Integralist Army Soldiers storming the Presidential Compound in Nosamo

"...You've heard the news haven't you, Yonaten?"

"...Yes. But I expected him to live at least one month more."

"I've got three divisions under my command, ready to go when the time comes."

"Are General Rhesus, and Admiral Mandoyda on our side?"

"Absolutely. I promised them that they would get free reign to deal with Manya's goons in the Ministry of State Security, they're anticipating it."

"They are with the cause, aren't they, Tierno?"

"Of course, After showing them evidence of what Manya and the SSM are doing to the people, they said that these mass persecutions and killings need to stop. Their divisions and battle groups are fully with us."

"Good, soon enough with the evidence from my feelers within the Ministry of State Security, we can stop this genocide from continuing, gain support from the Army and Navy, and put Manya, Termos, Zelle, and whoever else approved of the atrocities committed here in front of a damn firing squad..."

"We begin moving troops by tomorrow morning."

November 23rd, 2045: The day Ghazan Quardya died... Millions of people within the Integralist Confederation were forced to mourn for their "High Admiral and Eternal President of the New Yaman Junta." As the forced mourning for Quardya started, the situation behind the scenes was just heating up: The New Yaman Junta was falling apart, without the fearless, and brutal rule of Quardya to keep the Generals in their place, this power vacuum would be the Integralist Confederation's undoing...

General Manya denouncing the Coup

On the 25th of November, the people of New Yama woke up to a shock: Two of the youngest Generals within the Junta: Minister of Trade, General Tierno Qando, and Minister of the Interior, General Yonaten Duvier began their coup against the "Interim" Leadership of General Phariso Manya, Minister of State Security. The two Generals took to the airwaves, seizing the Nosamo News Service HQ in Nosamo, and broadcasting their message of Democracy and Peaceful Reunification with the Federal Union of Guadalupador. The message of a return to the Federal Union struck a chord with millions of repressed Dorians across the country, causing many to take to the streets in support of the "Unifiers" all across the nation. The Ministry of State Security on the other hand, started to brutally suppress these protests, as General Manya denounced the coup, and called any people that supported it "Traitors to New Yama," and promised that "not one will survive." Manya formally dissolved the Junta and took on emergency powers, attempting to establish martial law.

"They're everywhere, General Manya! It seems that the entire armed forces have just turned against us!" A senior Ministry of State Security Officer yelled as he angrily smashed his hand onto an electronic map of New Yama. "Why in heaven's name would they do this?! We've got the entire army moving around the north, and attacking our outposts. There's also mass insurrection in the streets of nearly every city, our efforts to contain these ruffians has been complicated by the army protecting them. If they keep on moving through, those traitors will find out about the...camps." He said the last word with a bit of hesitation, as the "forced labor and reeducation camps" as they were formally called were an extremely taboo subject, even with the Ministry that operated them."

"The generals already know about what we were doing..." General Phariso Manya surmised. He cursed himself for the holes in his organization, for letting that sort of incriminating and horrid evidence through the cracks while he was unaware. He shouldn't have trusted anyone, for the operations of the SSM were only really known by two people in the Junta: Manya, and Quardya. "Now they most likely know the extent of what we've been doing for the last fifteen years, and there's hell to pay." Manya calmly said. "Quickly, get Reverend Termos on the line. We need to arrange his escape, same with the rest of your officers. I will lead the Ministry's resistance against those who would wish the dream of Martinez to be snuffed out here."

The other High-Ranking SSM Officers looked at him in surprise.

"This isn't your battle, this is mine, now go and live another day. The Cuscatlanis don't know the major extent, nor what we did in those camps, go to them, and disappear." Manya ordered, and as soon as he finished speaking, the whole command center began to drain of people, while staffers attempted to get rid of incriminating documents, that would hold them accountable.

Later that night, Integralist Army Border Guards along the Federal Union/Integralist Confederation Border began to completely open up checkpoints to civilian traffic. By the next morning, thousands of civilians were flowing across the border, reuniting with the families that were sealed off for nearly twenty years. The Civil Guard Sector of the SSM, in response attempted, but to no avail, to reseal the borders and bring the border guards back under their control. Qando, and Duvier were quickly gaining support of both the People, and the Army in their coup against the repressive dictatorship of Phariso Manya. By November 26th, the entirety of the Integralist Military pledged its support for the Unifiers, and the SSM began open combat operations against their former comrades, by order of Manya's quickly deteriorating leadership. After two weeks, and several large skirmishes, the Army quickly gained control of the country, leaving only Manya and the remainder of the SSM in the Presidential Compound in Nosamo under their control.

Thus began the "Second Nosamo Uprising," with the Integralist Air Force strafing the Presidential Compound, and the Integralist Army fighting the SSM, street for street, all the way up to the Compound. Thousands of citizens living in Nosamo helped the army rout SSM Positions, eventually causing a complete collapse of the entire SSM Command Structure. General Manya's last hours as being the leader of New Yama were at hand. Only Manya's most loyal SSM Bodyguards remained, and fought to the last man against the Army units storming the compound. With the Compound severerely damaged, and the remainder of the Ministry of State Security decimated, General Phariso Manya announced his resignation, and surrender to the Unifier Forces. After the ten minute long televised address, the teary-eyed General left his bunker, and met the Army troops in the courtyard. He was then subsequently arrested by the military, and citizens cheered as he was put into custody, and driven out of the city.

Large celebrations broke out across the two Guadalupadors in reaction to the fall of Manya. The night that General Manya was put into custody, Enrique Yanama, and thousands of other political, social, and religious prisoners were freed by the Unifiers. Enrique Yanama was rushed to Nosamo by the Army, and the 57 year-old former Grand Premier was hailed as a hero upon returning to Nosamo. He spoke to several million people packed into Issha Park to hear him speak. He reassured many that Guadalupador had endured its some of its darkest days, and that only brighter days were ahead. "The Night Has Ended! Now we must greet the glorious dawn with optimism!" He announced, to the grand cheers of the crowd. After the speech, Generals Qando and Duvier placed Yanama in as interim leader of the Integralist Confederation, and announced their resignation.

