You remember it don't you? When the angel took the powers of the Father? Or perhaps when the Old One returns the realm of dead monsters to enact her revenge? Maybe when the world was on the verge of knowing of what they don't understand and in turn capturing them in hopes of understanding or destroying them? These all happened and you were all there, when the Devil was released into the world commencing the End of Days that was to never come. But worse of all was when the First One was released from his confinement devouring worlds and those who stood in his way ending in Los Angeles just as all seemed hopeless He returned using the last of his strength he reverse the flow of time, but back all of you from the endless void, because while the other fates can be avoided the release of the First One cannot be avoided it overrides fate and destiny themselves. But that is not of importance right now, now all of you need to find Him, the creator, father, God...only He knows how to stop the First One, and stop the destruction of all of creation.

Species: There are the species known to exist in the Supernatural world.

Immortal, fast, and deadly. Vampires have existed since the times of the ancient city-states of Sumeria, with the First Vampire, then from there spreading across all over the world. Millions exist all over the world, and over thousands exist in the US alone. Many myths and lore about Vampires are true such as their weakness to silver and sunlight, although sunlight make them weak, they do not burst into flames.Religious items and holy do not effect Vampires. Decapitation of the head from the body can also put down a Vampire.

Image

Also known as a lycanthrope, werewolves turn into wolf like creatures, with a very tall stature and superhuman strength and senses, also can run very fast. Many werewolves believe that the earliest known werewolves were Romulus and Remus. The only possible way to become a werewolf is if you are bitten by one. They exist all over the world, and are as populace as Vampires. While most are able to handle their wild side, some cannot not and become feral, usually attacking anything or anyone in their sights. Like most supernatural creatures they have a weakness to silver.

The term both applies to men and women, very few male witches refer to themselves as warlocks in this day and age. There is are such thing as a good witch, given the nickname 'white witches' they tend to be somewhat weaker that usual witches. All witches draw upon an old force which gives a witch their powers. Witches are not immortal but can extend their lives far beyond average life expectancy. The oldest known witch was about 700 years old before meeting their fate. Sometimes witches and warlocks makes deals with demons to enhance their powers.

Image

Malevolent supernatural entities created by Lucifer. They are the embodiment of pure evil, and take joy in the torment of the human race while in Hell. Many humans meet demons through usually a deal, they try to make with one, although the humans may get what they want they seem to win in the end. Demons cannot exist in their true form on Earth, they usually take a human vessel, unlike angels by force. Usually the human inside experience what the demons do while in their bodies and have to live with the horrors of it if the demon has been exercise. While Demons do not have ranks like angels they do have a King or Queen of Hell, leader of all demons. Usually the eye color from when they possess human tell the kind of power they have, Red Eyed Demons are the weakest followed by Black, Yellow, White being the strongest. There are other unique demons with unique colored eyes.

Image

Celestial beings created by God, to serve Him and Heaven. The Archangels were the first angels created sometime after the beginning of the universe. Originally, Michael was the oldest, followed by Lucifer, Raphael, Uriel. But only two remained, Lucifer fell, and supposedly Uriel died during Lucifer's Rebellion. Any angels true form cannot be perceived by humans and most supernatural beings, as they are being of light and would burn their eyes out and possible kill them. Angels tend to stay in Heaven, staying out of mortal affairs, why people almost have never seen them. For angels to exist on Earth they need a vessel usually human consenting, or a recently deceased person's body.
Ranks:Archangel-Highest Rank angel, they are God's fiercest and strongest warriors.
Seraphim- The second highest ranking angels, also known as the Burning ones, they have six wings and four faces in their true form. This is usually the top tier an angel can achieve.
Cherubim- Although on Earth they are misrepresented by little babies with wings, cherubs are actually guards to the Gates of Heaven as well as the Guardians to the Garden of Eden, God's Throne. Cherubs are also angels of love, making people who are destined to fall in love together. This is usually the top tier an angel can achieve, only becoming an archangel under special circumstances. Cherubs have four wings
Angel- Although they are the lowest rank they make up most of the numbers. And even then Angel can be classified into small ranks such as smiters and messengers.

