About 24 hours after Caelestiam’s letter reached Alexis’ office, all monitors and all computer screens in Zeanobia went static for 10 seconds.
A familiar theme was heard during the static, as it cleared up Alexis Blinova was shown live sitting in her black leather chair and crossed legs in front of her chair.
One by one the whole nation stopped to watch, afterwards the announcement was leaked through the internet. (it’s assumed everyone but the most backwards nations have been able to hear her PSA one way or another, also Alexis gained a 99.9% viewer rating in Zeanobia)

Announcer: “By order of the Generalissimo. We interrupt this program to bring an important public service message”
(Alexis clears her throat)
“Comrades, friends and… (Alexis looks out of the window absentminded) others. (Alexis looks back at the camera)
It had come to my attention that not everyone outside the nation appreciates the freedom offered in Zeanobia. (Alexis takes up a letter)
"In Zeanobia, the Age of Consent is seven. Seven. Years. Old. This was implemented at the pleading of doctors. Presumably doctors who touch children during physicals. In Zeanobia, almost every form of sexual depravity is practiced so long as it is consensual. Apparently including second graders. And I don't mean the harmless stuff like feet and handcuffing and the like. Bestiality. Necrophilia. Pedophilia." (Alexis drops the letter on her desk, she looked annoyed for a moment and took a glass of water)
As any of you who studied Zeanobian history more than 2nd grade know, if it weren’t for our dear doctors. There won’t be an age of consent. I honor our productive doctors for caring of our young.
Furthermore, I’d like to remind you all that necrophilia is not on the official list of approved paraphilia.
(Alexis shuffles throw a green book titled “Do’s and don’ts with your partner (April, 2016)”
“Necrophilia is not tolerated within Zeanobian borders; a dead person has no way of speaking his or her mind and are thus incapable of giving consent. As no consent can be made, necrophilia does not invoke freedom of act”
Until I see a zombie asking me to sleep with him, I see no reason to amend this ruling. (Alexis looks around her office and then chuckles. She drops her book and picks up the letter)
Rest assured that rape and other crimes are illegal and punishable by law, can we get the list of predators up? (a list of caught rapists is shown in the bottom on the screen in alphabetic order). Remember the rule: If you don’t get consent, you’re a criminal, if somebody gets hurt, you’re a criminal. Always ask for permission, no means no.
There are foreign powers who wishes to destroy the equality we created, people who wants the rich to suppress the poor. But as a great man once said: “The rich will do anything for the poor but get off their backs.” In capitalist societies, only the wealthy 2% has anything to say, they take money for themselves and uses their power to make more money at the cost of the rest 98%. Then they go to their so precious church to get some opium shouted at their face. But where is the common man? He slaves for wealthy man until he dies.
(final name of rapist shows up)
Finally, I’d like to publicly thank my life guards, they’re the Secret Service of Zeanobia, where would I be without them? (the death squad bows respectfully)

Because of geographic advantage (Zeanobia is in Scandinavia) Alexis could easily order a mass propaganda. Having studied intelligence reports, she's aware that while the military force of Fascistisk State clearly outmatch Zeanobia. They in turn are much more liberated.

She offered Fascistisk State's citizens a deal any person who's willing to betray their home country will be welcome in Zeanobia.

For the rest of the day tiny airplanes had been shouting pro-zeanobian propaganda all over Fascistisk State. As their only purpose was to spread propaganda Alexis could save money on everything that would make the planes stand out. When silent there was no difference from average airplanes.

Because of the average look of the planes in every other country it looked like they only shot their own planes. Alexis Blinova has already sold Fascistisk State out to WA for shooting at it's own people.

The hundreds of ex-Swedish who just arrived was treated with extra care and only had to prove their loyalty to enter. Even though the civil war was shut down, the Zeanobian propaganda reported success: severing the Swedish nationalism.

All international news now condemn Fascistisk State for war crimes.

TENSIONS RISE BETWEEN SENATE AND ZEANOBIA

oppressive brutes." This comes after rising anti-Zeanobian sentiment among the public over their famously permissive consent laws - which go so far as to allow sex with minors and animals - as well as concerns over a lack of freedom of speech. The High Senator, Severus Aquilinus Caelinus, called Zeanobia a "disgrace", saying that its government were a "gang of bloody criminals run by a pornstar. They're either malicious or dangerously incompetent. Perhaps both."

This is not the first time Zeanobian government policy has come into question - only last year, amidst a popular boycott movement, a coalition of prominent Aerion businesspeople refused to engage in any form of trade with the nation, stating that their actions were "merely a reflection of the duty of all Aerion citizens to shun barbarism at every opportunity."

