It's 500 BC. Europe is a very different place. Rome has failed to rise, and the Celts and Greeks are cementing their power across Europe, North Africa and Asia Minor. There is no dominant culture, there is no dominant states, there is just war. Swords clash daily across the continent, and peace looks like it will never come. As larger states begin to rise, land is contested more than ever, in a continent embroiled and stuck in a conflict that will define the era. Will one Empire come out on top? Or will they all perish like many others in history have?

OOC and Summary

Alrighty then lads. Apologies for the rather short introduction, but let us go over some ground rules. You can't have a too large country if you are in western or central Europe, if you are in that area a country as big as Brittany or Slovakia will be set as the maximum. To summarise, this RP is the first in a series that will continue on from the past. At this stage, expansion will be slow - as in no taking the entire British Isles in a year or two. This is spears and shields, bows and arrows, not rifles and tanks. Also just so I know you read this, in the applications there is a bit called "GUESS WHAT:", answer that with 52 so I know you didn't just apply. Empires will rise and fall, if your country gets taken over, you can always choose a new one. As the OP, I'm not sure if I want to get involved or not. I'm thinking of playing as some tiny settlement in Greenland or Iceland that just popped up outta nowhere, and because I will be irrelevant - I will be doing random events across all the countries! Yay!

From then on for an absurd reason, they believed that they were the "Chosen Ones," of a religion they created (of course, subconsciously) called Puintam. Puintam consisted of two major gods, Uppar, and Rosi, and three minor gods; Versi, Ditate, and Winot. They preached the gods' "messages," to their village, and being the gullible people they are, they believed. Fast forward 500 years, they have preached to many places, uniting as one and starting their own form of the crusades. That, was how Kalipol was formed. Now, the people have gained a certain aspect of common sense, and are realizing the religion was quite imbecilic. So, chance of protests are somewhat... there.

Although the central court is at Stranraer, there is plenty of regional autonomy and many people live simple lives, just as they did before Talanovtae.

From then on for an absurd reason, they believed that they were the "Chosen Ones," of a religion they created (of course, subconsciously) called Puintam. Puintam consisted of two major gods, Uppar, and Rosi, and three minor gods; Versi, Ditate, and Winot. They preached the gods' "messages," to their village, and being the gullible people they are, they believed. Fast forward 500 years, they have preached to many places, uniting as one and starting their own form of the crusades. That, was how Kalipol was formed. Now, the people have gained a certain aspect of common sense, and are realizing the religion was quite imbecilic. So, chance of protests are somewhat... there.