Fallen Angels are angels who either were banished from Heaven, or who voluntarily left. Some may turn to evil but others simply want to be left alone, others may also return to Heaven. Depending on their rank, they retain some of the abilities.

Image

Shifters, short for Shapeshifters, are able to change their appearance to any person living, dead, or fictional. Shifters are able to access a person's memories and thoughts through touch, making the an almost identical match to person they impersonate. Shifters have a weakness to silver, and one way to tell apart a Shifter is usually through video their eyes appear silver through video, but this can be avoiding if they were sunglasses.

Beings that use cunning and deceit as their weapons. They are able to bend reality around them, as long as they return reality to its original state. They usually play tricks on other, usually to have a few laughs. They are good at shapeshifting also, they are rare in the world.

Image

They are humans aware of the supernatural world around them, and the are the first line of defense. Many hunters are born into the profession. But there are a few who are forced into hunting, usually by something hurting their families and loved ones. Hunters are usually equipped with necessary items to take on most jobs, sometimes they rely on others from help, many usually specialize in a certain area of expertise, through there are some who are 'jack-of-all trades'.

Image

They ruled the world in their time in history. Demanding sacrifice in their name, usually human sacrifice, through some are benevolent enough to except other things, such as animal sacrifices instead. Many have faded with time, but a few have survive masquerading as humans. Many despise God and His angels, believing He just showed up one day, and over the years humans have slowly replace the Gods with God.

Image
A reaper is a son of Death; or at least that is what they refer to themselves as. Reapers are supernatural beings in charge of taking and bringing lives into and out of the world. But each time a Reaper creates a life, it must end one, and vice versa. However, only some Reapers are trusted with this ability, and many abuse it; which causes them to lose it. A Reaper can only take a life that is near it's end, or is near it's start. They cannot take life at will.

Primes
The first monsters, or Primes as there are known in the supernatural world, these monsters are the origins of their species.

TAG! Also, would I be allowed to create a character who's a djinn: genie? Would this be considered a sub-set of an already established species (trickster, for example) or would it be an entirely different one?

App:
Name:Flavious Von Drachgral
Age: ??? (When in a human body he looks about 24)
Appearance: While serving in his hellish demonic body he is a tall 7'5, his horns arch together like a harp without strings, while his physic is that of a earthly body builder in hell he much prefers to use brains over brawn. His eyes are white as deepest snow and prides himself on them. When he takes a human form however he likes to be a bit suttler, he takes the humans body and molds it a bit, slitting the entire head just so it will look as if it has been decapitated as part of a show of his power. He prefers to wear a red shirt and black pants with an old pocket watch hanging out of the side along with white gloves.
Personality: Calm, Patient, and Calucalting this demon has no problem with spending years even decades on a gamble, he's learned he's got quiet the bit of time to spare. Looking to increase his status at all times he's often willing to risk double dealing and getting himself burned, but sometimes you need to take risks.
Species:Demon
Abilities: Can create flames, steal human souls (provided they have a contract), use human bodies as a vessel, summon Hell Imps, teleportation.
Weapons: Drachgral prefers to use a Spear and Sheild, however he has taken to using Hellishly improved revolver weapons when he takes a human body twisting it to take a larger caliber so it can stop an angel if needed.
Bio: created shortly after the fall of lucifer as one of the major demons to help with sat and move onto the earth after his fall. For a few centuries he did his job like most of the newly created toadies, fresh and loyal that was untill the fall of the Roman Empire. After that the gloves had come off and it was near every demon for themselves that wher the first generation. Seeking to increase there power and status demons have overseen major events in history, one of the key works of Flavious was the communistic Titian that was the USSR. This was his attempt to outdue Nazi Germany's little demon who was trying to upstage him. Over the next couple of decades things got boring and now he takes his time running a few side businesses whenever he is on earth. Back in hell he plays his part in the grand scheme of luficers armies, he wishes he could do more, he hopes that eventually he can find a body that will last him for a very long time on earth. He has been keeping an eye on the vampire and werewolf populations as they may hold the key to what he needs and often looks on them with fascination.

