Typical rules, no fighting, overtly sexual scenes, respect me, my co-op Tomia and other RPers, and the only species you can use must be humanoid and sentient in some way. Credit goes to the fabulous Tomia for coming up with this brilliant RP. Well, onto the OP:

Welcome to the weirdest place on earth, where future superstars are made and fairies fly around the halls, the Duncan Academy for Performing Arts.

This school has been around for about ten years, located in the great Manhattan, New York, and although it has trained some of the most brilliant and talented peformers and stars in the world, few have heard of it. The reason being, this boarding school/arts academy attends many clientele. Many being of the non human origin and thus more susceptible to judgement and physical harm by the mortal world should they ever be discovered. It was founded on the hope that the mythical creatures and humans could co-exist and one day create a peaceful world, founded by John Evans, a demigod and son of Jupiter and Aurelia Brandon, the half angelic daughter of the archangel Raphael. The two met at a high school for half human children and became fast friends, eventually falling in love and getting married out of college with John going on to be a great football player and Aurelia going on to become a celebrated contemporary artist in her native Paris as well as the world. Their family which consisted of their adopted half fairy daughter Asteria, now a huntress of Diana expanded to include two natural children between the couple who both go to the school although Asteria attends part time. Aurelia is the principal and arts teacher in the school and considers her students as family.

That same principle was used to found the Sports part of the Academy where John, a famous quarterback in the NFL specializes as head football coach. This is the level of the academy for mixed students that teaches and trains in competitive sports such as swimming, football, baseball , track and soccer. Just like the arts students, exceptional students could even earn scholarships in their field of expertise to the college of their choice. However, as alike as these two parts of the school are they are drastically different. The arts students sometimes think the sports are uncouth and low intellect, and the sports think that performing arts are too soft and stuck up. The sports and arts kids have had a  friendly rivalry since the school started and have often tried to outdo each other in contests, but more often then not you can see jocks walking around with ballerinas in the hallways. A school designed to make half human kids feel safe, there's a strong sense of camraderie between them and that's what makes the school so loved.

Bio: Ariana Felicia Evans was born to John and Aurelia Evans as their third child and second biological one together, she has an older adopted sister named Asteria and an older brother, Ana was named because of the tradition in her mother's family of naming their children A names. She also has two aunts who were born late and as such they're only a few years older than her and kind of like siblings more than aunts. She had a happy childhood and a large extended family, being the grandchild of the god Jupiter and the angel Raphael, somewhat spoiled by them all.

Very close to her parents and siblings she spent all her time with them, even with Asteria when she's not off hunting monsters. Her parents were free spirits and encouraged her to explore a number of different fields, but her dad's parents took her to the Nutcracker one day when she was six and she fell in love. She ran back home and immediately told her parents she wanted to be a ballerina. Marie, a retired ballet dancer taught her granddaughter her first ballet steps before she was enrolled in classes. And then her parents founded their school and Ana attended when she was old enough, becoming one of the best dancers and performing shows across New York. She hopes to become famous one day.

Bio: Michael Evans was the first natural born child of the marriage between John and Aurelia Evans. He has an older sister Asteria and a younger sister named Ariana. Michael cares greatly about his family and spends a lot of time with all of them. They have quite a large number of family and family friends, so Michael often split his childhood vacation time between Heaven and Olympus. He has made friends with angels, and Greek immortals all the same.

Michael was raised up with football by his father John, though John never wanted to force his son to follow his footsteps, Michael quickly fell in love with the game himself, wanting to be like his father, playing in front of the big lights and hearing the crowds cheer his name. Michael worked quite hard from a young age soon became a very talented quaterbavk who seemed to have natural leadership abilities. John was quite proud of his son, and was very enthusiastic about the idea of one day being his coach.

However now that Michael has gotten older and is now the starting quaterback for the JV team and the pressure of living up to his father's legacy is starting to get to him. Michael is also having typical teenager problems as he has a huge crush on his sister's best friend Dominique but is too afraid to tell her. Michael is usually quite charming and funny, but around Dominique he often acts quite nervous and shy. It also doesn't help that she is Ariana's best friend, and Michael is afraid that Ariana would be weirded out if be attempted to start a relationship with her.

