Candidates:
New York businessman Donald Trump
Here's some polling.
As usual, let’s stay away from the political nicknaming, and try not to let tensions get out of hand.

John Kasich is really starting to grow on me. If the Republican race comes down to a brokered convention (I'm not sure what the chances of that are right now) I hope they give the nomination to him.
Why? He's no "moderate."
He is.
GAY MARRIAGE
"Look, I'm an old-fashioned person here and I happen to believe in traditional marriage. But I've also said that the court has ruled... and I said we'll accept it."
MEDICAL MARIJUANA
"Now, when it comes to medical marijuana, if the experts come back and say we need this for people who have seizures, I'm for that."
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
"I think affirmative action is good. I think quotas are not. Affirmative action is that we must make positive movements to make sure everyone has an equal chance. Quotas are an artificial category that's established that denies opportunity to some.
I think we also realize that polarizing Americans isn't going to fix any of our deep problems, because even though we're richer, in many respects we're poorer in spirit."
ABORTION
"There are restrictions that we put in, we've done a lot of things in Ohio effecting abortions after 20 weeks, but until that law [Roe v. Wade] changes, that's the law. If the court makes a ruling, they make a ruling, but I think there are absolutely legitimate and constitutional restrictions that can be put on it."

Sam Bee did a highly relevant piece on Kasich being a "moderate." On many issues he is... But on others, he just sorta seems like he is because the others are all equally or even more crazy.

Honestly, I found that video cringeworthy for her. It looked more like a speech-reading than standup, and her only real criticisms were over LGBT and abortion which, frankly, Kasich has very reasonable standpoints on.

Clearly we have different standpoints on what is a reasonable standpoint on abortion, then. But I do appreciate he is far more moderate on LGBT issues and a host of other topics than anyone else in the GOP field, and that he has actual solid governing experience and is not an incredibly unpleasant human being.

I will support him only if Hillary makes the Democratic nomination, and only because Hilary is a fundamental danger to the nation, worse than Trump. I also think h won't follow through with most of his extreme promises, and end up being somewhat left-leaning overall.