App:
Name: Known as, among other things, Ziusudra, Xisuthros, Atrahasis, Utnapishtim, Noah, Deucalion, Manu, Nu'u, Ahasver, Paul Marrane, and Isaac Laquedem. Goes by "Xisuthros" in the supernatural world, and "Paul" in the mundane world. His real name is lost to history.
Age: About 50,000
Appearance: Fuck it, I'm going with Ben Kingsley.
Personality: TBD (I feel like this should have a lot of work put into it.)
Species: Human
Abilities: Completely immune to death. (Does not age, and regenerates from wounds/disease/etc. over the course of a day or two, no matter how severe) Also has a supernaturally-powerful (but not perfect) memory, making events tens of thousands of years ago as fuzzy for him as events decades ago are for a normal human.
Weapons: N/A
Bio:
His earliest history is not well-attested. Most of his early life is forgotten to him, due to his age, and the only other sources alive in that time are cryptic and unhelpful. All that is known (and relevant) is that he was a humble man living as a hunter-gatherer of some kind in prehistory. One day, he was contacted by a deity. The deity said that the other gods wanted to destroy humanity because of their "pride" or some-such, a decision this renegade deity thought was not a great idea. This destruction would come in the form of a flood.

Hr was gifted with divine knowledge and not only built the first ship in existence, but an enormous, physics-defying ship, using building techniques that would only be discovered millennia later and copious amounts of spacetime-warping magic gifted by his patron deity, so that the ship was able to fit ten thousand people. Fortunately, the gods were too busy summoning the vast amounts of water needed for the flood from the abyss that predated creation, and didn't notice ten thousand people travelling to Ethiopia to get on the best (and only) boat that had ever been made. He and his ten thousand passengers survived the initial onslaught of the flood (the animals were saved from the flood by divine intervention; the gods had no interest in killing them), but the flood did not cease. The gods had found of the ship, and were going to wait until it sunk to recede the waters into the abyss. Then, the gods noticed something. They had no worship, no belief, no sacrifices. They were starving. So, the waters started to recede, and the ship landed on a mountain. There was some business about birds being sent out and coming back, then not coming back, you know this bit. Anyway, he decided to let bygone genocides be bygones, and sacrificed a nearby sheep to the gods. In his own words, "the gods smelled the sweet savor, and collected like flies over a sacrifice."

(Incidentally, this sudden reduction of the human population to about ten thousand people left a noticeable mark on the human genome, but it was attributed to the eruption of the Toba Supervolcano several thousand years before the birth of Xisuthros, rather than a magic flood.)

For his part in saving humanity and stopping the gods from accidentally screwing themselves over to a massive degree, he was granted immortality. For the first few ten-thousand years, he just sort of wandered around, seeing the world, killing things, and guiding various groups before moving on. In about 20,000 BCE, he was exploring a cave when an earthquake caused it to collapse on him. He didn't die, of course, but he was trapped within the rock. Over a period of about ten thousand years, he used his fingernails (rendered bloody on the rock quickly, but also healing quickly due to his gift.) to carve his way out of the rock and to the outside. He was, of course, completely insane at this point, but after a couple thousand years of interaction with his fellow man he slowly rebuilt his mind.

By 7500 BCE he was completely sane, and decided to spend his endless time by spreading his story. For 2500 years he walked across Afro-Eurasia, and occasionally the Americas, telling his tale and then moving on. At first they wouldn't believe him, but when he cut his head off and his body grew back they found his claims a bit more plausible. In this time prototypes of his many names appeared: Atrahasis, Utnapishtim, Noah, Deucalion, Shraddhadeva Manu, Nu'u, and so on, as well as "Ziusudra", a name he took as his own, having lost his original name to time and insanity.

