The tale begins with war between France and Austria, with the war centred around Piedmont and Italian unification. Diplomacy will play a big part in this, so no declaring wars for the fun of it. However, it is clear that things are going to escalate.

So far, things are going OK for Piedmont, all thanks to their French allies. After a meeting with King Victor Emmanuel, Prime Minister Cavour is on his way to meet with the French and Napoleon III. Cavour must convince them to continue the war and defeat Austria fully. His aims are to drive Austria out of Italy and ensure that they will not pose a threat to his unified Italy.

Franz Joseph sat with his councilors. Another meeting about the meddling French it seems. He furrowed his eyebrows and stood. "The French will have no say with our motives about the Italians. Those lands were rightfully ours until his uncle smashed in and destroyed our Holy Roman Empire. We need to repel them, whether by sanctions or by force." He sat back and drank from his glass of water. "I have received a letter from Russia concerning an alliance." His councilors were taken by surprise. Everyone knows about the tension between Austria and Russia that happened since God knows when.

"Emperor, we cannot allow that!" one of his councilors spat. He waved his hand at him. "Diplomacy shall be our stance this time. And we need strong allies. Remember we still have the Prussians in the north." He stood again and signalled the meeting to end. "I want the troops in Italy be doubled. And I want some of the goods exported to France be 'improved'. We need to weaken their forces." And he walked out of the meeting room.

The Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Special Ministry in the Russian Empire sends delegates to Wien, Austria for a special offer. A Russo-Austrian Alliance offer. Austria's back will be protected by the Great Russian People!

Alexandro Tereshkov, the Russian Ambassador to Vienna wakes up in the Morning, then he Adresses His basic Daily morning Routine. He wears his clothes and request's the Steward to ready the Chariot.
A couple of Minutes later, He walks down the stairs and tells his Aide to take care while he is away. He turns back and Enters the Chariot. Heading to the Imperial Palace in Vienna with a very Important Paper.

Victor Emmanuel was having a bad day. He enjoyed wars; he had power during wars. But his army - well, it was crap. Piedmont was not big and not strong. How he yearned to rule over a big country! Nevertheless, he didn't like Cavour's intentions. Cavour seemed devious and willing to do anything to defeat Austria. Victor Emmanuel was not prepared to have a suicidal victory.

"Butler! Has the vile man left yet?"

"His Excellency has just left Turin, your Majesty. He's off to see Napoleon III, he said. He said he will be back tonight to speak to you."

Victor Emmanuel grumbled. Every little bit of prestige belonging to Cavour was stolen from himself. He was king! What was going on?

The Ottoman Imperial Court, Grand Vizier,and Abdümecid I have decided to send a delegate to France for negotiations with the French king,Napoleon III.Abdülmecid also sends a letter:

It was at the Time of the Peak of Tensions between Russia and the Ottoman Turks. Either Side hated each other and involved in direct wars against each other for the past decades.

General Federatiko is inspecting the Ships and the Supplies ready for a war with the Ottoman Turks. 1M were Mobilized throughout the Empire. 30,000 in Crimea Alone. There were 76 Transports lined at the Docks ready to Let Troops aboard. Canons were prepared and Cargo were put inside.

"We will free our Romanian Brethren." said General Federatiko in a meeting with General Unsakovo who is Incharge in the Romanian Front of 430,000 men.

Cavour was galloping on the horse with his assistants when he saw the French delegation ahead, coming towards them. Cavour smiled.

"Bonjour!" he laughed as he sped up his gallop. He was about to meet someone no less than Napoleon III! But wait - oh, he wasn't in the group. Cavour's smile disappeared. A measly delegation for him?

Alexandro has arrived to the Palace. He entered and saw the Interior of the Large Palace equivalent to the Tsar's Palace in St. Petersburg. He walked up to the Throne room and Bowed down to the Emperor of Austria.

"Good Morning Your Majesty. I have a letter the shows the terms of the Alliance that we offered if you accepted it. I would gladly oblige if you have questions. stated Alexandro.

Tsar Alexander III is having a meeting with his trusted Generals and Advisors about the Current Situation. Federiko and Unsakov didn't attend the Meeting due to being in Sevastopol at the time.

"Alright Gentlemen, We need to get a Non-Aggression pact with France for the Time Being. Turkey is the Main Priority. We will not be disturbed while we Destroy the kebab." stated the Tsar.

He beaconed them to come forward and stated his plans for the war. "I want massive research upon military tactics and weapons. I want the scientists be funded well, the masses educated and be given jobs. And I believe the troops are ready. Station 45,000 troops in Venice and Rome must be under surveillance. I want the French be under tab. And I want battleships patrolling the Mediteranean." He then turned to the messenger. "I would like to clarify something. What is the reason for you Russians to join this war?"

As 1856 showed, Russia is not to be feared and I know that Austria is not to be either. I believe that Prussia and the German Confederation has no interest in this war; why, even some Piedmontese officials in Berlin have indicated that Prussia is looking for a means to fight Austria. So I accept your offer with great gratitude, shall France approve of it.

"Tell me of the war, please."

Silence reigned the halls that played host to His Majesty Maximilian II and his closer circle of advisors - what would one say? After all, there was no war that concerned the kingdom at this point, was there? As it stood, the conflict between Austria and France over Europe's boot was sure to end soon enough, yes?

"The war, your majesty?", one of the king's advisors chanced.

A frown formed upon Maximilian's face. "The war in Italy, nturally. How goes it for Austria?"

"I am unsure of what you speak of, your highness. Tensions are at an all time high, certainly, and the French seem adamant to aid Piedmont in their goal to unify Italy, if only to create a powerful buffer between themselves and Austria. But...war?"

The king stood up, walking over to a nearby window and gazing out, observing the dark clouds slowly moving to cover the sun in a manner that seemed far too dramatic for the current topic at hand.

"There will be. And I do not believe for a moment that it will stop at Italy - Austria has been one of the major threats to French hegemony for far too long, from a French perspective. The Holy Roman Empire, shattered by French hands to cement their position. The German states forced into servitude under their rule and pitted against each other during Napoleon's rule of terror. The current Bonaparte in France, though not one of his direct descendants, still will feel the pressure to live up to his predecessor's name. The German Confederation, weak though it may be, it has ensured that we remain unmolested by the French.

He will like to see Austria shattered to mark the beginning of his own legacy. I hold no illusions that any other state will be able to hold the Confederation together - Prussia is far too concerned with the northern regions alone and no real threat to France on its own. And I hold no illusions that Bavaria could hope to stand without either of the two. Whatever this Bonaparte is planning, it must be stopped here and now."

Worried mutterings coursed through the room, advisors glancing to one another in hopes of finding support. None of them seemed too sure of what the king had just said, but was there any arguing? Certainly, if one spoke up, others might...but no one did. No one would risk being the first, and perhaps the only one to question the king.

"Send a missive to Vienna. Tell them that whatever may happen in the future between them and the French, they will have our unconditional support."