Still, despite his current issues Michael lives a pretty happy life and enjoys his time at the Duncan academy which he sees as his home.

Bio: Born to Alaina Gavin and Eros, also known as Cupid, Dominique Aurora Gavin was born in Tennessee and raised mainly by her mother, grandfather, aunt and uncle although her father sees her often enough. She's the second of three sisters, having an older sister named Desirae and a younger sister named Delaney, all fathered by Cupid and all three attend the academy. Dominique is actually very close to her grandmother Venus and aunt Samantha, who was overjoyed to have a niece she could spoil. Sam would often take Nicki out shopping and to the theatre, but she was also happy with her quiet life on the land.

Growing up on a ranch house, Nicki is good with animals and often helped cook and around the farm. She always loved dancing and helped save up when she was little to help get dance classes for her, Sam helped out as well. In her ballet classes she met her future best friend Ariana Evans, her mother's cousin's daughter when they were about seven years old. The girls quickly became very close and helped push each other to become their best, developing a friendly rivalry between them. She spent a lot of time with John's family and developed a crush on Michael, Ariana's brother but hasn't told anybody. She got a scholarship to Duncan at thirteen and works on her craft there, getting a number of roles in their productions and becoming one of the top dancers.

However once you earn her respect she is fiercely loyal to you, she is actually a kind girl underneath and loves singing with a passion, throwing herself into her art because she's actually very lonely. Bio: Luciana was born in Milan, Italy as the daughter of the god Apollo and Donna Bartoli, a model and fashion designer. She had a very wealthy and privileged childhood but her mother being so busy rarely had time to spend with her only daughter although she loved her. Lucia was often alone and was spoiled materially to make up for the lack of attention she got, even with her father's pretty frequent visits. She was a lonely girl who found it hard to make friends due to her money and so found solace in music. She played piano from the age of four and had a lovely singing voice which became noticed by her music teacher Donatello Gianni. He trained her voice and worked with her and Lucy loved it, music was her greatest passion in life. However she still longed for attention from her mother and was determined to become the best singer in the world so that her mom would be proud of her. She auditioned for the Duncan school and got in easily, becoming the prima donna of the school because of her voice and earning a reputation as one of the best in her voice class.

Bio: Aurelia Gabrielle Brandon was born as the daughter of the archangel Raphael and his human wife Marie Brandon in Paris, France. The early years of her life were marked by tragedy, she had a twin brother named Alexander whom she is very close to but her family was always on the run, hiding from the angel hunters who were assigned to kill half angels and angels who married humans. They were relatively safe until Aurelia started to date a werewolf named Falun who sold out their location when she broke up with him. Hunters broke into their hideout and killed her father and twin brother but Aurelia and her mother escaped.

Eventually she came to New York where she enrolled in a school for half human children, there she met an alien named Odysseus and became fast friends with him, eventually beginning a relationship. When Aurelia was seventeen years old she found an abandoned half fairy infant in a museum and adopted the baby, naming her Asteria. She raised her with Odysseus until he failed to return from a space mission and Asteria was stolen and taken to the underworld. Her next semester, with her friend Salma, her newly reborn father and her new friends John, Seth and Eric, Asteria was rescued and reunited with her mother. John, a demigod and son of Jupiter became fast friends with Aurelia after their rescue mission, they spent a lot of time together and then confessed their feelings to each other at Salma's ball. Aurelia was scared of falling in love a third time because it had failed so badly but John had captured her heart and loved Asteria as his own. After that, things started to get better for her, she got her brother back and two brand new baby sisters from her parents.