Their words have today been echoed by the Senate, who released an official statement just hours ago, saying that they "would not tolerate such a blatant lack of civilisation, and would, if necessary, take action against the savages who have somehow managed to gain power." The issuing of this strongly-worded condemnation was the result of a unanimous agreement among the Senators - something not seen since 1939 - that New Aerios must make its position on the matter of Zeanobian policy clear. The movement was spearheaded by recent addition to the Senate, Valeria Herminia, who has so far dedicated her four months of service to tirelessly campaigning against similarly barbaric laws in numerous other nations. She made her personal views known today, stating in an interview: "I'm glad I was able to persuade the Senate to speak out. New Aerios is a liberal - no, libertarian - nation, but there are some things which just cannot be permitted. Minors and animals cannot consent. That is not a matter for debate. To claim they can is dishonest and malicious."

Concerns were also raised over the alleged role of propaganda in Zeanobian schools, with reports of lessons being tailored to indoctrinate schoolchildren with nationalist views, and dissenting opinions being quickly suppressed. This treatment is allegedly also extended to immigrants - although who would want to enter Zeanobia of their own accord we do not know - who are forced to surrender every aspect of their cultural identity at the border, and become nothing more than mindless slaves to the Zeanobian state, on pain of being ruthlessly exterminated by a special unit of notorious war criminals known only as the 'Death Squad'.

New Aerios is not the only nation to express these sentiments, of course, our country having today entered into an alliance known as the Caspian League, a group comprised of fellow nations determined to put pressure on the Zeanobian government and force them to change their ways. Our reporters say there are already whispers of potential military action, those plans in place as a last resort if diplomatic and economic measures fail to sway Zeanobia. We hope it doesn't come to that, of course, but if Zeanobia wants a fight, the Legions of New Aerios will certainly give them one they won't forget.

OOC: A little bit of talk-show stuff. Not everything is going to be 100% relevant to Thread but the general theme is the Zeanobia/League/Solution conflict. With a little bit of personal opinion, digression, unprofessional thoughts on the matter, a dab of humor, and an in-joke at the end that only Zaurell and I, and maybe Fascistisk, would get. Less professional, more character-buildy. *Shrug.* I don't know. I also don't even know how to make a newspaper article like New Aerios did so flawlessly. Props to whomever designed that header, mate. Aerios is a badass. But anyway, this was the best I could scrounge. Hope it works!

"Ladies and Gentlemen. For you I have a pair of very special guests tonight. I'll admit I was surprised when I got the emails from them saying they wanted to appear together. You might be aware of all the chaos permeating the Kingdom's Twittersphere recently and so, for their bravery, I would like you all to give a VERY hearty round of applause for our King Mathias Andouin, and Sophitia Larane!"

The cameras focus on the left of the stage. A male, human in appearance, with a body tall and muscular clothed in a dark blue business suit. Most remarkable seemed to be his slightly pointed ears, green eyes, and long brown hair. He straightened his red, silk tie and waved courteously to the audience as he walked over to the couch adjacent to the host's desk. Behind him walked the second guest, a dragoness with sky blue scales, indigo scales down her middle, and soft purple "hair." Her plump body (a subject of contention among Caelestiam's wealthier, more easily bored citizens) was clothed in a long, scarlet evening dress and adorned with fairly classy golden jewelry. She too took a seat on the guest couch, sitting next to the King.

Ardanse: "I'd like to thank you both for joining us this evening, I assure you we've got a lot of things to talk about tonight. Any opening remarks?"
Mathias: "I'd prefer to start with the most important topic that's come up recently."
Sophitia: "As much as we'd like to live up to the spirit of the show and goof off with the audience, there are some very serious things that I have gotten myself involved in, thank you Twitter.

There is a brief applause.