In celebration, people all across S. Guadalupador destroyed Integralist imagery: Burning portraits and pictures of Admiral Quardya, Guiseppe Trigra, Raul Martinez, Carlos Silva, and more Integralist Icons in large bonfires. Statues of these icons were also pulled down, or even blown to bits by the triumphant citizens, free of repression. The most notable action during these celebrations was the tearing down of the "Rhodes Monument" in Nosamo, which originally replaced the Bethuana War Memorial. People tore off Rhodes' head off the statue, and dragged it through the streets, chanting: "Freedom!" as army APCs pulled the rest of the wreckage away. People honked their car horns as New Yama had finally fallen. The followers of Guadalan were now free to practice openly and held services wherever possible, without risk of the SSM Sector 6: Religious Police Force sending them off to a forced labor/re-education camp.

As the celebrations continued, those officers that were left of the Ministry of State Security rushed to leave the country to escape justice, attempting to gain amnesty in Gran Cuscatlan, and Tragenberg. Though most were captured, and arrested, there were a select few officials within the old high command that successfully left New Yama in the days that followed.

A large crowd attending Enrique Yanama's announcement of the Guadalupadorian Reunification

Now Enrique Yanama was once again leader of Guadalupador. (Well, at least half of Guadalupador.) In his first act as President, he ordered the destruction of the "Quardya's Wall." During Yanama's three week long reign as President, warrants for the arrests of former SSM Commanders and Soldiers that ran the horrifying Forced Labor and Reeducation Camps that killed untold amounts of innocent people during Quardya's reign began to be issued en masse. Along the border between the two Guadalupadors, and announced that New Yama will be effectively dissolved by the end of the year, and reincorporated into the Federal Union of Guadalupador. Yanama and Grand Premier Carlo Bonya of N. Guadalupador met in Nosamo on Christmas Day to discuss the upcoming Reunification of Guadalupador: On January 1st, 2046, Enrique Yanama would resign his post, and the Federal Union of Guadalupador would assume control of the former Integralist Confederation of New Yama, with Nosamo once again, becoming the Capital of the United Guadalupador.

As per the agreement, on the twentieth anniversary of the First Nosamo Uprising, Guadalupador had been reunited, and the long nightmare had ended. Guadalupador was independent of foreign influence once more. January first marked a new Independence Day, the Federal Union of Guadalupador was now here to stay, and the old flag of the Federal Union once again flew over Nosamo. The world's political landscape had changed drastically over the course of a month, who would recognize this change? Who would welcome the newly reunified Guadalupador into the second half of the 2040's? Who would reel back in disgust as Guadalupador becomes whole again? The world would soon find out...

January 3rd, 2046

Trestra, West Arcadonisia

Ten Years, ten long years had passed since Alistar, the true High King of the Arukkai, regained his freedom from his mental prison. However, his freedom came at a terrible price. His powers were severely diminished, as per the contract exacted with the Elders to imprison Marak within a Siphon that holds Alistar's greater power. For him, the price was justified as his lifespan increased ten-fold.

Over the course of ten years, the damages caused by his destructive rampage were repaired, and his reputation recovered as the people slowly discovered the treason behind Alec's actions. Now, his eyes turn west as news of Guadalupador's reunification has made shockwaves around the world. Now that Arcadonisia's greatest ally has regained its freedom, Alistar made it the highest priority to fortify their relations by announcing his unwavering support for Guadalupador's return to its former glory. As he sat at his desk, he began to type.

Enrique,

I extend my congratulations to you for announcing the reunification of your country. It is certain that your enemies will not rejoice in your people's decision to throw off their chains of division, but as your long standing ally, the Arcadonisian people and I are behind you, and will lay down our lives to protect your peoples right to govern themselves.

On another note, it has been far too long since i have seen you, and we have much to discuss, my friend. If it is no trouble, I wish to visit Nosamo so that we can celebrate your victory in person.

Yours,

Alistar Gregorio IV,
High King of West Arcadonisia

Once the email was sent, Alistar rose from his chair and streched, his muscles still aching from a decade's worth of sleeping. His eyes clenched from the absence of a majority of his power. Although he would get used to it in time, he feared that Alec would continue to experiment and perfect his method of Conscious Entrapment, possibly using it on himself as revenge for Alisitar's escape from his grasp. Until the need was great enough, and his will has regained full strength, his Siphon would remain sealed.

Alyssa, who willfully resigned her rights to the Throne, watched carefully as her father still recovered from his imprisonment. Although he was fully healed, the mental damage and scars would always plague him, possibly for thousands of years since the removal of most of his power spared him from the fate of a highly painful death. She shivered at the thought of it, seeing her father pass away. But she could rest now that she knew that he would die peacefully as humans do, thousands of years after she herself has died, that is, unless he chose to drain his Siphon and regain what he gave up. She prayed to Acrimae that it would not be needed, but she knew better. After all, evil, no matter what form it would take, never sleeps.

We understand that the realization of a unified, democratic Guadulapador will alarm Carlos Silva and his "army" a.k.a. hired Riysan thugs. We also understand the factions that remain loyal to the violent and genocidal ideals of Inez Vashan remain existent. Cuscatlan may move to arm, fund, support etc. these organizations. We are prepared to move 15 F-18s, 5 A-10s, 7 Sikorsky "Sea King" helicopters, and 5 Mig-27s covertly to Guadalupador along with 5,000 Regular Army soldiers and 500 Republican Guards. We understand that this could further militarize the situation and will gladly accept a decline. We can also adjust the numbers above.