One night, John proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower and Aurelia happily accepted, she supported John in his football career and waited for him to leave college before they married, herself fresh out of art school. Despite being in three relationships, John was the only man she had ever been with physically and it was scary at first but they loved each other and the three lived as a happy family. Months after the marriage, Aurelia discovered she was pregnant with her first natural child and gave birth to her son Michael. Her daughter Ariana was born a year later, Asteria took being a big sister in stride and Aurelia settled down with her husband and her children and her art.
She and John, remembering the hardships of their youth being half human decided to make a place where half bloods like them and their kids could find sanctuary and grow in peace, they bought an old school and fixed it up, founding the Duncan Academy of Performing Arts, Aurelia teaching visual arts and being one of the principals makes sure that the school is a safe environment for the children and that they are happy.

Personality:
Aurelia is a kind and motherly woman, her students often come to her with their personal problems because she's a good listener. She loves her family very much and is very protective of them, especially her husband and three children and still has a lingering fear of losing them because of her past. She's domestic and likes to cook, she's always ready with a quick smile or funny joke. She's very emotional and wears her feelings on her sleeves, unable to hide them. However, she rarely gets angry but when she does its a sight that nobody wants to see.

Julia had a normal upbringing, and was a very homely girl who did her chores without complaints, and who gladly helped in the kitchen. But when she was angered, she was worse than most kids, and what angered her the most was when people mistreated their home (such as walking in with muddy shoes on a clean floor), a trait she had inherited from her spirit father. Still, her mother and stepfather tought her to behave, and nowadays she rarely responds to provocations with disproportionate retribution, even if she makes sure to get back at the wrong-doer. But most of the time she's really sweet, happy and social, and does well in school.

Generally carefree, pleasant to talk to unless irritated, not afraid of a fight and often will have a hard time not leaping to that as the first option when confrontation arises, respects authority figures but does not fret challenging them should he see the need to, gets along better with adults than people his own age and has often been called the "Cougar Hunter" for his particular interest in women 21 to 35 - though has never acted on that interest with any past putting up a lot of talk to his buddies mostly for a couple laughs. Is scary to most as his general appearance can encourage some intimidation, and his knowledge of weapons can be very off putting as well as his general fashion; thus he is not incredibly liked among the student body as most just think he is weird or creepy, more a teddy bear, scary on the outside, but secretly warm and fuzzy on the inside.
Appearance:
Thin masculine features that seem more feminine. He stands at just under six foot tall and weighs one hundred and forty pounds with most if not all of it being lean muscle. Not muscular at all though as he is easily underestimated as being "scrawny" and this fact has often gotten him into physical fights. His features are a mix of aristocratic and native American though as his wide and strong jaw frames a thin face with high cheek bones, a small nose, prominent eyebrows, and lesser prominent eyes of a deep blue color. His skin is very pale, and with his eyes turning red in color at points this leads him to mistaken for an albino or vampire. His hair is always kept short cropped in a very military style and his body is lined with scars, on his right arm a cross shaped pair of cuts lines his forearm from wrist to elbow in length - his right arm has the Nine Line Evac Request tattooed on it. Over his heart is a tattoo of a black medical cross bearing a skull and crossed swords on it. His teeth are very pointed and bright white.

Bio: Virginia born, was sent to Hellford Military Institute from the age of five until the last summer. After the sudden deaths of his adoptive parents he was enrolled in the academy by his state ward. His past is brief due to the nature of it, but he does enjoy writing and reading. At HMI he acted as the Medical Officer though aided with a lot of other student occupations, so he is well rounded and very capable of leadership. His request to join the academy though came after he was given the choice to leave HMI and seek a normal teenage life. Currently he can be found arriving to school in his 1987 Camaro IROC Z28 that is painted black and has a aircraft art shark grimace on the grill with the eyes being on the caliduction on the hood, the rear fenders both holding the white casted version of the USAF aircraft roundel. He has a fascination with fast cars, but is also knowledgeable enough to get greasy and fix it with great resourcefulness as he was often assigned to the convoy that would go from HMI into town to pick up their supply orders from the local grocery. He'll be spotted in the library reading everything he can get his hands on, though it is also common knowledge he carries two rolls of quarters on him at all times.
Special Needs: Time out of class at needed points to contact his guardians. Has been tested and tested positive for PTSD, circumstances not truly known, but it is advised that he been sent to the school counselor regularly as he can develop violent tendencies, has plenty of warning signs before hand though, and if needed can be taken out of school - suspected trauma is violent abuse.

