RED TIDE

The year is 1919. The Great War has ended. A war that soon expanded across continents, ended empires and claimed millions of lives. Europe was divided. But the war ended. Only for a different one to arise.

Revolution. Across countries and continents. It started in the Russian Empire, a revolution against the oppression of the Tsar and the bourgeoisie. Across the for er empire, socialist revolutionaries took arms against the reactionaries. Nationalists took arms as well, against the socialists. In Germany, the Spartacists succeeded in their endeavors against the government of the Weimar Republic and the Kaiser. In Finland,the socialists succeeded in winning the civil war, and allied immediately with other socialists. In Russia, a vicious civil war is being fought between the socialists Reds and the reactionaries Whites. In the Baltic countries, Belarus, Ukraine,Hungary, Mongolia and Central Asia , a similar situation is going on. Meanwhile, in Italy a civil war has erupted between the Republicans, occupying South Italy, in the Republic of Italy, the Monarchists,defending Central Italy in the Kingdom of Italy, and the Fascists, in North Italy, in the Republic of Saló. In Mexico, the revolution is continuing, with Zapata leading the resistance against the Mexican government.

Hussein bin Ali has united the Middle East, in the Kingdom of Arabia, allied with the British and encouraging Kurdish rebels in their war against the Ottomans. Georgia has entered a deadly war with Ajerbaijan.

The world has changed greatly. War seems unavoidable. And nobody knows if this Red Tide can be repealed...

Well, how politically and civilly free is the US, if the average person is living a "good" and substantial life and how technologically advanced the US is,

Military Number: Currently around 4,000,000, but is rapidly downsizing for the post war world. The Military wishes to keep a force of 500,000 as a standing, but need congressional approval.
History: The United States of America is in many ways the true victor of the World War. They have emerged as a member of the victorious coalition and unlike many of their European allies, they remain largely undamaged from the war and indeed have seen a surge of factories for the production of war materials. However, various internal conflicts still remain for the nation. Minorities and women are still treated poorly and both lack the right to vote and many of those who did not support the war remain jailed for their views.