2200 Hours: 10 Palaven St. Nosamo, Guadalupador. (3/1/2046)

Enrique Yanama stood in front of his old home reminiscing a time that he was enjoying a nice, stable retirement from politics before his own personal nightmare started. Twenty years. He had been in seclusion, a dark prison cell somewhere underground for nearly twenty years. Every once in a while, he'd be taken out of his cell to meet with Quardya for tea. It was some sick joke that Quardya loved to take part in, it was attempt to goad Enrique to descend into madness. To make him feel like an important prisoner, when in actuality he meant nothing to anyone in power. To make him think that his own country hated him, and everything he stood for, and wouldn't care if he had just disappeared. He was repeatedly told such things as he was being tortured and beaten by the Cuscatlani BOEP, and then even more so when he was handed over to Vashan's Ministry of State Secuirty. He was Quardya's trophy, the father of post-nuclear Guadalupador stomped into the ground, and paraded around Quardya's office as if he were some barbarian leader being triumphed in Rome. It made Enrique sick just thinking about his confinement. The 57-year-old Dorian looked as if he were in his late sixties, or early seventies. His hair had gone a complete sickly gray, and his beard had grown out into a black and gray mess. He walked down the snowy street with a crutch, his left leg irreparably damaged by one of Vashan's personal torture sessions 20 years ago. He could still remember that night that his house was raided by BOEP and SSM Operatives: his house ransacked and he was taken out with a burlap sack over his head, and zip-ties applied to his hands and feet. The house's lights were out, but the door was wide open. Yanama took a peek inside, the intricate furniture, and sleek entertainment systems remained: The previous owner of the house had left in a hurry, perhaps an SSM Officer attempting to escape the dying New Yama and subsequent justice. Enrique walked in, using his phone as a light. Yanama felt a flood of emotion as he walked up the stairs that he had no idea that he had tears streaming down his face as he entered his old bedroom, the place where he was arrested by an unjust regime. The former occupant's computer laid on the same Arcadonisian mahogany desk that Enrique was gifted by Alyssa Gregorio as a sort of retirement present. He took a deep breath, sat down at the desk, and turned new, advanced computer on. Blue light flooded the dark room, as he got on the internet, and tried to access his old personal e-mail. He smiled as the e-mail site still recognized his account.
*5197 New Messages*
All of them seemed to have been either spam, or personal correspondence dated to 2025 through 2027. Mostly concerned people that he had personally known over his years as Grand Premier, or even before, hearing about his arrest and wanting to confirm that he was being treated fairly with a hopeful release. The most recent message caught his eye: It was from someone he thought was dead, he had attended Alistar's funeral... Apparently Arukkai can return from the dead? he thought as he read through Alistar's e-mail. He got to typing a response.
Alistar Gregorio,

It is a great, and pleasant surprise to know that you have apparently returned to the world of the living. May I know how you've returned to life? I apologize, but I've been in a political prison for nearly twenty years, and certainly out of public life. I had only learned about a few current events as I was being driven to Nosamo during the coup, and while I was in office for three weeks. Please, when you arrive in Nosamo. Regale me with a more accurate account of current events, and recent history. I shall be the first to wait for you at the airport. I need a little catching up to do, to be brutally honest.

I appreciate the support of a most trusted ally, Guadalupador will support the good hopes and wishes of the Arcadonisian people, both Human and Arukkai for the rest of our days.

Your Confused Friend,

Enrique Yanama.

Enrique sent the message, and shut off the computer. He quietly sneaked out of his own former house, and went off back to a former SSM Officer's Club where he had been staying for the past few days.

1600 Hours: En Route to Nosamo. (3/1/2046)

Aboard the Grand Premier's Jet, Yuna One, Grand Premier of the newly reunited Guadalupador, Carlo Bonya went through several diplomatic missives, most congratulating him and others in his effort at reunifying Guadalupador. At some point he checked upon the missives from Hatay. Bonya smiled as he read the first public message from the Hatayan government. They would support the new Guadalupadorian nation in its endeavors. The second message was top secret, and he gritted his teeth. He wasn't the militaristic man, and he still believed in the idea of peace before war. He didn't wish to cause a large international incident by letting foreign troops back into Guadalupador, the Cuscatlanis seemed to be jumpy, and they haven't even responded to the declaration of reunification yet, which put Bonya on edge. If he let the Hatayans in, there's no saying in how they'd react.

The Tula Imperial Arms Company
ТИМОК

To His Excellency, The Grand Premier of the Federal Union of Guadalupador,

Greetings and salutations!

I am writing to you today as the representative of the Tula Imperial Arms Company, chartered under the authority His Imperial Majesty Peter VII. We have noted the happy event of your country's reunification, and wish to offer our most sincere congratulations and wishes of many more years of prosperous rule to your new, or renewed rather, government. In order to further secure and ensure that government, we are pleased to extend to you an offer of mutually beneficial exchange, most notably we are currently seeking a partner government with which to establish a long-lasting export agreement.

Our factory is the foremost manufacturer of small arms and light crew served weapons in the Empire, established in 1721 and in continuous operation since. Our line of assault weapons, descended from the venerable VA-1947 has served the Empire continuously for centuries, albeit with embellishments here and there. Naturally, we also provide an array of machine guns, rifles, pistols, shotguns, and similar built to police and military specifications.

To demonstrate to your excellency the high standard of quality TIMOK sets, we have dispatched for your approval the latest in our assault weapon line, an executive model VA-1947/M2777. This weapon employs magnetic acceleration to fire 2mm slivers extracted from a ferrous block, and is capable of accepting virtually any metal which will fit into its hopper as ammunition, although the blocks we manufacture for it are ideally shaped and alloyed for best performance. These slivers will penetrate conventional infantry armor at most combat ranges and, while performance of a single sliver against composite plates is limited, the weapon fires in bursts of ten, and is quite capable of pulverizing any such plates with that level of firepower.

The executive model provided to your excellency comes with a folding stock and carrying case, ideal for the traveling national leader, as well as a variety of useful attachments allowing customization of the weapon to fit the taste of the user.

Should this meet with your excellency's approval, we would be pleased to discuss further shipments, costs and similar. Naturally, if you are interested in heavier items of military paraphernalia, I would be pleased to put you in contact with my counterparts at NAZ, who supply logistical vehicles of all sorts, and OMZMASH, the Empire's primary provider of heavy armor.

In hopes of a fruitful relationship,
HHE Konstantin Wrangel
Chartered Head of TIMOK
I AM DISAPPOINTED

Capital Building, Olympia, Unitary State of the United Remnants of America
3-1-20146

President of the Unitary State of the United Remnants of America Gabriel Drake was watching two screens at the same time. The first screen was the television screen on his presidential office's left wall. On the Remnant National News, the crew was running a story of footage they'd received from Guadalupador over the past few days concerning several speeches, rallies, celebrations and the like. The Dorians seemed ecstatic about the reunification of their nation and of the release of Enrique Yanama, which to Drake seemed to be one of the greatest Dorian heroes of this century.

