This would be a good event for nations who are new to the whole NS Sports concept, and a good event for a first competition to host, while still being an entertaining competition for experienced nations.

So, all you need to do for now is fill out this form. You can enter up to four competitors.

OISINISTAN BID FOR THE FIRST BOWLING WORLD TOURNMENT

So why should you host it?
In Oisinistan, bowling is the biggest sport after rugby. Thousands of fans flock to see our national bowling league. Oisinistan has a great bowling culture, funded by billionaire businessman Clifford Khumalo, so money or passion will never be an issue.

What will your format be?
For the group stage, each bowler submitted would be randomly drawn into a group, regardless of team. This will be an individual event.
24 teams: 6 groups of 4, top two from each group and 4 best third place bowlers qualify for next round
28 teams: 7 groups of 4: top two from each group and 2 best third place bowlers qualify
32 teams: 8 groups of 4; top two from each group qualify
36 teams: 9 groups of 4: top bowlers from each group qualifies, second-placed bowlers and best 5 third-placed bowlers contest a playoff, winner of that qualifies too
40 teams: 8 groups of 5, top two from each group qualify

What about RPing? Will I get bonuses?
Yes. If a nation RPs throughout the tournament, that nation will receive RP bonuses. A more in-depth RP will give a nation more RP points.

Do you have any experience?
Yep. I hosted the Rugby League WorldTrophy earlier this month, so I'm no stranger to hosting tournaments.

Mattijanan Host Bid for the first Bowling World Tournament

Despite being more of a pastime in Mattijana than a specialist sport, Bowling is a very popular activity and competitions, including a team league have become more and more frequent over the past few years, especially in the major cities of Peteovijanka, Burges and as a bad-weather activity in Matbirjke. Furthurmore, due to Mattijana's wealthy nature, mild socialist policies and love of physical activity, Bowling arenas are clean, modern and easily large enough for a big international event.

Venues:

Ljujanska Minskja, Petrovijanka:

The Ljujanska Minjska in the Centre-East of Petrovijanka would be the main venue for the tournament and boasts a four lane competition area with large stands for fans. The area is traditionally decorated in Mattijanan colours rather than the flashing lights and loud pop music of Bowling Alleys in other countries.

Burgeska Minskja, Burges:

The other venue used would be the Burgeska Minskja in the centre-Northern city of Burges. The competition area is very similar to the one in Petrovijanka, but with a more specialised paint job and a few fewer seats.

Infrastructure: Both Burges and Petrovijanka have international airports with rail links connecting both cities and their airports. There are also frequent trams to take fans from hotels to the venues as well as sights in the City Centres.

Format:

If chosen, we would have groups containing randomly drawn individual bowlers with points from the group stages put together to calculate team scores. The top two bowlers from each group would then qualify fir the knockout stage regardless of group sizes.

Ethanian Bid for the First World 10 Pin Bowling Tournament (BowlingTen)

Bowling. One of Ethane's most popular types of Entertainment. With thousands of bowling venues across the country, millions of people flock to indulge in the sport of bowling every year, bringing millions of pounds into the local economy. Popularity of bowling is constantly rising, with more and more people joining in 'the bowling craze' every year.

Bowling, however, has never really made it big as a sport in its own right. Neither is it expected to ever grow big as a spectator sport. There will always be a loyal fanbase to the sport, but it just doesn't have the excitement, like other, more active sports, to attract a larger audience.

However, the bowling alleys in Ethane sure know how to make it a great time for the competitors, and provide great prizes for those teams that win. With high quality bowling alleys and hotels, as well as the best service and transportation, with a small holiday in Ethane included, there is no reason to want to go elsewhere.


The Honey Suite Bowling Alley- One of our most luxurious bowling alleys, with 4 of these, there is plenty of room for the competition to take place. With space for 50 spectators (if you wish to have spectators), the atmosphere in here is sure to be one of suspense, but luxury as well. Dine and play during this tournament, our chefs will provide you with the highest quality Ethanian cuisine, for you to eat to your heart's delight.
There is also a viewing lobby, which can hold a further 200 spectators, with a large screen to view the bowling, and the bowling will be livestreamed on the internet.