Ardanse: "Yes, yes. The whole 'Caspian League, Zeanobia, and the Third Solution, Oh My."
Mathias: "Indeed. A lot of people have been DM'ing me and other members of the Council recently, asking us, 'Holy crap, are we at war? Are we going to die? Who's going to get blown the f*** out?' That having been said, I think it's only responsible that I tell the truth, and the full truth. We are not at war. However things are tense with Zeanobia and recently the Third Solution that the formation of the Caspian League unwittingly attracted to the fray. When I issued that statement a while back, I'll admit I was in the dark on some things. I was unaware that I would be attracting the very tumors I made quiet mention of in the opening of my address."
Ardanse: "So we're not at war...?"
Mathias: "No. The League's refusal to permit any member-states who wish only to wage war and spill blood unnecessarily keeps war from breaking out. So we hope."
Sophitia: "If I may, I did a little bit of research into the whole thing. The general idea is to cut Zeanobia off from supply lines and trade routes, to counter their propaganda, cut off their propaganda trails, and generally just throw a wrench in their lives. We don't want to kill anybody and, in a perfect world, we just want Alexis Blinova to stand down and let change take its course. These Third Solution guys... I had the displeasure of getting into a minor Twitter squabble with their government (somehow) - scored a win for the argument - and... all they want is death. War for the sake of it. They want to murder thousands instead of liberate them and break this mental fog that propaganda has over them."
Ardanse: "A peaceful deterrence. So then what about the recent spike in military recruitment. I mean, isn't 25 million enough?"
Mathias: "Kazimah's idea, really. I admit to having more confidence in the military than I probably should have given the circumstances," (he scratches his beard thoughtfully) "It isn't at all like I don't trust them to do the job. I wouldn't have listened had the Third Solution never become a thing. Zeanobia and their allies would indeed... fold, under such intense pressure - assuming we were to throw all 25 million soldiers at them, but you know with the situation regarding ISIS, tensions with other nations, we can't afford to do that.
Ardanse: "I guess leaving one million here just isn't enough dakka."
Sophitia: "Oh God no it's not."
Mathias: (Looking at Sophitia with a notably impressed expression,) "What that number doesn't account for would be all of the non-combat roles that are within the whole of the military. Take those out and you see that the actual number of men and women who pull triggers and pins* isn't actually as high as the total number implies."
Ardanse: "And you would say that on international television when they might be watching?"
Mathias: "Precisely why we're increasing that number of combat roles."
Ardanse: "Well let's hope they hold up to the hype. Anyways, another topic of importance is that the Zeanobians recently flew in propaganda bombs over Fascistisk territory and incited a rebellion. An insane amount of people died, but not without doing a bit of a number of the State. What are your thoughts?"
Sophitia: "Serves the State right. I only wish it had been Caelestiam that had gotten there first, but I guess the first step would be the enemy we're actually pressuring right now."
Ardanse: "Sophitia Larane here today with a brand new, fiery outlook on things. What's got you so revved up and ready to kill?"
Sophitia: "If there's one thing I hate, it's power-hungry charlatans like Zeanobia who use freedom and equality as loosely as they do. Just enough sexual and hedonistic freedom to distract a populace that isn't even allowed to speak their mind or pursue their own goals in life. Pisses me off to no end."
Mathias: "Yes, the Fascistisk riots were a tragedy, but a necessary one at that. The Fascistisk believe that humanity (and sapient life in general) by and large are evil, monstrous beings that need to be controlled like the goddamn animals they are and the Fascistisk thinks that they should be the ones to deliver the people from evil. By murdering people en masse for their race, orientation, ideology, religion, butchering them all for the sake of making examples out of them, and enslaving people past the point where any sane being would stop and at least throw them a bone - such as how the Romans would their slaves - and be decent masters. The fact of the matter is that they do not realize that progress only comes from the flow of free ideas, not 'thought purity.' Art, culture, science, faith... only through free-thinking and open speech can these pillars of society develop."
Ardanse: "Thing is, Zeanobia agrees with you, and probably thinks you are a hypocrite."
Sophitia: "They think we're the hypocrites when they advocate freedom and equality yet won't even let their people open their mouths because they might offend somebody or they might just be cooking a really good joke that goes against the government. When you get sued for making a racial-based joke and half the trial is trying to figure out if it was just an off-colored joke or a hate crime, there is a serious problem. Zeanobia thinks themselves so high and mighty over the Fascistisk when in reality they are blood siblings. They just can't get along long enough to realize that."
Mathias: "Some of you have wondered if the Caspian League is really going to go through with its statements and its threats. It is. And it's only growing stronger each day. New Aerios recently echoed our thoughts on Zeanobia and has pledged allegiance to the League in order to sway them before it's too late. We both have the military firepower to back our words. Valataria, allies of Zaurell... Epsilon Aquarii whom I personally invited from the Nexus to come fight with the League, it's all stacking up against Zeanobia."
Ardanse: "Well as you know, Zeanobia recently acquired an ally in the Goyevdre Islands."
Mathias: "The more the merrier."
Ardanse: "They also refuted your report that they permit necrophilia, and have claimed that the doctors that created the 7AoC were justified in doing so."
Mathias: "So I misspoke, but notice how they did not refute any of my other claims.
Sophitia:"And you know what, pardon me for my Low Solesien by what the f*** are these doctors doing with children to where they needed to establish the Age of Consent as seven years old? I mean that is never exactly specified. And, in some countries like Japan and the US, the AoC is fairly low - 13, but they are protected from adult interaction by several years, hence why you hear about the AoC really being 17 and 18 or higher."
Ardanse: "It seems you two are fairly passionate about this."
Mathias: "I am. Everything I have trained to become will culminate in the times to come. I can say with certainty that we are ready to represent the Caspian League and put a stop to the Blinova Regime, and to the crimes past regimes have committed."
Ardanse: "Amen. Now, to close out this segment, I'd like to pose a question. Your Majesty, Ms. Larane. In the future, when you both have kids of your own, would you rather them grow up in support of Zeanobia or in support of the Third Solution?"
Mathias and Sophitia: "I'd rather they have cancer. At least that's treatable." (They look at each other, a bit stunned in regards to their almost perfect synch)
Ardanse: "Haha... oh I knew there was a reason I thought of that one specifically."
Mathias: "Discussing the Twitter War?"
Ardanse: "Now that we've trapped you here, give us an answer, for real. Sophias or Andouqieng?"

