OOC: Welcome! Here is another homofront's attack. In general I want this thread to be mostly diplomatic, although limited military action is more than welcome. Still, homofront is mostly urban guerilla group that does not have fixed targets to bomb.
It has to be noted that this is prelude to a war RP. I would be also thankful if someone who likes military stuff wrote an analysis on homofront - attempting to portray the group from strategic and tactical perspective, for I am interested how well I developed that.

Vo Ngyuen Than's international airport was a place of highest traffic, and one of most visited airports in the region. Situated in city of C`ua Can, an enormous tourist destination located on island of Dao Ba`i Thom, at the very southern tip of Annam, away from troubled provinces in the North of the Nihonse protectorate, C`ua Can became a major tourist hub in the area, famed for it's beautiful coral reefs, hot climate, beautiful women and plenty of palaces, which used to be once seats of power of now extinct Tay Son dynasty which ruled Annam until early 1900s. Among the tropical vegetation of this beautiful jungle, tourists came and went, to spread among the thousands of hotels like rats during plague, resting, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying themselves if not sleeping like sloths in their hotels.
At this moment, however, the situation was not as beautiful like travel agencies would portray. Few days ago, Vo Lan, local LGBT rights activist prominent for his fierce speeches was found in the tropical forest near his house, his lower half eaten by animals, his body mutilated and torn apart by what appeared to be - according to the police - a tiger attack. Many people however believed that what really happened was far more threatening; it was a part of gunpeitai retaliation for Homofront attack in Finberg, where several people were massacred by the group. Alongside with him 20 people, all of them somehow connected to homofront, died in recent period - though despite Vo Lan's open support for homofront, police stated that "a wild tiger ate him", "the tiger has already been found and shot" and that "they should worry not and enjoy their stay". After all, nobody wanted attention, which for sure would have scared the tourists off.
Such thoughts accompanied Florentijn Vuong as he was preparing for his strike. This was to be just another combat operation that Florentijn completed during past years... but now, he was about to prove his proficiency.
Over last two days:
When Vo Lan died, no member of his homofront cell felt safe. Apart from his usual structure - alliance Rainbow Awareness Alliance - he was, in fact, high ranked Homofront commander, running propaganda operations on area of the entire Southern Furukuran sea. Yet, no assassination came on them; it was believed that either Gunpeitai was too focused on other cells to bother about him, or hadn't smelled their scent yet. However, the Kojiro's hounds were everywhere in this part of the world and they knew that; every Nihonese could become "temporary coadjutor" because "it is unpatriotic not to help fellow Nihonese in need". With Gunpeitai possessing one of most expanded structures in the world, it was only a matter of time before they will be found and either eaten by tiger, die in car crash or some other usual, yet planned accident happens to them silencing them for good. Nihonese intelligence often made enemies of the Nihon disappear with no trace left of them. Evidently this time it wanted to send a loud message, probably to "terrorize the terrorists".
Florentijn Vuong was one of local strike cell members. Tall, 28 years old, Florentijn finished engineering at university of Ishikawa as exchange student; his fascination have always been drones, which he built en mase, something very useful to the Homofront. When his neighbors and friends looked at this young, short man with curly dark hair and white complexion - memento from his Dutch grandfather - car repairs station owner (which he used to get money to finance his education, hoping to get a high ranked post in future) no one suspected that this man was a homofront member; even his homosexuality wasn't widely known. But Florentijn was also source of the designs that homofront employed on mass scale those days; unmanned, kamikadze drones used for long range attacks - with their plans to be found on Homofront's TOR network being mostly Florentijn's design.
After the deaths however, Council of Command gave order: Kishirima was to be struck, as reminder to them that if they call themselves a free and open society, they should not support nor associate with "backwards homophobic nations" such as Nihon, and Florentjin's indirect strike cell took the initiative to carry it out. He himself devised a plan to down regional airliner operated by Kishiriman company, using one his inventions - a homemade kamikadze drone. At the same time, following the wake of that attack, another one had to happen, with use of weapon known as "Strela-Blok" - being a MANPADS with time fuse, automatically shooting at first aircraft that finds it in it's sight after the activation. By such way, homofront was to ruin the Annamese tourist industry and cause problems to the government, which would be then pressured into accepting their demands.
What followed next was detailed reconnaissance. One of Homofront's members researched all flights in the coming days and found a suitable one; a Basler BT-67 owned by Kishiriman company, flying to the Annamese capital with Kishiriman trip which would then fly back home. He reserved - on a fake name - a single place on the plane, pretending to fly there for business purposes, but had no plans of appearing.
At the same time two dual member teams went to observe the airfields; usually doing the same route. Day to day, one of them would drive in post delivery uniform, delivering to to neighboring homes, while the second member would use the vegetation to come closer and observe. Finally, after knowing the layout, the time to strike came.

And thus, the day of action came. Florentijn Voung and his 5 - man cell wished to wait no longer for the chance to strike. The five man cell broke into three man team and two man team, and headed to their separate locations; the regional airfield, from which Kishiriman owned plane was to start, and to international airport, where far larger prey was to be hunted. It took them several hours to pass through the big city, but each of them was doing their best to accomplish their objective.
First, the two man cell brought with themselves only two MANPADS they had - thus why those were in general spared, but this time the gift was worth the pay. Both MANPADS were so called "Strela - Blok", a modified 9K34 Strela-3 equipped with time fuse and meant to be camouflaged, those shoulder fired missiles would be carefully camouflaged by being placed on trees and covered with vegetation, with several claymores being placed on avenues of approach to additionally interrupt searches. Time fuse of first one was set to twelve hour, of the second one for 52 hours. Both of them were to fire on first object in their sight, using thermal guidance to hit the aircraft previously targeted. Two of them weren't noticed by any one, and simply left that night without problems.
The three man team had different plans. Their weapon was to be Florentijn's construction drone known as "HoMoHawk IV", homemade quadrocopter produced by Florentijn to prevent the intelligence agencies from seeing him in points where the drones could be bought. It was an octocopter, connected through a fiber optic cable of roughly 500 meter length to a transmitted which forwarded it through radio to the flight console. Two such drones were placed night before between the trees at the airport and just waited for order from Florentijn's crew, roughly 650 meters away, to begin. Soon, when the plane was seen preparing to start, two drones quickly started, ascended to height of 500 meters and waited there for the show to begin.
The intelligence was correct. The Kishiriman airliner was slowly beginning to start, and just as it slowly rose from the ground, two drones descended on it, each carrying roughly 2kg of C4 integrated directly in them. First one came straight from above crashing into the cockpit before detonating, while the second one took aim at the engine coming from the aircraft's own fifth hour on clock.
All the tree terrorists simply left the window of an uninhabited building after the hits would happen or miss, with calm walk not to raise suspicion; then would simply enter the car of one of them, and leave like nothing happened. An hour later the Strela - Blok would activate and target an unlucky Inyurstan airliner that had this misfortune to find itself in the MANPAD's camera that day, sending Strela - 3 straight on it.
The homofront was scoring more and more victims...