Drake and his nation's relationship with Guadalupador was spotty, at best, but it was always friendly. There as no major formal interaction between the two nations, and Drake even doubted their mutual history went back the twenty or so years to when Mr. Yanama had been in power. Nonetheless, it seemed like there had been several instances in reports he'd read where Remnant and Dorian soldiers had fought side by side in conflicts just by pure luck, such as the civil war that sparked in Arcadonisia. Either way, the personal accounts he'd heard were that Dorians generally got along well when they interacted with Remnants. And while he was certainly aware of the split in Guadalupador existing, he hadn't been fairly vocal of the situation due to much more pressing matters elsewhere.

The other screen that Drake was watching was the screen of his personal computer, sitting on his great imported oaken desk. The screen was opened to a blank email prompt, a blank subject, but an intended receiver of the Dorian Grand Premier, Carlo Bonya. Drake didn't know what to write. He didn't know where to begin, or even where to go from a beginning. Drake sighed and leaned forward slowly in his heavy stuffed chair and began to type:

To: Carlo Bonya, Grand Premier of Guadalupador, cbonya@guadalupador.gov
From: Gabriel Drake, President of the United Remnants of America, gdrake@ura.gov
Subject: Congratulations

Mr. Grand Premier,

Hello, Mr. Bonya. You may not know me, but I am aware of you. My name is Gabriel Drake, and I'm the democratically elected president of the Unitary State of the United Remnants of America. Our two great nations have had dealings in the past. We've supported each other both politically, and militarily in past conflicts, yet our two lands have never had any separate, official dealings. With the sending of this piece of electronic correspondence, I wish to change that. Both on the news, and through diplomatic channels, I have heard of the new dawn into which your nation is heading, with the recent reunification of your separated peoples.

I'm possible, I want the URA to be there for Guadalupador. I want our nations to be what their always should have been: friends and allies, standing strong and tenacious on the brim of danger, laughing with strength in the face of defeat. I want our nations to become partners, not only politically, but also economically and militarily. Together, we can stand firm against any foreign aggressors. All that I ask is that you give my people the chance and the patience. If you would prefer, we could speak in person about such topics, or we could delegate such duties to representatives of our two esteemed governments.

In deepest congratulations and regards,

Gabriel Drake, President of the Unitary State of the United Remnants of America

Drake hit "send" and leaned back in his chair. His face turned upwards and he stared blankly at the white-washed ceiling of his office. A glare of sunlight reflecting off the bulletproof glass window behind him had reflected onto the ceiling and was playing across the featureless white surface. Drake's eyes followed the sunlight as he let out a breath, emptying his lungs entirely before inhaling again. Whatever may come of this, Drake knew deep in his heart it was the right thing to do. The URA stood with nations and organizations that had been friendly to the URA. It was an old policy, and maybe even somewhat outdated and antiquated, but Gabriel Drake didn't go back on a word, and he'd made close allies out of nations with a word like that. Leaders of Lolloh, the Organized States, and even the Bayan all respected him for that quality, and he only hoped that Carlo Bonya would as well.

Gregorio Memorial Airport, Trestra, 2046

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" asked Alyssa as she walked with her father towards the jet that would take him to Nosamo. "It's not that I don't think you're weak, I..I just don't want to risk losing you again."

Alistar paused to look into his daughters eyes, seeing the pain of his absence. He had unintentionally peered into her mind, seeing Elliott and Him both dead. A single tear fell down his cheek before he let go. "I'll be alright, Alyssa. After all, I still got several thousand years to go yet." said Alistar as he let off a faint smile. "Maybe in time, you will walk in my footsteps, as Mael did mention that Naturals as powerful as you and I will all have to make this choice. Believe me, i didn't want this, none of us would dare dream of waking up nearly powerless."

"I know, dad. I feel terrible for doing this to you. I panicked when Mael and Nathan tried to kill you." In truth, Alyssa knew it was the right thing to do, saving her father. After all, it was her actions that spared their hands and made Nathan and Mael realize that Alistar's mind could be fixed. Although none knew the extent of the consequences and benefits that would come of having your powers ripped out.

"I believe you were in the right, my dear. After all, 15 years of mind-breaking torture by Alec's hand brought me to the point of death. It shouldn't be completely unexpected that the potent power that runs though my.. our veins would allow its vessel to die so quickly. Now that we know that Marak and the Trinity is alive out there, our efforts to reach Angoughtur must intensify. I feel that we will discover our final fate there, provided we are ready to make the ultimate sacrifice."

Alyssa and Alistar both paused as they reached the jet, a cold breeze blew by, kicking up the fresh snow that blanketed the tarmac. The doors to the jet popped open as Alistar climbed the staircase, giving his daughter one last glance, revealing his youthful smile before securing the door himself. Alyssa waved, then as the jet rushed down the tarmac and ascended into the air, the turned and left for the Grey Quarter to think over her fathers unexpected revelation.

**TWO HOURS LATER**

A few seconds of turbulence faded away as the jet lowered beneath the icy clouds, revealing the heavily damaged city of Nosamo, of which he had visited many times years before. Alistar didn't believe eyes when he saw the damage wrought by the traitors that brought southern guadalupador to its knees. Alistar brushed his suit and adjusted his tie as they touched down on the pavement, slowing to a halt. After looking in the mirror, Alistar's silver eyes shone with great intensity, almost luminescent. He frowned as the dark circles under his eyes exaggerated the effect, as the signs of physical stress were apparent. It made no difference to him in the long term, as his body would repair the damages, and would look youthful once more.

As he opened the door, he realized his eyes, which were plagued with light sensitivity thanks to his powers, were no longer pained by the steady stream of sunlight pouring through, another side-effect of the absence of a majority of his powers that he could get used to and enjoy. His eyes adjusted as he spotted Enrique from several dozen feet away, and smiled.

