Some say since he has no chance of being re-elected that because of that he is doing this to get the illegal vote. A former governor of the opposition party says he once helped illegals become legal but that he did not support illegals voting in general elections.
Currently, our economy is a major mess, There is talk of a possible default in December. And the only thing the politicians seems to want to talk about is plastic bags, which has been outlawed starting in January 2016, and giving the illegals the right to vote.
What they should be talking about is what is there plan to provide people jobs since unemployment is high but it seems they rather not talk about that.One result of all this is that the left leaning and right leaning nationalists are in agreement in no vote for illegals. Some people have commented if illegals can get the vote then island citizens from here living in other nations should also be allowed to vote.
Found out that in Maryland there is a town which allows illegals to vote in local and county elections. They say in Europe some illegals can also vote in certain elections. Also, illegals here would have to prove they were living here for two years and are planning not to leave for a long time. So what do you think.
