick, due to the fact that they claimed to be fighting for the poor and helpless. 10 men returned from this takeover and admitted to taking part in it, saying it is only the beginning of a revolution. They now sit awaiting trial.

Now, the entire island of Liberta is under WPC control. There, Antony Moretti, leader of the party-turned-army and former Northern Ciean general, imposes his harsh regime over the island, forcing able-bodied men to pick up a gun and fight for the revolution. The Republic of Northern Cie has tried to retake its island province, but with Moretti's military knowledge and sheer numbers, along with support from the remains of The Democratic Republic of Cie, the former country that had control over the entire island chain, the Republic cannot retake its land and fears invasion.

Therefore, the RNC needs to help of any nearby nation willing to aid it in its war against this rebellion. Any help is accepted. It would be ideal for the Republic's Army to invade Liberta, but it is assumed that the Workers' Party will be invading mainland Northern Cie within 48 hours. Send troops quickly.

The Republic's military is medium sized, with modern technology. Small numbers but skilled fighters. The WPC's military is much larger but mostly unskillful, though they have superior technology.

The RNC is also a democracy, similar to America, with more freedoms and a very free-market approach to the economy, while the WPC is communist, with a military dictator, but there is a solid amount of military prowess and better technology because of its support and smart minds.

It has been confirmed by a Republic scout that the WPC is beginning to mobilize their troops. They will be on main-land Northern Cie in roughly 6 hours. Support required as soon as possible.

Kaiserin Sophia I announced today that, in response to the threat of the uprising by the Dictatorial WPC in Northern Ciean, the Constitutional Empire of Germany would be deploying 500,000 combat troops, including armor and artillery, to defend the Northern Ciean government from attack by the WPC. No war was declared against the WPC. The Reichstag instead passed a resolution that declared support of the Northern Cieanian government and, unless voted upon, an automatic declaration of war against the WPC if they attacked Northern Ciean.

(My country is basically the United States in terms of its power. Well trained, large military. Interventionist and against Communism, despite our socialist leanings, and all forms of dictatorship.)

Some ships carry some tanks, along with other military land vehicles, if they do take the beach.

The Battle of the Beach



The battle begins with the powerful naval fleet of the WPC entering Republic waters. There to meet them in a combination of German and Ciean warships. Though the numbers of the warships are even, the WPC's ships are technologically superior, giving them the advantage over the Ciean ships. Of the 10 Ciean battleships sent out, 6 are sunk, and 4 return to closer to the beach and wait for reinforcements. The German ships, however, sustain more blows from the powerful enemy ships, and with about 30% more ships than the WPC, they are locked in a fierce battle. This cripples the initial attack, not allowing multiple naval ships to escort the landing ships.

The first wave of landing ships arrive at the beach, accompanied by one large Workers' Party battleship. The Ciean battleships are docked at this point, as the ground troops prepare for battle on the beach. The first wave of landing ships arrive, with multiple waves behind them. To the Republic troops, along with their allies, it looks endless. The machine guns are manned. Cannons are ready.

The first wave is promptly wiped out. The WPC sent out younger and more inexperienced troops out first, to test the waters. By the second wave, air battles begin between Northern Cie and generally DRC-supported planes. The second and third wave of WPC ships reach the beach, but they are still wiped out quite quickly. The WPC calls on reinforcements, which allows them 100,000 more troops to send in to the beach. Slowly, the immense numbers of the rebellion seems to wear down the RNC and its allies. By the tenth set of troops, more and more have reached far up the beach. Republic troops are forced to retreat farther and farther back. Explosions are heard across the battlefield. More and more Cieans fall. They begin to lose hope, and ask their commander, Alex Martin, if they should retreat. Martin replies with:

We will fight until every last one of you have used all the energy you have. You will fight for the liberty you take for granted. Once, when the DRC had control, we were not the free place we are today. So on this beach, we defend our liberty, and we will defend it until our dying breaths!

Even with this speech, the Republic continues to falter, despite their supremacy in combat. The Workers' Party's immense numbers and military strategy, led mostly by General Moretti, is too much for the smaller number of allied troops defending the beach.

But then the boats returned. The German boats, though facing superior technology, defeated the world-class WPC naval forces, and came to defend the beach. Taking the landing ships by surprise, they blew up a large portion of them, ending their onslaught of seemingly endless troops. The naval escort, though large and powerful, was no match for multiple German ships, and it was destroyed quickly. The air battle also seemed to be in the favor of the Cieans.

With more of a sense of hope, the ground troops of the RNC fought back against the remaining, more scared WPC troops. They began to retake the beach. With no way to escape, the WPC troops were mostly slaughtered, and the ones that weren't were now kept as prisoner. Though the Republic did secure a victory in the battle, it was at the cost of thousands upon thousands of lives, multiple ships, and a few planes. Still, though, this decisive victory allowed the RNC to plan an assault on Liberta -- and possibly succeed at taking THEIR beach, something the WPC failed to do.