1300 Hours: Alexi Chenko International Airport. Nosamo, Guadalupador. (4/1/2046)

Enrique Yanama quietly stood in the terminal, watching the planes of all sorts take off and land at the Airport. Military transport planes from the north ferried in supplies, and troops into the city to help with the relief and rebuilding efforts while civilian passenger planes once again took off for faraway destinations, now free of all travel regulations that the New Yaman regime used to prevent people from leaving. He felt a soft squeeze on his right forearm. It was Samia Ryueva, Enrique's wife of nearly 30 years, whom had been kept out of the public eye since the two eloped in 2016. Enrique's 26 year-old son, Manco Yanama was quick to follow, and lastly, his daughter, Drucilla whom had just celebrated her 21st birthday. Enrique's family was one of the best kept secrets in the Federal Union's history. Only people that he trusted with his life were allowed knowledge of their existence, since he kept them out of the public eye on account of Enrique's various enemies, and the example of Alistar's husband's murder, and Alyssa Gregorio's kidnapping at the hands of Falangist and Cuscatlani thugs. It was difficult for Samia, and Manco at first, not seeing Enrique for long periods of time, but they understood why they were being protected. When Trigra first announced his coup, Enrique immediately sent his family out of Guadalupador the day Natalya Saiko was exiled with his old connections within the DIA. After the uprising, and subsequent breakup of the country, the family wouldn't see Enrique for 20 years. Yanama smiled as he was surrounded by his family again, he had been spending a lot of time with them recently, trying to make up for 20 years without them. As Enrique pecked Samia's cheek, he turned to see Alistar, and leaned on his cane. Enrique slowly covered the distance, and greeted Alistar in Dorian. "Alistar! Hello, my friend. It's been years... Did Alyssa tell you about my family? Let me introduce them to you over tea."

Grand Premier Carlo Bonya stood out in the cold, snowy greenspace overseeing the controlled demolishing of the New Yaman Junta's Compound, which was built over the old wreckage of the Grand Premier's Residence. Bonya smiled as he saw the tall defensive walls come down, and the concrete watchtowers implode in on themselves. The event attracted hundreds of journalists from Guadalupador, and around the world to witness what Grand Premier Bonya announced as "DeQuardyafication" or "De-Integralization."- The Dismantling of all Integralist institutions, ideological symbols, and propaganda within the former nation of New Yama.

Carlo smiled as he saw the symbols of Integralist Tyranny crumble before his own eyes, proving to the world that Integralism would be doomed to failure given enough time. As the walls of the Junta Compound collapsed, the Grand Premier felt his tablet vibrate in his hand. It was a wave of new messages. Carlo then instantly replied to each one:

Mister President,
I have been aware of the various indirect dealings between our nations that had occurred under my predecessor, Saito Marcos. It is quite unfortunate that our two nations have never officially opened up diplomatic channels, and I would happily accept your offer for international support. It is in my highest hopes that the URA, and the Federal Union of Guadalupador will become strong allies, ready to rout foreign aggression, from both of our countries. As you have said before, our countries should have been friends a long, long time ago.

This export agreement seems incredibly appealing. This special offer of opening up factories, and giving impoverished Dorians living in the former New Yama a new opportunity and lot in life while giving our armed forces something of an edge over our hostile enemies will surely be approved by a vote within the National Assembly. I will introduce a bill detailing the proposal from TIMOK in the National Assembly, tomorrow morning. May this export deal be a sign of better things to come.

Declaración Pública del Presidente Eduardo Jimenez-Gavrila

Image

Greetings people of Chuchara, La América Libre Grande, and The World;

It has by now come to all of our attention that Guadalupador is once again reunited as a single nation. While many revel in what they see as a victory and condemn those they find responsible for meddling in the affairs of the Dorians and exploiting their civil strife for their own game, we would all do well to remember that these same people were responsible for exploiting strife and causing internal division and conflict themselves. Let those who hiss and scorn at the remnant holdouts of the SACTO-backed New Yama regime see the scars of our own recent battle against the last dying embers of the DIA-backed Campos regime.

I do hope for peace and a future where our children can learn to understand and respect each other, but should this reunion of the two Dorian states mark an era of whence they return to their past meddling affairs, then let me warn them the people of Chuchara and her allies will not be so open to foreign corruption and infiltration...

When Alistar looked at Enrique's family, memories of his late husband Elliott flashed through his head, searing his mind with immense pain. "She hasn't told me much, i'm afraid. She didn't want to overload me with what has happened over the past 15 years, but i digress. I must say, your family is a wonderful sight." said Alistar in dorian calmly as he reached out his mechanical hand to shake the hands of each member of Enrique's family, suddenly feeling uneasy on how his metallic arms warped his appearance.

"I would have brought you to meet my extended family, Enrique, as my daughter has sons of her own. Twins, and already ten years old, adults in human years." Alistar then smiled as they slowly made their way back to catch up on past events. As they walked, Alistar couldn't help but to notice the destruction that still rocked Nosamo, despite vigorous efforts to rebuild. It reminded him of the struggles back home, and how he would deal with Alec's treachery and reunite Arcadonisia through force, because he knew all too well that the passage of time would not heal the divisions he caused. Given enough time, he thought, Alec would attempt to invade the West, to make the whole country his playground and continue to upset the careful balance between light and dark that the Order of Grey and Light Naturals has fought and bled for to maintain for thousands of years.

With the thoughts of war on his mind, his frown became more evident as a frightening question popped into his mind. If war were to erupt between him and Alec, would the people support his efforts to retake the East and restore the Order, and how much Arukkai blood would be spilled to achieve peace and unity?

Your Excellency,

We thank you deeply for the most generous offer and will give due consideration to an expansion of our current manufacturing facilities. It may, of course, be some time before sufficient support can be gathered for such an expansion, but I assure you it will be discussed with interest on my next visit to the State Duma. In the meantime, I have directed that a catalog of likely items be assembled for your excellency's perusal.

I have been informed that, due to recent colonial setbacks in the Gamma Quadrant, that we do currently have a shipment of some 10,000 VF-72/M12 assault rifles with approximately one million rounds of 5.45x39mm ammunition ready to go, but with no destination. The VF-72/M12 is essentially a modernization of the venerable VA-47 designed to be built simply and with speed to equip colonial and partner state military units in emergency situations. It is, however, highly reliable and very easy to maintain with even the simplest tools. If your excellency is interested, we have been directed to rid ourselves of these quickly, and would be pleased to dispatch them to Guadalupdor at a rate of 70 roubles per weapon, or roughly $NS120 each, a total of $NS1,200,000. The ammunition can be considered a gift in hopes of an amicable future relationship.

