Nukes are like tanks, and according to one of the banners, Tanks for Everything. Thus, we can draw a logical conclusion that tanks are for everything, and purporting the relationship between tanks and nukes, we can honestly say that we use nukes for lots of things. Nukes as in nuclear power plants, right?

The Victory Corporation believes that nuclear weapons are crude and ultimately useless, providing mindless destruction to would-be dictators, but robbing the land it impacts of any viability for rehabilitation for decades or even centuries. Nuclear weapons are also easily detected by radiation sensors, and thus can only be deployed in extremely dangerous, and sometimes suicidal, bombing raids where anti-air and anti-missile defenses are preoccupied or destroyed, or by an equally endangered ground operative, also sometimes suicidal, equipped with a bomb. In short, nuclear weapons are like the first gun: extremely dangerous but able to be wielded by anyone, from maniacs and psychopaths to those with even the best intentions.

The Victory Corporation currently, and will continue to, hold the stance that all nuclear weapons should be discarded and/or recycled for use in more beneficial nuclear power plants.

I reckon the PM could be considered big fans. The Prut nuclear arsenal is substantial and nearly all military planning on the operational and strategic level at minimum consider a nuclear option as the default, and every other option as a desirable, but secondary alternative. Tactical use of nuclear weaponry is avoided as a matter of policy, but the possibility isn't discarded outright. The PM prefers to use high-yield warheads in either multiple clusters or targeted single strikes, generally in the 400 to 500 kilotonne range, with a sizable amount of various megatonne yield warheads as well. The largest warheads in terms of yield that are considered practical are the 12 to 15 Mt-s, while larger warheads are usually only proof of concept developments, or used for study and comparison purposes. Standard procedure for nuclear weapon employment is to use air burst detonations with the aim to maximise the 35 to 125 kilopascal overpressure range. Ground burst strikes are never standard procedure and are strictly used in retaliation strikes on countervalue targets; the PM uses nuclear weapons on counterforce targets without hesitation, but deliberately avoids targeting countervalue targets first.

All things considered nuclear weapons are just another tool for operational and strategic warfare, and their value in military, diplomatic, and political affairs cannot be ignored nor neglected. In any collision between a nuclear and non-nuclear power the former will always—without exception—triumph over the latter, while two nuclear powers will avoid direct confrontation. Any even potential involvement of nuclear weapons in military, diplomatic, and/or political affairs will promote dialogue and careful compromise over adventurism. In the PM it's the firm belief that only warmongers and those with ulterior motives shun nuclear weaponry—with perhaps actively pacifist societies being the exception. We're yet to encounter a society that avoids nuclear weaponry while fielding an otherwise large conventional force that wasn't aggressive, brash, irresponsible, and irascible; these societies avoid the great equaliser, the nuke, since it prevents them from brutalising others and themselves. What the firearm has done on an interpersonal level the nuke has done for the international level.

Every nation with a great millitary power should have at least few nukes. This doesn't mean that we have to use them on any stupid thing we see. It should be used in situations such as:
you are in a war and the nation you are fighting against is close to collapse. you tell them to capitulate or you will launch the nuke. Exactly like in ww2. so I think that it's perfectly normaly to be a superpower and have nuclear weapons

We have a stockpile of about 10,000 nukes, but we will only use them in a worst-case attrition scenario in which conventional warfare has already exhausted every last dinar, soldier and rifle and the very existence of Letrastan is under threat.

2 Ways to look at it.

1. It would be great if no one had them because no one could start a nuclear war that would destroy all of man kind. How ever this would mean people don't give a shit about invading other places and declaring wars so more people would die (Cold war might have been more interesting) and people would just get another weapon Ex Bio-weapons.

2. MAD (Mutually assure destruction) This one works so far... But can go wrong very quickly with the world being destroyed... its also expensive and people will just keep wining about how they exist.

SO in summery... we build Big Nukes and act as a 'Peace' force that can tell people to calm down and not go to war under punishment of annihilation. So... I mean it works