Powers/Abilities: John has shape-shifting abilities in which he is able to take the shape of any animal as long as he can conceptualize it.
Bio: John was born as a result of the short term relationship between the Roman god Jupiter and a mortal by the name of Mary Evans. The two seemed to genuinely fall in love with each other, however being a god, Jupiter was not able to stay with Mary and her unborn child and was forced to leave again for Olympus. This became a large part of John's life as he struggled with anger and trust issues that were always tied to the hole that his father left in his life. Because of this John really only ever became attached to his adopted brother Eric, his mother Mary. However, this changed when John attended the School for Half Humans, when he met his future wife Aurelia. It quickly became clear that Aurelia had a very calming effect on the young demi-god and was there for John during one of the toughest times of his life, the loss of his half-brother Michael. They quickly became very close friends after that incident and John eventually finally revealed his true feelings to Aurelia and they began their relationship in earnest. John cared deeply for Aurelia and Asteria and though he struggled with the idea of being a father, he quickly grew to see them as his family.

After about a year he and Aurelia were engaged and despite having to be separated due to them going to different colleges, but after about two years they were finally married in a large ceremony that all their family and friends attended. After this, John's life clearly changed for the better. He finally accomplished his dream of being drafted by an NFL team and had quite a successful career as a starting quarterback but has retired a bit early in order to spend time with his family as well as to put a focus on the Duncan Academy that he and his wife Aurelia had started together. John has also reconciled a bit with his father Jupiter, though they are still not incredibly comfortable with each other, they are willing to spend time together with their family.
Personality: John is kind and a very caring fatherly type of person. He has always been quite charming and funny, and despite once having a temper, John has become much calmer as he has gotten older, though he is still quite protective of his family and will not tolerate anyone hurting them.

From the union with a human pirate captain, Belvina and has a twin brother named Sky. Born heiress to the throne Bell grew up in peaceful waters, She had a relatively happy life but the oceans are a pretty tough neighborhood, especially with all the humans around fishing all the time and being heiress it was her job to help care for the creatures of her realm.

A swashbucker, or young rebel as those kids are referred to, Bell and her brother often went shoaling with fish, went out to waves, or parties and listened to mer  rock bands, always swimming out to sea and just being a wild adventurer. She of course being half mer could change at will and so went to the Duncan Academy to train her voice to make her magic stronger.

Angel's Gift: Wings, of course!
Holy Fire: She can summon white fire. It hurts the creatures of darkness, but to anyone else it would just feel slightly warm to the touch.
Angel of Darkness: She can unleash a wave of mental anguish and memories on anyone within a radius of five meters. It's not really something she can control. It's unsure whether this hurts her enemies, her allies, or herself more. Somebody get a science team on this, stat!

Personality: Due to her appearance she has had to deal with a lot of teasing, resulting in her being insecure and sad. She's friendly, however, and quite creative.
Appearance: She has long, dark brown hair and dark blue eyes, and abnormally pale skin. However, her neck is twisted so her head is constantly tilting slightly to the left, and her right leg--well, it's not pretty. She never lets anyone see it, keeping it hidden under a blanket.
Powers/Abilities: Let's just say she can practically take her emotions and turn them into art. Her works evoke certain emotions so strongly in the viewer that that's what it appears to be.
Art Class: Drawing/Painting
Bio: Having Proteus syndrome made life hard for Natalie, who always felt ostracized and weird. The fact that she didn't know one of her parents, couldn't walk, and looked... well, rather odd... didn't help matters. From a young age, she was able to create incredible artwork, practically influencing the emotions of others, but her work was often dark and sad. When she wasn't working on art, she often read, preferring horror stories and urban legends. She enjoyed reading about the strange creatures and weird-looking people found in many urban legends, because 'they're just like me'.