Sincerely,

HHE Konstantin Wrangel
Chartered Head of TIMOK
I AM DISAPPOINTED

Enrique's Temporary Residence, Nosamo. Guadalupador

"The tea should be ready in a minute or two." Enrique said as he walked out of the small kitchen and into the living room, where his wife, son, daughter and Alistar all sat around a small wooden table filled to the brim with coffee cakes, and scones. "Now, what happened in the last twenty years or so?" He said, as he sat next to Samia, and wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "I was essentially in a box for that entire time, what's going on in Arcadonisia, and the rest of the world?"

1500 Hours: Issha Park, Nosamo, Guadalupador. (4/1/2046)

After the demolition of the New Yaman Junta Compound, Grand Premier Carlo Bonya turned back to the hundreds of journalists and onlookers in the frigid air, and walked up to the podium set up for Enrique Yanama a few weeks before. The Grand Premier looked down towards the crowd, and all around for the journalists. The lights were now set on him, now the people of the world would witness a Guadalupador renewed.
Fellow Dorians, and People of the Free World:
What we have witnessed here today, was the final breaths of a dead regime. A totalitarian regime supported by foreign powers, one that is responsible for unspeakable terror, and millions of deaths over the course of two decades. As I speak, some of the men that have executed mass crimes against the Dorian People, no, humanity are still out there, attempting to escape justice. These soldiers, and officers of the New Yaman Ministry of State Secuirty are trying to flee Guadalupador towards countries that approved of their acts, and endorsed their campaign in causing mass human suffering in the name of Raul Martinez, and Integralism. So much heinous acts of crimes against humanity were purported to have been committed in New Yama, that several news outlets are calling what Quardya and the Ministry of State Security did, the Guadalupadorian Genocide. To be brutally honest, the initial reports of the liberation of several reeducation camps point in that exact direction...
We have set up a commission to investigate the mass war crimes committed under Admiral Ghazan Quardya's military rule over Southern Guadalupador, and the first reports on the Investigative Commission on the Guadalupadorian Genocide will be released within two weeks. After that, in March of this year, utilizing the evidence released from the commission, war crimes trials will begin against the alleged perpetrators and officers present within these death camps. Of course, there will be those that will attempt to escape, as some have already tried. Their crimes against the Guadalupadorian people, and humanity as a whole won't be forgotten, and I call on all leaders of the world to not accept these men within your country if they plan to claim political asylum. They are international criminals, only deserving detainment, and extradition back to Guadalupador to face trial. I call on the leaders of the world to work with the Federal Union, and help us track down those that wish to escape justice. Today marks a new age in the foreign relations of Guadalupador. An age of cooperation, and peace.
After our extended division as a country, we've seen the errors of our ways, the sins of the previous administrations, our mistreatment of our smaller allies, including installing a certain leader that went completely rogue in a certain country in close proximity to Gran Cuscatlan, and Inyursta... The Chucarans deserve an apology. I apologize for our misguided foreign policy, shaped by the fear of Cuscatlani incursion on our home soil. I apologize for the sins of the Yanama Administration in placing a DIA presence within Chucara in the first place, it was the wrong thing to do. Today's Guadalupador will know better than to influence elections, and play dirty geopolitics. Today's Guadalupador sees every other nation in the world as an equal. We sincerely hope that Chucara, and other nations within Latin America can reciprocate... We will not interfere in the politics of nations for our own advantage, the Chucarans know the price, as do we, when the Cuscatlanis propped up New Yama. The New Guadalupador will not act as some bloated imperialist country filled with ideological chauvinists funding the military to intervene in countries that its demagogue and his friends don't like. We have learned, and we will move past it. The culture, and lifestyle of the Dorians is for the Dorians only, we will not force a foreign country or a people to bend to our will, their will is their own, and ours is ours.
I surely hope that the world will embrace the new Guadalupador and work with it to help make the entire world a better place, a safer, and freer world. A world where we will all be seen as equals on the world stage, where the tenets of imperialism will die out and make way for international cooperation and friendship.
Thank You All, God Bless Guadalupador, and May the Old Gods Preserve Guadalupador

Enrique's Residence, Nosamo, Guadalupador

Alistar sat quietly as he examined Enrique's family. He was happy to see Enrique was finally able to re-connect with his family, even through all the hard times he has experienced as of late. It didn't take more than a second for Alistar to fill in Enrique with all the happenings inside the Arcadonisian Homeland.

"I'm not going to lie, my friend." said Alistar as he reached for a scone and put it on a dish. "Things have been rough all around, not just for me, but for all Arcadonisians. I'm still coming to terms with all of this myself. After all, I too have been imprisoned, in horrifying ways you couldn't imagine. I was thankful enough that my daughter spared my life, and she informed me of everything that has transpired over my absence." Alistar then paused to take a sip of his black coffee before continuing. "Now, since I have come back to power, things are changing. Granted, my daughter has done the best she could to preserve our way of life when i was gone, and the people accepted her rule because when they saw her, they saw a bit of myself, gaining her trust. Now that the public has seen first hand what Alec and his cronies have done to me, their attention is turning to the East. I've held multiple public events on the matter, and an overwhelming majority want to retake the East so that we are no longer divided as a species. I agree with them wholeheartedly and I know as well as you do that my kind is not welcome on Earth, not anymore. Alec has desecrated the balance that has kept us at peace with most of the human world, as well as the stability of relations between the different Natural Orders."

Alistar paused momentarily, feeling a wave of weakness pass over him, a signature of the absence of his powers and waved it off, He then realized that he was a changed man, even Enrique could notice a slight change in Alistar's personality and mannerisms, especially when Alistar said something so unexpected as this. "You know, i do plan of retaking the East, I do. However, despite everything, I can make no promises that Alec will live. I fully intend on killing him, for everything he has done, not just to me, but to everyone."

