OP: The Planet of Oceanis
Co-OPs: me, so far.
The original thread (As Gods Are we) was a pantheon Rp, we made a world, unfortunately It died before we could do a 2000 year timeskip and really get it started, this is where you guys come in. While we have the world and some races, Oceanis and i need your help (As unfortunately, neither of us have been able to spend much time working at it at the moment), to fine tune everything, ranging from the specifics of the created races (as well as anything that may have happened to them), any new races, existing religions and empires, and anything else you think would be a good addition. The current races and the like will be added later.

[The Planet of Oceanis]

You missed the Za-Roths (blobby things) and my unnamed predators.

With his work on the Orcs done, L'Koth took off once again. This time, he flew over to an area of wilderness, somewhere near a site where Y'ha scouts and gatherers would come to land. He had grown a bit bored with the creatures of this world. He wanted something... Different. However, he wouldn't let this get in the way of his agenda for power. So, he decided that he'd make at least one of the species he planned be able to serve him, but not be able to question him.

So he began the creation of a new creature. A creature which matched the title of its creator: Unfathomable. He blobbed together a mass of strange organic material. He gave it organs, and a pulse. It was alive. However, it was useless. He gave it a pair of frontal legs, while the back end was simply on the ground. He gave it a mouth and sensory organs, so it could survive on its own. He also gave it several strong, tentacle-like appendages on its back, both for serving L'Koth and defending itself. He then gave it a certain level of intelligence- It could "understand" his language, and therefore his orders. It could even replicate speech, but its ability to do so was very limited. They could not organize among themselves and/or build societies; However, they could reproduce. He observed his new creation. He decided to call it: "Za-Roth". He created a few copies, then scattered them about the area.

He then travelled away, to a dark forest. There, he decided to create another creature, however, it would be very different. He created a humanoid body to start with. He made its skin completely black and rubbery. He gave it wings similar to his own, and a barbed tail. He made the area where its face would be blank, and made it hard and bony. He then gave it two inward-pointing horns on its head. He made a hole on its neck that would act as a mouth, through which it could eat. It did not have any eyes, but he gave it the ability to sense its surroundings and make sense of them regardless of the lack of eyes. He gave it claws on its hands and feet, and its feet were able to grab things. He stretched its arms out, so it would have a longer reach, and perch stably. He made it muscular, yet skinny, particularly thin around the waist. He then gave it a certain level of intelligence overall lower than that of the Za-Roth, but more focused in its hunting ability. He gave it the intelligence to stalk prey, to measure risk and reward, and even set very simple traps, as well as coordinate its flight to snatch unsuspecting prey, or fully aware and fleeing prey for that matter. He regarded his new creation with a bit of pride. This was surely the most efficient hunter to walk the planet. At least, the most effective mortal hunter. They would be relatively few in number, but nevertheless successful creatures.

He decided not to name his second creation, as he was interested to see what others would call them. He was especially interested in the myths and legends mortal cultures would surely make about the creatures.

I'd love to help out on the world building, but shouldn't there be a link to this thread in the interest thread first?

Besides that, I'd like to propose that most nations deal with magic through the magic academy, which aside from the original academy founded in the IC Thread

Noticing nearly all the other gods had their own creations, while he only had his barely sentient sprites. He pondered on the idea to create his own race for a few hours, but decided that it would be too uninteresting to have a race without magical limitations. And so he thought. "What besides a race, could I create to represent me?" As he was deep in thought he hovered closer and closer to the temple Voluptate had made, eventually bumping his head into it. Annoyed that something had interrupted his thoughts, he was about to blast it with magic, when an idea popped into his mind. "Why don't I just create my own temple, and get some people from the races that can use magic, and make myself some worshippers!" He threw out his limbs in celebration at coming up with the idea. "Good idea, me, this'll be a lot easier than creating my own race, and I still get all the benefits of having one!" Without further delay, Valerius opened a portal to the place where he had first landed on the planet, and went through.

Now standing before the crater he had made by falling unto the planet, he thought. "I should probably find some materials first, for as magical as I am, I can't just conjure up a temple out of nothing." He first searched the surrounding area for anything he could build his temple out of, and found a deposit of marble, and after looking around in the opposite direction, he found some sandstone. Now that he had found his materials, he stretched his arms out forward and closed his eyes, concentrating only on what he wanted his temple to look like, and as he focused, the marble and sandstone hovered over towards the site of his temple. After concentrating for a few hours on the construction of his temple, it was done, but it was still missing something. "What could it be missing, perhaps some other materials would help?" Valerius took his leftover sandstone, and with a hand motion he compressed it as densely as he could and heated it up, converting the sandstone into quartzite. "That should do the trick, now to find myself some followers." He thought as the last of the quartzite hovered into place, finishing his temple

First opening a portal to the Ethariel. "I'm sure Nashoba wouldn't mind if I just take a few with me, right?" He though as he approached a few Ethariel, quickly transforming into one himself. "Hail, friend, I come in search of powerful mage's or sorcerers among you, would you happen to know of any?" After receiving several instructions on where to find the best mage around, he quickly traveled to his location and with a snap of his fingers paralyzed him. Valerius repeated this process until he had two male, and two female Ethariel magic users. "That was unexpectedly easy." He thought as transformed back into his usual humanoid form while transporting the Ethariel over to his temple. He then proceeded to repeat the process of taking another form, finding magic users and bringing them back to his temple with the Ibon and the Ents, now only the Daerhir remained, he opened a portal to the temple that had inspired his idea, and hovered through. "Now how am I going to get Volptate to give up even just two of her creations?" While he was thinking about this problem he once again bumped into the temple. "Oh well, it'll probably work out." Entering the temple, he greeted Voluptate, completely disregarding Gaeyn and Teras "Greetings, my lady" He said, continuing what he found to be a funny joke. "I have a favor to ask of you, i'm creating my very own temple, and i'm assembling some of the finest magic users this world currently has to offer, and so, I was thinking if it would be possible for me to loan two of your Daerhir, for a while?"

Has expanded over most of the world, and they'd be ruled by the Grand masters of each academy, so they'd be a very decentralized organisation with each academy basically loosely allied to each other.

Also quick side note, my poor sprites have been forgotten

Seemingly stunned by the rapid succession of creations, Valerius simply watched from afar as the world and it's first inhabitants were created, after all, a god of magic was not too helpful in the process of creation. However, he was intrigued by this new world and decided to explore it, and so he descended down the the planet, quickly finding himself getting dragged down unto the planet faster and faster, the idea sprung into his mind that, unlike the nothingness that this place had been, the planet actually had mass. Valerius in his attempt to land, crashed at full speed into a mountain, creating a big crater.

After recovering from the fall, Valerius simply wandered the world for a while and saw several creatures, Valerius's curiosity grew, what would happen if he were to attempt to create something? Several failed attempts later, he managed to create a creature composed entirely of magic. Seeing his creation, he was overjoyed, but it lacked something, intelligence. As the creatures were now they simply wandered around aimlessly, eventually dying off due to lack of sustainable magic. Seeing this he decided to infuse several locations all over the world with increased magical power, where his new creations could survive.

Satisfied with what he had done Valerius continued exploring the land, spreading his creation to several places of power all over the planet.