Eventually, Ziusudra became bored of wandering, and settled down in what is now Kuwait, living on a small island in the Persian Gulf. He lived on the island for another two thousand years by himself. It was during this time when the earliest civilizations were first born, including the nearby Sumer. Knowledge that Ziusudra lived in the land of "Dilmun", as it was known then, was common, due to both Ziusudra's earlier wanderings and later trade with the mainland for supplies and news. The great Sumerian king Gilgamesh, grieving for his close friend Enkidu and fearing his own death, sought out the isolated Ziusudra to learn the secret of immortality. Upon arriving on his island, Ziusudra was forced to disappoint him, reiterating that the act that made him immortal was divine in nature, and explaining that the gods made it clear it was a one-time affair, and that he definitely didn't have the ability to replicate it. He did, however, know of a magic plant that could reverse aging. He told Gilgamesh of its location, but when he found it, it was stolen by a snake. Gilgamesh was disappointed, but learned not to be afraid of death.

This experience inspired Ziusudra to help and advise others as he had Gilgamesh, and after a century of deliberation, Ziusudra left his island home and began to again travel the world. While he stayed mostly in the Middle East in this round of wandering, he still travelled quite far. For three thousand years he wandered, travelling on merchant expeditions to India, usurping the throne of the Assyrian empire under the alias "Sin-shumu-lishir", and advising the Greco-Babylonian historian Berossus, among other things.

Ziusudra's history with Berossus was interesting: Ziusudra approached Berossus under an alias, hoping to help him with his work. He correctly many errors in Berossus' writings, but there were certain things he decided not to correct, in order to avoid having it revealed that he was immortal. One of these things was the transliteration of "Ziusudra" as "Xisuthros" in Greek - Ziusudra could have corrected it, but opted not to to avoid suspicion. Ziusudra and Berossus remained friends for the latter's entire life, though in later years Ziusudra only communicated with his friend through letters to avoid revealing his agelessness. When Berossus died, Ziusudra adopted the hellenized moniker "Xisuthros" both in honour of his deceased friend, and to fit in better with the Hellenistic upper class of the Seleucid empire.

Around the time of the birth of Jesus, Xisuthros was wandering central Asia with nomadic groups, completely unaware of the rest of the world. He had decided to spend a few thousand years there, but that was interrupted when overpopulation and climate change forced the Huns (and everyone in their path) west and south. It was in this way, travelling with Huns, Goths and finally Romans, that Xisuthros ended up in what is now Europe. Xisuthros, while not from any modern cultural or ethnic group, was obviously foreign in Europe. He passed himself off as "Jewish", using his knowledge of history and fluency in Akkadian, which sounded vaguely like Hebrew to the Europeans, to support this. However, rumours of his immortality spread like wildfire, eventually blossoming into the tales of the "Wandering Jew" or "Eternal Jew" much later in history.

In about 950 CE, Xisuthros' wanderlust took hold of him once again, and he travelled northwest, first to Scandinavia and then to Iceland, finally joining a rather unique expedition to a faraway land. He was initially enthusiastic about the settlement on this newly-christened "Vinland", having ancient memories of being in the region before, but was rendered less enthusiastic when he found out how cruelly the Icelandic settlers treated the "trolls" that lived in the surrounding area. Xisuthros wandered away from the settlement into the frozen wilderness, eventually settling into a new life within an Inuit tribe in northern Canada. He spent more-or-less the rest of human history in this fashion, though he moved south, wandering through the Americas, around the early 1800s.

He is aware of the other supernatural elements of the world, and they are aware of him. Nowadays, like for most of his history, Xisuthros is a wandering homeless man, helping those who need help out of both altruism and sheer boredom.

RP Sample: You know me