Halsey International Public Airport, Olympia, URA

Deputy Ambassador Lee Ross pushed the thin-framed glasses higher up on his nose. He was the younger of the two assistants to the URA's Chief Ambassador, which meant that he always got the short-notice trips. A hastily-planned flight to Guadalupador was one such trip. All the diplomat had on his person was a messenger bag full of documents and papers, a small carry-on with a change of clothes, and the suit he was wearing.

The airport was busy enough for the time and day he was here, but it wasn't so crowded that he couldn't make his way to his gate and terminal to board. The airport never really was that busy, anyways. At least, not as busy as some other airports he'd been to in other countries. The URA wasn't exactly a tourist destination, and not many people in the URA traveled due to price or time. Most of the people at the airport were either Remnant businessmen, foreign diplomats and businessmen, or foreigners on a layover. Either way, it was a nice kind of pace for Ross, who was able to board onto his plane without much to do. The only downside was that the plane was an Origin Corporation Airlines flight. Origin Corporation was the smallest of the URA's corporate trinity, and it handled the transportation, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Ross supported his country, but he was personally against using Origin Corp products; He avoided their mass transit systems whenever possible, mostly because he noticed they were of a shoddy construction compared to other nations' systems.

7 Hours Later, Guadalupadorian Airspace

Ross was jostled awake by some light turbulence. The Remnant grumbled quietly to himself. As the plane lowered in altitude towards landing. Ross didn't have a window seat, but images flashed in his head of the reports on the country in his messenger bag. An equatorial nation with political instability. Recently reunited with a piece that was under independent control.

Ross didn't know what the leadership was going to be like, but he knew that he had a job: He was to meet the leader of this country, the Grand Premier Carlo Bonya, and officially request the opening of diplomatic relations with Guadalupador. He was then to stay for the proceedings on what those relations were to hold. Personally, Lee Ross did not want to be here, doing this. He wanted to be back home as Chief Ambassador, doing nothing but talking on the phone or on webcam from time to time, but no, Chief Ambassador Devon Miles was still alive, despite his cholesterol level saying he should've keeled over ten years ago. Until then, Lee would have to play a big smile and deal with some backwater nation. Just so long as Lee didn't get malaria first.

Alexi Chenko International Airport

As several construction workers chipped off and removed the old Martinezist propaganda, and signs calling the airport "Raul Martinez International Airport," two Guadalupadorian Ministry of State Affairs officials waited in the busy terminal for Lee Ross to arrive. Time was of the essence, as they stood waiting, war criminals were inching further and further into Gran Cuscatlan, and other Integralist-Martinezist states. As soon as they saw the URA's Deputy Ambassador. "There he is, gate three." One officer pointed out, as they witnessed Ross disembark the plane. The two officials rushed over to him, and informed him that he'd meet with Carlo Bonya immediately: "Welcome to Guadalupador, Mister Ross. Grand Premier Bonya is expecting you. We'll take you to him, he's at the old New Yaman Integralist Army General Headquarters." the other official spoke as they ushered the Deputy Ambassador out of the airport.

Enrique's Temporary Residence

"You must understand, that not all of humanity wants the Arukkai dead. Those fools in Coastbourne, and Tragenberg don't speak for humanity as a whole, as much as they'd like to." Enrique said softly. He sighed in response to Alistar's last statement, about Alec Massen. "You sound like me, when I first was imprisoned.... I wanted to kill Vashan, and Quardya so much. It was safe to say, that I hated them." The room fell to a short silence. Enrique then softly continued: "But what happens when you do get your revenge? Is that it? Would you feel any better? Or would you rather put him on trial, for crimes against your people, and let them decide his fate. This man, he's caused mass amounts of suffering, wouldn't you let your people have a slice of the pie?" Yanama then sipped his tea. "Phariso Manya, he'll certainly be put to death, and the Dorians that he tried killing won't let him live out the rest of his life. This type of retribution, it should be decided by the people whose lives he ruined, and family members killed..."

There was a knock at the door. "You stay here, dad. I'll get it." Manco said, before rising up to answer the consistent and frantic knocking at the door. "Yes, yes, what is it?" Manco asked.

"Is Alistar Gregorio here?" A Ministry of State Affairs official, dressed in a thin black suit asked, trying to look into the living room.

Manco nodded, and turned back to Alistar. "Somebody is asking for you, Your Majesty." Manco reeled back, as the official forced his way into the room.

"King Alistar Gregorio, Grand Premier Bonya requests your presence immediately. It is of utmost importance." The Official reported. "Your Majesty, we will drive you to the New Yaman Integralist Army General HQ, there you will meet with the Grand Premier."

Carlo Bonya, Yonaten Duvier, Tierno Qando, and several Guadalupadorian Intelligence Service officials awaited both Lee Ross, and Alistar Gregorio. On the table was a collection of intelligence files on former Ministry of State Security officials that slipped through the cracks and were currently on the run, along with several unsigned criminal extradition treaties. Bonya checked his watch, and tapped his foot impatiently. These two officials needed to be briefed as soon as possible.

"Okay.." said Alistar calmly as he finished his coffee. "Maybe I overreacted when i said that. However, that doesn't change the fact that we are not being closely watched with suspicion by everyone. And I do mean everyone., except for you and a handful of other human nations that have accepted us. On the other hand, I can agree with your advice on the subject of Alec. He cannot be allowed to live. Once he dies, then the information on his pet projects dies with him. No one else will have to struggle to survive like I did. Ever."

With that, Alistar heard his name from across the room as his ears perked up. He silently wondered why he was being mentioned when the Official addressed him directly, gaining his full attention. "Of course, i understand." he said as he turned towards Enrique and apologized. "I'm so sorry my friend, it seems like the Premier Bonya has need of me, for reasons unknown." said Alistar as he addressed Enrique's kids and bowed slightly at the waist. "I will return, and we can finish our discussion. Until then, take care, Enrique." Alistar reached out his hand and shook it firmly before being escorted out of Enrique's residence, where he was taken to the HQ where he would meet Bonya to explain the reason for this unexpected visit.