There is an absolute silence. The two sit, mouths shut, awkwardly looking out at the audience. Ambient, suspenseful music is played courtesy of the live band. The two are looking away from each other. Then, quick as a flash, Sophitia turns to plant a kiss of lengthy duration on Mathias's cheek, lighting the King's cheeks up bright red. Three quarters of the audience lose their minds in their applause.

Ardanse: "Well it seems we have a winner, at least so it would appear! We'll be right back after this commercial break.

*Pulling triggers and pins: Caelestian military slang for "combat role" or "going into combat."

Every day in Zeanobia at afternoon, an hour block in television is dedicated to allow the Generalissimo to speak his/her mind. This time it went viral

This is March 5th and you’re watching national hour

(The camera is panned to Alexis Blinova, sitting at her office with a microphone. She’s holding a bunch of papers)

Alexis: Greetings everyone, today has been a special day for the republic. I would like to begin this speech with something positive to make up for the worrying news I’m about to tell.
Today, my book has just hit the market, that’s right from this day forth “True freedom and the costs” can be bought in every bookstore. It has recently been translated into various languages, including Danish, Norwegian and Swedish (Alexis giggles for moment before resuming). It’s expected to become a bestseller as the e-book has already been downloaded 10 million times worldwide!
With that out of the way, it’s time to welcome some of the newest members of the Zeanobian family.
(a middle-aged man holding a little girl in his hand joins Alexis in her office)
This is Lars, in return for getting on live we promised not to reveal his true name to the public.
So tell me something about yourself.
Lars: My name’s Lars, I lived in Denmark until recently. I have no family; they were all killed by the horrible Fascistisk State. (he whimpers as Alexis offers him a towel). I thought we were equals, I thought… Trygstad was looking out for me. Yesterday, a plane came through and gave us hope, that we could be who we wanted to be. You should have seen my son, never in my life had he been so determined. I watched the news in horror as the Fascistisk Sikkerhetstjeneste murdered my son. (Alexis hugs him). Since I came to Zeanobia everyone has been so nice to me, I’m starting to wonder if all they told about here was a lie.
Alexis Blinova: “Thank you Lars, I’m proud of your courage. However, I can see that you’re not alone?”
Lars: “That’s correct, I was not the only one losing his family. This poor girl lost her mother to the Fascistisk Sikkerhetstjeneste, her father shot her mother at Vaxholm.”
Emma: “Why did daddy shot my mommy?” (the little girl cries loudly as Alexis comforts her)
Alexis: “I have no idea; someone doesn’t like the idea of freedom” (Alexis hugs Emma)
Emma: “I don’t want to be alone”
Alexis: “You’re not alone anymore, we’re your family now”
(Lars follows Emma out)
Alexis: “Sadly, even I didn’t have the courage to tell her that an invasion would definitely kill Emma as well. Rest assured that I’m speaking for the whole Zeanobian regime when I personally thank every one of you for being so understanding to the new refuges. They have been through a lot already; they don’t need more oppression. That was all"
(the camera fades out, cue live footage of police brutality in Vaxholm)

OOC note: “True freedom and the costs by Alexis Blinova" shall be treated as the Zeanobian equivalent of ideologist books. In genre, this book is on pair with "Mao's Little Red Book", "Das Capital" and "Mein Kampf". The refuges from Fascistisk State do everything they can to promote it to their family and friends, so even though Alexis didn't do anything direct this turn. It should be able to invoke streisand effect anyway. Allowing Zeanobia to sell contraband books.

LIVE INTERVIEW WITH QUEEN TARIN III YLORA

Asern (Interviewer): "That is quite a shocking development in the Westerlands, and me and the team here will keep you all updated as the night goes on. Now though, it's time for an exclusive interview with none other than the Queen of Epsilon Aquarii herself, Tarin nar Ylora. So Tarin, there are rumours going around that you are pledging an armed response to aggression on the planet S-03 -or Earth as it's also known. Are these rumours true?"

Tarin: "Well, partially. Myself and the Royal Navy's commanders are not actually planning for any conflict ourselves, but the rumours of placing naval seaships in Earth's Arctic Ocean are indeed true."

A: "So even though you're in conflict with the Separatists and the Council nations, you are prepared to put further strain on the Royal Navy by making them operate in yet another theatre? Isn't that going to put your rule at risk?"

