RP Description:
War. War never changes. So they say. And yet, as the governments of europe and the remaining world are gearing up a great war once more, while expecting to be back at home and peace by christmas, there are those who raise doubts. Defensive technology has outpaced its offensive counter-part, they argue. Some few imagine fields of war in which, by acting, you can only lose. But obviously all of that is ridiculous slander by the pacifist Intelligentsia. Others chant that the dead god might now be calling home is sevants. Pick a country, historical or a historical possibility, and lead it onwards to the future. It is the 1st of August 1914 and dark times lie ahead. Will you bring your country to glory? The drums of your soldiers are calling. The Dogs of War is a player-defined alternate history roleplay. Our timeline begins on the 1st of August 1914, with a nominal point of divergence of 1st of January 1750. Players may take up the mantle of a state that they craft using the app, or one that has already been applied for, if the person who originally made it no longer RPs it. You may apply for whatever you want, within the bounds of realism and the application, and also within the bounds of preset history as laid down further below. Other than that, you are free to create whatever nation you want; let your imagination run wild. However, note that if an area has been applied for before, then its lore cannot be changed from what is in the app from before 1914 (*note, there are few exceptions to this).
