The General Assembly,
Noting the Assembly's commitment to the betterment of the environment and the live's of it's citizens,
Acknowledging the vital role that Coral Reefs play in the economy and environment of coastal and littoral regions including:
- Hosting at least 25% of of Marine Life
- Protecting the coastline and islands by absorbing the force of waves
- Providing a livelihood for coastal communities, including but not limited fishing, tourism, and nurseries(marine)
- Contributing an estimated 30-300 Billion to the global economy
Saddened by the rising bleaching and death rate of Coral Reefs
Hereby
1. Requires Member States to review national and local regulations and legislature in regards to Coral Reefs in an effort to increase protections to these valuable Reef
2. Urges Member States to cut back on over-fishing and harmful fishing practices such as cyanide fishing
3. Implores Member States to cut back on carbon pollution into the ocean and prevent the bleaching of reefs inside their Economic Exclusive Zones
4. Creates the World Assembly Coral Reef Protection and Preservation Committee

One question I have is it possible to allocate funding from the WA?