T: "No, not at all. My ships on Earth will be there in a peacekeeping role and besides, one small group is a negligible amount of ships in comparison to the Navy's full capability. That and--"

A: "What about the risk to the group itself? They will be operating in potentially hostile waters, millions upon millions of kilometers away from any form of aid. Not to mention, the commander of the group seems awfully young for this kind of delicate task."

T: "The ships that are being sent in are top-of-the-line warships. They are designed to operate at sea for years at a time and you also seem to discount how skilled the group's commander is. He has done operations like this innumerable times which in my mind, makes him ideal for the task. In the extremely unlikely event that they are attacked, the defences on all the ships can ensure their safety from any form of modern weaponry so the primitive equipment the people on Earth use will be simple to counter at worst. "

A: "Have you thought that putting a fleet in Zeanobian national waters will not make them back down, but instead inspire even more violence? Many people find it hard to believe that they are simply going to lie down and let the Caspian League depose their leader."

T: "I don't doubt that, but they have to recognise that they are up against unbeatable odds if they go to war, and I am hoping that they will see reason. No sane leader wants to see their nation fall to others, but whether or not Miss Blinova is sane... we'll have to wait and see."

A: "One last thing, what about the Third Solution? They're apparently planning military intervention in Zeanobia and tensions between the Third Solution members and those of the Caspian League are getting colder by the day. Surely you have plans to deal with them, too?"

T: "Unfortunately, no. If we were to meet violence with more violence, it would spark something nasty so I want to take it slowly with them. I put forces on earth to keep the peace, not to slaughter beat dogs."

A: "Well, I'm afraid that's all we have time for now. Thank you very much for your time, Your Majesty."

T: "Pleasure."

<A moment of silence while the anthem plays>
Host: Today we have a very special visitor! Please welcom Ki'leth Ni'tah, Hydraic Empire Parliament spokesman!
Ki'leth: Thank you all for having me.
Host: Now, I have a few questions for you. Is it true, that we have declared war on the Caspian League?
Ki'leth: No, not yet. We are still preparing our army and massing at our borders.
Host: Ah, okay! So, what did we do?
Ki'leth: So far we have sent some ships to blockade the Fascsitisk State.
Host: Any news from the Dark Lord of Khaos?
Ki'leth: He advises the public to be calm, not to worry, and keep their weaponry close at hand.
Host: Let's all give a round of applaise for the noble man!
<Ki'leth walks off screen as audience claps.>

"And I think that concludes what I have to say. There's nothing else on the agenda. Dame Rita, anything to add?" Asked the Bailiff.

"No, nothing." Replied Dame Rita Casey, Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of the Civil Service.

"Anything else, anyone?"

"Yes, Bailiff." Began the Councillor for Foreign Affairs, Sir Zackery Bunkey. "I would like to bring the Cabinet's attention to the ongoing case of Zeanobia. Zeanobia is a quirky country, with peculiar rituals, especially surround their laws - stuff they call 'freedom to act'. They, essentially, have very liberal laws to do with consent and sex, but nothing outwardly wrong. If it's consensual, it's okay. If not, it's not. There are medical arguments that could be made against this, but Zeanobia is not so backwards as to be bananas. It is my belief, and I believe the Cabinet shares this belief, that we should respect the sovereignty and democracy of other nations, and that in cases like this, we should not be 'reforming' these nations, but instead sending in the social anthropologists. I will, on behalf of Cabinet, take appropriate action to see that this view is projected into the debate surrounding Zeanobia, of course with the Cabinet's permission."

"Any objections to Sir Zackery's proposal?" Asked the Bailiff.

A few shuffles; no reply.

"Very well. If any of you have any issues later on, then feel free to take them up with Sir Zackery. If that's all, Cabinet dismissed, thank you for attending."

With that, the 20 or so Cabinet ministers began to gather their papers, briefcases, and briefings, and mingled towards the exit. Sir Zackery headed back to his office at the Department for Foreign Affairs - he had some work to do with this whole Zeanobia affair.

As Councillor for Foreign Affairs since the 2009 election, Sir Zackery had been in place long enough to have a firm grasp of how international relations really worked. Of course, before entering politics Sir Zackery had a succesful career in the diplomatic service, serving as the Goryevdren Ambassador to Regnum Albion from 1998 to 2002. He was first elected as a Member of the Convent of the People (MC) in 2003, firstly as an Independent. Already a popular figure nationally, in 2005 he joined the Labour Party, serving as their frontbench spokesman on foreign affairs from 2007 to 2009.

Following the 2009 election and the formation of the three-way coalition betwen the Liberals, Labour and the Progressive Conservatives, Sir Zackery was one of only a select group of Labour MCs in the Cabinet. Alongside him was Nicolas Hepburn, who was serving as Deputy Bailiff. Following the 2014 election, Sir Zackery retained his role, but this time the coalition had been reduced to just the Liberals and Labour. For almost seven years now, Sir Zackery had been the face of the Goryevdre Islands.

