Hello all and Welcome to Goronia!
Or at least, its imaginary state.
I envision this as a Crusader Kings/Mount and Blade type thingamabobber, with there being the kingdom heirarchy, feudalism, and all that juicy stuff.
But, a world must be built if one is to be played in, as I just said.
We need some kingdoms, a climate/landscape, an app format, and others for the world of planet Goronia.

Hmmmm...... Maybe? I dunno. I always suggest the Church. Needless to say, I like Rping as a "nation" that's technically not a nation. (And maybe I like theology.....)

What about an empire that's a fusion of Venice and Egyptian culture? They can worship a sun god, their city could be built on some desert flood plains, and they're a centre of trade. They could write via a syllabary to make them unique, and make they're writing look somewhat mysterious.

EDIT: Found an old map on my computer, could be an early WIP map for this if anyone thinks so. Criticism? Is it just trash can fodder or something to work with? Could be edited easily.

Say, a new religion begins gaining followers and the nations that follow the old one try to prevent the spread, or maybe the peasants begin a revolt against the feudal lords and the kingdoms try to fight it, just ideas really.

Consider me interested. Is it humans exclusively? I tend to favor the medieval genre regardless, so even if it isn't I'll still stick around, likely.

Maybe a power is rising in the West/East and gaining a lot of land quickly and the squabbling states have to unite or perish, of course easier said than done

Well, I am sort of basing it off of CK2 and Mount and Blade in that regard.
You control a character (lord, duke, etc) that manages whatever and is trying to make ends meet and get higher in the world.
Now, there are armies that you control, and if you are king you can order people and stuff. And control a nation.
So, both.

If you're interested in a limited kind of magic, you could have Philosophical Colleges instead of religions. Something I've been working on myself, but I'm happy to share. Religions are a kind of philosophy anyway, but in this manner, they would be about understanding the universe through arcane study rather than divine communion.
