Political Compass of Your Nation's Political Parties

Postby Tegrad » Mon Nov 16, 2015 2:49 pm

I know this has been done a couple times before, but I don't wanna go grave-digging.

This compass shows the 5 political parties of Tegrad and where they stand.

Image

UTC - Union of Tegradian Communists
Currently the second most popular party of Tegrad, the UTC described themselves as Trotskyists. They are seen by many as the most authoritarian of all the parties, however are still very popular due to there stances on many issues, including private property, as they are the only party that clearly states in their manifesto they wish to abolish it. Moreover, they claim they wish to eventually abolish money, all class distinctions and with that they said they will allow the state to wither away.

TRP - Tegradian Revolutionary Party
Formed from the Tegradian Revolutionary Army, the TRP was once the most popular party in Tegrad. However with the emergence of the WSP, their support started to fade. Despite this, they are still one of the major political parties. They wish to grow the military to protect themselves from the ever-growing threat of Russia and have been described as socialists, left-wing nationalists and left-wing populists.

WSP - Workers' Socialist Party
The most popular party in Tegrad and currently in power, the WSP is a democratic socialist party, with influences from Marx and Luxemburg. In their history they have most notably legalised gay marriage, abortion and the consumption of marijuana. They are known to provide assistance to socialist rebels in foreign countries and making drastic improvements to the Tegradian Health Service.

GP - Green Party
The Green Party is one of the smallest parties in Tegrad, founded in 1992. They seek to help preserve the environment and wish to expand the public transportation network to discourage driving cars. They plan to prevent the usage of fossil fuels by switching the country to green alternatives. They are self-described Eco-Socialists.

ACF - Anarcho-Communist Front
The Anarcho-Communist Front is the smallest and newest party of Tegrad formed in just 2007. If they got into power, they would minimise the state and eventually remove it, along with any other form of unjustified authority. Like the UTC, they want to establish a classless, moneyless, stateless society, however their means of doing so are very different.

Yuganesia is classified as a Social Democracy according to Political Compass. (-7, -5) approximately
Lauryn/18/American/Agnostic/ Socially centrist, and economically smack dead in the middle of the left/ Technically Polysexual/Transgender Woman.

One final response from me, and I speak for the entire community of transgender/transsexual individuals... We are not trying to force anything on you or anyone else. It is people like you who put us in situations like this. We just demand the same respect and same rights regardless of how much it is needed in your eyes. Please, it's all I ask at this point.

We are all humans, can't we just stick with that and unite under that identity?"

Be yourself! No one has any right to interfere with your life and what makes you happy. If it doesn't come at the expense of others, why bother?

The Supreme Revolutionary Military Political Society of Our Heroes of the Nation (Filipino: Kataas-taasang Rebolusyonaryo Militar Pampulitika Lipunan ng mga ating Bayani ng Bansa), commonly referred to as the Katarempampulibaba, does not believe in political compasses, just like the People's Party of Zhouran.

Like their Zhouranese ally, the Katarempampulibaba considers itself to be syncretic Third Position. However, since they are strongly committed to National Revolutionary Militarism (Filipino: Pambansang Rebolusyonaryo Militarismo), which combines militarism and nationalism with socialism and Military-Oriented Nationalism (also known as Zhouranese Fascism), both the party and the ideology are considered to be centre-right.

However, the Katarempampulibaba only acts as the political civilian front of the National Revolutionary Armed Forces of the Philippines and was created in order to appeal to the general population. Although it has no true political power, the Katarempampulibaba continues to adhere to the ideas of the NRAFP, as well as the original ideas of the Katipunan, which the organization sees itself as the legitimate successor.

The Peers of Belgica are generally well-educated liberal socialists and social libertarians.
In the other two regions of the Gallic Empire, the Social Democrats are exactly what their name suggests while the Liberal Democrats are a socially liberal, economically centrist party. The only other remotely robust party, the Provinical Christian Democrat Party, is a right-wing and near-theocratic party associated with the Latin Catholic population of Aquitaine.
Underground parties like the Gaulish Communist Party and the Celtic National Socialist Party generally have very authoritarian ideologies and are to the extreme left or right.

The Gandoor Communist Party (GCP) is a left-wing party that supports democratic socialism. (The communist part of their name is an artifact)

The New Democratic Party (NDP) is a centre-left party that supports social democracy.

Both of the above parties have the majority of seats in the Forum and all Prime Ministers, sans one, have been members of one of the two of them. (The one that wasn't was elected as a member of the NDP but left early in his term)

The People's Party of Gandoor (PPG) is a libertarian party that supports the establishment of a capitalist economic system, as opposed to the market socialist one currently used.

The Gandoor Freedom Group (GFG) is a party that advocates an economic and military independent Gandoor and wishes for Gandoor to increase it's military size, as well as supporting measures that would curtail some freedoms Gandoor's citizens enjoy.

The Stalinist Party of Gandoor (SPG) and the Gandoor Fascist Party (GFP) are generally viewed as two sides of the same coin, very minor (less than 3000 members combined) parties that are authoritarian, wish to remove Gandoor from the WA (albeit for different reasons), build up Gandoor's military, make it illegal to criticize the government, place the media under state-control and censorship, etc. The only real difference between the two of them is their views on the economy and religion, the Stalinist Party desires for a full command economy and the outlawing of religion and the Fascist Party desires for a free-market economy and having Christianity being the only religion permitted and requiring adherence to it.

It would be far too difficult to map where Radiatia's two parties stand, as both are very broad. Instead here is a map of where a number of former and present Radiatian leaders stand:

There is technically one Political Party. The Sect of Nahadiism that governs Tafhan. But the political attitudes of The Holy Zhazhimiir and The Radiant Council (Clerical Parliament) vary slightly. But are generally very similar.

Their Basic Political Compass is this.

Libertarian Left
Social Democratic Party: Centre-left party that leans slightly to the libertarian side
Liberal Republican Party: Occupies the same left-right position as the Social Dems, but much more libertarian. Essentially, they agree with the Social Dems on economic issues, but diverge slightly on social issues. Whereas the Social Dems advocate government-led social policy initiatives such as affirmative action and multiculturalism, the Liberal Republicans take a more hands-off approach to these issues.
Green Party: Basically the more extreme version of the Liberal Republicans, with more of an emphasis on environmental issues.

Authoritarian Left
National Labor: Hard-core socialist party. Advocates far-left economic policies and heavy government regulation in regards to social policy.

Libertarian Right
Gandem Falduhr: Regional party that advocates devolution of power and deregulation of the economy.

Authoritarian Right:
Conservative Party: Moderate rightist party. Supports traditional values and market economy.
Actionist Party: Reactionary cousin of the Conservative Party. Advocates a statist approach to both economic and social policy. Believes in government action to preserve Delkoran values and protect it from supposedly hostile "outside" groups (namely immigrants and minorities).

All political parties in our nation are fiercely conservative and dedicated to free-market principles. The Catholic Party is the only party permitted to rule, although the other parties still have representation in the House of the Commoners, the lower house in the Sacred Congress of God.