Upon reaching his desk and checking his computer, it was clear that there had been further developments. In a propaganda speech, a minister of the Fascistisk State had said that "Zeanobia is a nation that must be subjugated. For their own safety, their citizens must be crushed! Crushed, destroyed, stamped out! And from the ashes of these disgusting polices and foolish government, I have no doubt that a better nation would arise." This was quite clearly a threat of war, something that must be taken incredibly seriously, even if it was made by a fascist government. The Goryevdre Islands would have to step in to prevent further escalation, Sir Zackery decided.

Unfortunately, as Sir Zackery had learnt, international diplomacy was not simply that easy. It would have been a push over if only the Fascistisk State had been opposing Zeanobia. As he read further, it turned out that the Aerion Senate had been condemning Zeanobia. What was it - gang up on nations with different cultures week? Apparently the High Senator had called Zeanobia "a disgrace," and the Senate issued a unanimous condemnation, the first since 1939, or something like that. There were also "whispers of potential military action," according to some of the Aerion press. Unfortunate stuff.

Oh, God. Reading on, it turned out the Goryevdre Islands was not Zeanobia's only ally in this fight. The Hydraic Empire, a relatively unknown entity, had just declared its support for Zeanobia, and also issued a declaration of war to the Caspian League, the name being given to those opposing Zeanobia's affairs on moral grounds. Obviously, Sir Zackery would have to mediate this - or at least, he would try.

We Valatari are well known for our undying loyalty to a cause and most certainly to our allies, but above that, we are feared for our unceasing ferocity, our unwavering discipline, and our unparalleled tactical genius. The leader of this decadent state, the whorish Alexis Blinova, would be right to fear us. This woman clearly has no grasp of leadership, and is evidently highly incompetent to allow her nation to fall to such low moral standards. It is as such that included amongst our demands are that this repugnant excuse of a woman is removed from her position, and if at all possible or if there are no preferable alternatives, summarily executed by the Matriarch-Commander herself.

As for Zeanobia itself, the Matriarchy demands that the nation be temporarily occupied by the joint forces of the Caspian League, and that the repulsive delinquency that stains the nation be thoroughly purged. At the conclusion of which, a provisional government should be installed, which should answer solely to the League until Zeanobia can be ruled as satisfactory enough to be granted independence once more. Until this time however, Valataria will do whatever it takes to see the League victorious. Upon communion with the Matriarch's Conclave and with the Goddess Astraya, it can be confirmed that our involvement is not only divinely sanctioned, but also that we will see this conflict through to the very end.

Alexis Blinova: Not at all, on the contrary ever since their government banned my book, the revenue had skyrocketed. Apparently reading my book has become the latest trend of civil disobedience. As a matter of fact, I'd like to personally thank Trygstad for banning my book. Ever since she did, my mailbox has been spammed with supportive emails from people all over Fascistisk State. Thank you, for making my book one of the most read literature in Scandinavia.
Reporter: Speaking of support, I have a hard time believing Trygstad appreciates your rule. In a recent announcement. You were calling out for wishing to death on her people. Is that true?
Alexis Blinova: That's just silly, not only have I welcomed all refuges from Fascistisk State with open arms, I have never killed a single of their people. 90% of the money I made on the book, was used to provide for the them. Why would anyone murder a person unless in self-defense. Besides, at least I have never murdered my own people, unlike a certain someone.

Good morning, Caelestiam. I apologize for the abrupt message so early, today, especially to all you news stations out there who struggled to adapt your schedules to broadcast this very important message. I salute all of you for your hard work and determination. But that wasn't what I have come to talk about.

The Caspian League and its opponents have been up to a few things, today, and I would like to address them. First, the Hydraic Empire has essentially declared war on the Caspian League for reasons unknown, we believe it to be a past conflict with one of our member-states. Given that the rather affectionate letter to our leaders was rife with things that Caelestiam has never done and will never do under my reign, such as wanton murder in the streets, execution of civilians, and lacking the balls to claim responsibility whenever we do happen to ruin somebody's day, somewhere, at some time (He shrugs, deliberately providing an awkward silence, looking away and subtly licking his upper lip, as if trying to stoically simmer in false emotional pain).

Facistisk Sweden was confirmed to be the location of a recent Zeanobia-invoked uprising after Zeanobia engaged the Third Solution twice, violating their airspace and propaganda bombing them. What did the Fascistisk do? They butchered their own civilians for "thought crime." Murdered people on the spot. That having been said I would like to extend an invitation to any and all Fascistisk rebels who want out. We are fully prepared to take refugees from any Third Solution nation that wishes to defect. You will be given water, food, shelter, clothing, and companionship. Normally we would establish a refugee trail out of the Fascistisk, but unfortunately such a move would only trigger the Chancellor. But we have our ways of helping brothers and sisters in need.