Remnant Deputy Ambassador Lee Ross felt rushed along even as the Dorian minor officials pushed and pulled Ross into and then out of a staff car to only be pushed and prodded again towards a building. Ross didn't know where he was, but a sign that was in the process of being torn down by Dorian workers signified the building as a former headquarters for the Integralist Army of New Yama. Ross made a mental note of this. He'd read the reports to know that New Yama was the name that the pretender breakaway nation went by. To take over the buildings of the fallen regime so quickly showed not only a will to scrub New Yama's influence from the earth but also an organizational speed that only a truly competent leader could implement. Lee's interest was piqued: He wanted to meet this man.

A front door was opened for him, and then he was quickly ushered through a series of corridors and extra doors until reaching a final door that was opened. Inside were several people who appeared to be staffers and officials of varying ranks. A man at the table in the center of the building drew Ross' attention, his face being on one of the first files Ross read. Lee extended his head, bright white teeth flashing under glasses glaring from the room's lighting. "Grand Premier Bonya. It's nice to finally meet you. My name is Lee Ross, and I'm a representative from the United Remnants of America."

Former New Yaman Integralist Army General HQ

Grand Premier Bonya looked up from the various documents that he was studying and smiled as Lee Ross, and Alistar Gregorio arrived in the so-called "Situation Room." Former Generals Qando, and Duvier gathered several files and documents together as the men arrived, and helped to clear the table. Bonya gestured the two of them to sit down at the metal table. "Welcome to Guadalupador, gentlemen." Bonya started. "I apologize for interrupting your visit with Enrique Yanama, Your Majesty." He then walked over towards a holomap, and turned it on. A concise 3D map of the world appeared on the metal table, and flickered as Bonya moved towards Ross, and Gregorio. "We've got a situation. As I have said in my speech last night, international war criminals are on the loose, and attempting to escape justice. While we have captured a majority of the former New Yaman Ministry of State Security command structure, some have fallen through the cracks and are on the run. Qando?" Bonya waived over former General Tierno Qando to begin presenting.

"Yes, from personal knowledge of the inner workings of the Ministry of State Security through our old feelers in the organization, along with help from the Guadalupadorian Intelligence Service, we've compiled a list of 52 of the most prominent SSM Officers still at large. These are the worst of the worst, they're rich, dangerous, and have international connections." General Qando started. Several countries started to light up on the map of the world. "These countries, outlined in red: Gran Cuscatlan, Tragenberg, Bashyyria, Nihon, and several other countries related to SACTO are their possible destinations. From there, they'll most likely disappear, and won't be found. Unless the Cuscatlanis are feeling rather generous, we won't get these guys back to be tried for crimes against humanity. Now, here's the reason you've been called here by the Grand Premier:"

"We need your help in capturing them in transit. Combined, our collective intelligence gathering efforts can bring these scumbags to justice." Carlo Bonya announced. "We call the list, the Deck of 52, corresponding to a deck of playing cards." He brought back the small stack of papers that were originally on the paper and passed them out to the two guests. "These are extradiction treaties, and a bit of additional information about the effort.

Alistar looked at the treaties carefully, and quickly made his decision without a second guess. "Well, I can assure you that I have no qualms about enacting this extradition treaty. If you haven't noticed, the Arcadonisian people have a strong dislike for those abominations after what they did to Guadalupador." said Alistar as he glanced at the map, looking intently at Tragenburg, which he refused to acknowledge as a nation. After a few seconds of thought, he hoped that they wouldn't make their way into East Arcadonisia, where Alec would be sure to cater to them, despite the clash of ideals. Alistar then recalled a certain phrase that shook him, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Lee looked over the map and pointed to a red shape on the surface. "That's the URA. Our nation does hold several open treaties and agreements with the SACTO organization." Lee looked back up to Bonya and kept speaking with the blank look of a poker player, "However, I'm sure the treatment of wanted fugitives and what to do with them hasn't been covered in any of those agreements and treaties. If any of these wanted personnel ended up on a flight to my country, well..." Ross took the papers and started looking them over as he kept talking, "Well, I guess it would just matter whether you wanted to deal with them or not. I'm sure international war criminals would pull a hearty income if he were to end up on the televised state-sponsored gladiatorial penal tournaments..." Ross gave Bonya a pointed look. The Deputy Ambassador wondered in Bonya would get the inference that Ross was offering a deal to rid the runaway fugitives in a pay-per-view gladiator contest, one where the Dorians could split the profits with the URA. This was going by the assumption that the URA's penal gladiatorial contests were known in Guadalupador like they were known elsewhere.

Bonya nodded as Alistar accepted the proposal. In his mind, he knew that the King of Arcadonisia would accept and sign the treaties of cooperation nonetheless, Guadalupador and Arcadonisia both had a prideful past of international cooperation and friendship for nearly four decades. Carlo then addressed the Remnant American. "I understand that the URA has warm relations with the Santiago Pact. Though, the Federal Union isn't banking on the entire Pact as being this haven for war criminals. SACTO is filled with good nations, there's only one large faction that we're worried that'll shelter the Deck of 52. It's the militarist faction led by the Cuscatlanis." Bonya then typed a few commands into a nearby tablet, and the map changed into a projection of profiles on the Deck of 52. "If the United Remnants of America captures any of these fugitives, it'll be up to a judge back in Guadalupador to decide their fate. Who knows? They might be sent back to the URA to fight in your contests." Bonya then announced to Ross: "This will be the first of many developments between our two respective nations, this action will solidify URA-Dorian Relations for years to come." Carlo then smiled, "Come now, let's go hunting, shall we?"

Lee repressed a chuckle and instead gave a tight smile. "Even so. There are fifty-two fugitives. Even one is bound to end up somewhere where the URA can seize them. But yes, do not worry. If it happens, they will be released into Dorian custody so that you may choose what you wish to do with them. Also, since my nation has agreements with the Cuscatlanis and Nihonese, it's very possible that we may be able to keep our feelers out across an international scale for your fugitives, and while we may not be able to seize those in other nations, we can most definitely keep tabs on their locations and movements through certain organizations. Is this to your liking, Mr. Bonya?" Lee raised an eyebrow. He knew the game, and he was offering up just enough information to entice the Premier into offering something in return. However, it was just as possible that Bonya wouldn't offer anything, since their two nations were so early into this diplomatic relationship.