Zeanobia's... Premier? Prime Minister? Alexis Blinova recently released a new book. "True Freedom and the Costs." Feeling in the mood for a laugh, I picked up a copy. Zeanobia's Little Red Book. I read it cover to cover, and I recommend it to every one of my military advisers and soldiers looking to try to get a grasp of the enemy mindset. Having said that I am declaring... no, we're not going to ban the books and the propaganda. Because that would make us like the Facistisk, who recently held a book-burning to dispose of Zeanobian rhetoric. While I'm no fan of it myself, I am certainly against the banning and burning of books. It's why you see, in some of our libraries, copies of The Communist Manifesto beside Mein Kampf beside 1984 beside Machiavelli's The Prince. Somebody really needs to organize that shelf. SO, After premiering the book she proceeded to showcase two Facistisk refugees. Now since we are live I cannot play the clip, but I expect it should be shown after I go off air. You may decide for yourselves the legitimacy of the case presented by the refugees and Ms. Blinova.

Epsilon Aquarii, our allies and a member-state of the Caspian League, have moved into Zeanobian waters. That said, I would like to ask the Queen, Tarin nar Ylora, if I may send to those ships a group of diplomats. To learn more about their culture and to keep our alliance secure.

Valataria, allies of Zaurell, have officially declared their intentions to honor their alliance with Zaurell and have come aboard the Caspian League to aid us in taking Zeanobia's Blinova regime down. They have stated that they are sending a detachment of psionic commandos to aid us under Matriarch-Commander Lyvara. The Hydraic Empire recently placed a bounty on her head. Rest assured we will be denying any assassins their pay.

Speaking of assassins. A vile thing occurred this morning that prompted me to have this message broadcasted. Yesterday as you know, I was on Caelestiam Tonight with Ardanse Luccioni. I was a guest speaker along with the lovely Sophitia Larane who... as you probably saw (blushing, he looks down at his feet and tries to get his train of thought to arrive at the station)... Anyways, she made some rather biting comments towards both the Zeanobian Defense and the Third Solution. And so before I went to bed that night, I asked an agent of SHINOBI who will remain anonymous, "Can you please go check on Ms. Larane?" Sure enough, when he arrived at her home, he intercepted an as of yet unidentified assassin who had broken into her home. The assassin was dead in seconds.

So there are going to be a few changes. Don't worry, everybody, Sophitia Larane is alive and unharmed, but a little shaken still. She will be staying in the Citadel until it is safe to go home (silence). I can taste my inboxes, DMs, and Twitter feed clogging up already.

Secondly. In response to Valataria's generous donation of psionic commandos under Lady Lyvara and the ever so delightful bounties and assassination attempts made in response to a few concerned words, I propose to the Caspian League that we begin the organization of our League. I am inviting the member-states to send either their leader or a representative to meet with me in the Citadel. There, we will discuss the details of our organization. In particular, I want to designate a city "capital of the Caspian League," I would like to start forming a coalition military, and I want to establish networks of trade and information between our member-states to better unify ourselves in the event that the situation should escalate any further than it has now.

achieve our goals through diplomatic means.
L.LII: That's no longer a possibility?
L.LVII: It's always a possibility. If we can force Blinova to step down, Fascistisk won't have a legitimate reason to move in.
Any further hostile action they take will be very hard for them to justify.
ST.LV: Doesn't mean they won't move in anway. Bloody fascists are experts at making up justifications.
H.S: True. All valid points. What I'm saying is that we need to be ready to deploy. We're not going to war yet. But if diplomacy
fails, we'll need to take Zeanobia before Fascistisk can. I'm not going to sit idly by and watch one tyrant replaced with another.
If we have to destroy both of them, we absolutely will.
P.P: How about a more discreet operation? Intelligence gathering, propaganda, perhaps an assassination here and there?
L.LII: Possible, but these aren't the easiest countries for that sort of thing. Cameras and soldiers on every street corner.
P.F: These are precisely the sort of countries where we've lost good frumentarii in the past. I'm hesitant to risk more.
P.P: And I've lost good Praetorians. Doesn't mean the results weren't worth their sacrifice.
H.S: We haven't time for spying when there's tanks at the border. We need to make it clear that if Fascistisk makes a move,
we'll make one faster, take out Blinova before they get the chance, and then come after them.
P.P: Admittedly, an equally sound principle.
L.LVII: I can have a carrier group sitting in international waters near that region within a couple of days. Full complement
of legionaries, armour, and aircraft, fueled, loaded, and ready to go. Your call, High Senator.
H.S: Do it. But make damn sure that not one ship and not one bloody plane crosses into either nation's territory. Not so
much as a single wingtip, even for a second. We're taking precautions, not mounting an invasion. So far, at least. I'd like to
keep it that way for as long as possible. I'm sure the rest of the League shares my sentiments.

DLK: Greetings, senators, hydras, and... (bows head for a moment, then looks back up) enemies. I am here today to address the growing threat of the Third Solution. When our neighbor was kind enough to release a best selling book (he waves it in the air), the Fascistisk State held public burnings. This is unjust, cruel and against our basic principals! The destruction of art and literature is, in the HE, punishable by death! Senator, what do you think about this?
S: Hail to the Empire, your Dark Lordship. (He bows while DLK nods respectfully) These Fascisi-whatevers should be treated like the criminals they are! They believe the only solution is war? We will give them war!
KN: Hail, Dark Lord, but shouldn't we abstain for war if that is what he wants? Reporter, what are your ideas?
R: I agree with whatever the Dark Lord of Khaos decides.
DLK: (Holds up hands for silence) Everyone, calm. We all know that patience provides the sweetest victories. I have invited Alexi (OOC I AM NOW) for a meating in our capital city, Skaro. There we will meet and discuss what to do with those foul Third Solutions. In addition, we will withdraw all of our active militant (he scratches his thigh) forces, and (swats at a fly) ****ing fly! Where was I... oh yes, and we will activate all army reserves. Finally, we will also (as the fly moves towards him again, he pulls out a plasma pistol and starts shooting at it. This goes on for about a minute before he guns it down) Like, WTF FLY?!?!?!? Okay, okay, where was I again... uh... oh yeah, um, ready all the... uh... military stuff, land, air, and sea, and withdraw our (mutters some obscenities as a fly comes near him) ahem, blockade on the Caspians and place it instead around the Fascistisk State.

(OOC: Mostly humor, but it also says some important stuff, like how the Fascistisk State is no longer good enough to be said properly and how they removed blockade from Caspian League and put it instead on the Third Solution.)

This is a conversation between the Queen and the LC of the Aquariian battlegroup on Earth about what to do while in Zeanobian waters.

Lord Commander: "Your Grace, most of the fleet has arrived and is just off the coast of Svalbard. I'm just waiting for the HMS Terrorwave now. What are our orders, specifically?"

Tarin: "Just stay in Zeanobian waters and make sure they notice your ships. Remind them that less than 0.003% of my military could take Earth. Remind them that they are not in a position to continue their backwards ideology. Remind them that they have not seen Fury until they've seen an Aquariian's."

LC: "But with respect Your Grace, their military could retaliate to my trespassing of their waters. They could attack us."

T: "Commander, you are in command of the most powerful fleet Earth has ever seen. Your flagship, the HMS Vehement, is our most powerful terrestrial carrier to date. Besides, in the event they do attack your fleet, you will destroy the attackers with ease and you'll get reinforcements so we can carry out a land invasion. But now however, your task is simply to gather intelligence. To do that, you will put spies in amongst Lady Blinova's advisers."

LC: "Will they be authorised to carry weapons, Your Grace?"

T: "Most definitely not! Their job is to gather intel not start a war! If they're seen with weapons then our spies will not get in, and they can defend themselves adequately enough with their fists. A few other things though. One, Caelest diplomats may be arriving to your fleet, and you are to show them the utmost respect and allow them to do their jobs. Secondly, I'll be at a summit with the other Caspian leaders and so I'm leaving you under the command of Royal Lady Commander Insen nar Ylora. Is that understood?"

LC: "Yes Your Grace. Don't worry, whatever they're up to, we'll put a stop to it."

In accordance with the Cantonese Union's Foreign Policy Regulations, we have decided to be neutral in the conflict. While Zeanobian law is contradictory to Cantonese law both legally and morally, every state has a right to exercise its own laws and regulations without the risk of being undermined by foreign entities.

Aboard the Arbiter-Class Cruiser Resplendence, Matriarch-Commander Lyvara and her detachment of commandos have since arrived in Earth's orbit with two escorting Valiant-Class destroyers in tow, Divinity and Sanctity.

The following is an extract from a conversation between the Matriarch-Commander and the captain of the Resplendence, immediately upon their arrival

Captain Ylvira: Matriarch-Commander, we have arrived at the planet! The portal behind us closed safely, and both the Divinity and the Sanctity are moving into formation around the Resplendence as we speak! Cloaking systems have been engaged, and we are now completely invisible to those down below.

Matriarch-Commander Lyvara: Well done, Captain. Send word to the Empress and to our allies that we have arrived and are ready to begin our duties immediately. Maintain our orbit for the time being, only descend onto the planets surface when we receive word of what our allies intend to do.

Ylvira: Certainly my lady. *after a brief pause* Ah, my lady! It has just come to my attention that one of the leaders of the Zeanobian Defence has set a rather high bounty on your head!
