Meanwhile in the the Al-Asad palace, Ayesha city, Bashriyya

Al-Asad is arabic for "the lion"

The Al-Asad palace was built in the year 2022 during the early stages of the Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid's Government, like Terten's palace in the Philippines Its walls are made out of marble and reinforced concrete. it is equipped with deep, reinforced concrete nuclear bunkers said to be capable of withstanding nuclear attack and a fully functioning hospital is overseen by a former health minister. Nashid is also said to have a huge personal arsenal of guns, knives, swords and other weapons in case someone should try and assassinate him.

- This page will serve as RPing what happens in the capitol of Bashriyya. If you ever one day decide that you want to attack the capitol directly then you first have to RP bypassing the defenses that come before it. That will only be possible by either the following declaring war on Bashriyya, finance heavily armed and capable insurgents or terrorists or perhaps by sending in elite agents capable of bypassing the immigration process.

2 armored brigades (Each having 100 tanks of different kinds) the first Brigade uses T-71 Akrav and the other Brigade uses T-72M1M and T-62
ZSU-23-2 anti-air guns and MIM-23 HAWK surface to air missiles scattered around various places to defend from air-attack
70 SA-6 GAINFUL surface to air missiles in the out-skirts also for air-defense
400 Republican Guard "Za'im Division"
700 Fedayeen Bashriyya "Maghaweer Division"
A team of 59 Thunder-Force Counter-terrorism/Counter-insurgency forces
Plus many of these troops are stationed around Pill-boxes, check-points, various obstacles and bunkers, and numerous security cameras.

THE GREATER EMPIRE OF ARNORIA
Autocracy Liberal Absolute Monarchy Arnotopianocentric Empire

Lukanos Rathary Valkynar
His Grace, Lukanos Pureblood of House Valkynar, High King of the Arnorians and the Aryans, Lord of the Five Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm
Ayesha city, Bashriyya

The Arnorian Air Force One landed, as always, on time. Though no Arnorian leader is ever known for his promptness, no such thing can be said for his air transport. The plane touched down as scheduled at the evening of Saturday. It was a modified Garruda G25, built by the Royal Arnorian High Technology Military Industries. The design was based on Boeing 747-600, though this plane had triple floors, with chaff, flares, two anti-aircraft auto-machine guns at each side, and a turret near the tail for defense. The plane was also equipped by an escape-pod and emergency chamber for the High King and the cockpit was also protected by a very powerful door. The most spectacular piece of private transportation funded by the Royal Bank landed on the runway of Bashriyya's capital's international airport.

The normal greetings entourage was waiting: the contingent of press, a ground crew, several Kingsguards with full security detail and Addarakan Amrash, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Once the stairway was in place, the doors opened and the newly crowned High King, Lukanos Rathary Valkynar, a spring in his step like a child returning from summer camp, descended, waving to the press while speaking orders to his Lord Commander of the Kingsguards, Ghenjyo Bekharos. Ghenjyo, also known as the Charming Knight, was rumoured to be involved in an intimate relation with the High King. Though none of that matters to the Royal Council and the Imperial Senate, for Ghenjyo was a cunning soldier. Lord Commander Ghenjyo led the rest of the senior staff from the plane. They did not appear as refreshed as the High King. Muhammad Akbar grasped the handrail as his knees wobbled, he concentrated on each footfall to insure he didn't tumble from exhaustion headlong down the steps. The last to exit was Grand Admiral Vereghnar, and as they walked side by side, their steps matching rhythmically like a masterful sonata.

"Good evening, your grace," Addarakan Amrash said, greeting him at the bottom of the ramp. "How was the British Fascist Empire?"

The High King nodded and smiled. "It went well, Addar. Ghenjyo and I managed to piss off twenty percent of their people this time."

"Your grace, I beg your pardon, but the Emperor won't take it..."

"Shut up and get in the car," Lukanos, or Lukas, snapped.

The High King, Ghenjyo and Addar entered the limousine without taking questions from the press- a common occurrence for the High King on a Sunday. The silver limousine was escorted by four M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicles, six International MaxxPro MRAPs, four M2 Bradleys and ten Oshkosh L-ATVs (Light Combat Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle). The Arnorian Imperial Senate had always insisted on full security for the High King in order to avoid incidents as the predecessors of the throne suffered. The convoy arrived at the Al-Asad palace in Ayesha city, it was magnificent, embellished with white walls and golden roofs. Lukanos wasn't a Muslim, or of Arabian descent, though his uncle was, and he had always fond of Islam. That was why sixty percent of the total population of Arnoria were Muslims.

Lukanos, escorted by ten Kingsguard including Ghenjyo, and Addar, walked out from the limousine and entered the palace. "All Hail His Grace, Lukanos Pureblood of House Valkynar, High King of the Arnorians and the Aryans, Lord of the Five Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm," Ghenjyo sang out loud in order to gain the attention of the people inside the palace. This was going to be another boring meeting as Lukanos awaited for Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid's presence.

Going with the flow of a foreign nation was the most important thing for an ambassador. Many people forgot that, but even then, there were limits to how much was going to be left at home.
So, the Free Lands of the Selkie wished to establish diplomatic contact, maybe even more, with the Maghreb Confederacy of Bashriyya and their leader, President Sheikh Mohammed Ali al-Nashid. Main reasons were mutual benefit in economic matters, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. and a few other companies were highly interested in the small country, its oil reserves and as a possible market for their goods.
However, by law and tradition, the Elders of the fifteen Tribes weren't permitted to leave the Free Lands, so they usually send their supplements: The Ambassador Groups, travelling ambassadors of the Free Lands and the Selkie. In this case, they sent Ambassador Group 5, Finn Iarann of the Tribe of Cavan, a man built like a tree, and Neil Adhmad of the Tribe of Laois, a smaller man with a nice smile.
The two of them stood outside the airport, clad in their tribal Geansais, clad in their respective Tribes' colours, and long, white, woolen coats over them in account of the weather. They weren't exactly looking unsuspicious, but every inquiry by a local police officer would be met with a pair of diplomatic passports.
Still, they had one problem: "How do we get there?", Adhmad asked his companion with a frown.
"Taxi?", the man built like a tree replied with one word. People usually assumed, that he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed due to him being rather taciturn, but that wasn't true, when someone looked at the art he was producing. "Could get us where we want without hassle..."
"That's true." Adhmad was far more talkative, as it was usual for an ambassador. "So, then.", he said with a clap into his hands. "Let's get to it! This is going to be fun!"
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid left his office to meet the Arnorian delegate and the delegate from Selkie "Hello my friends, what brings you here?" he said shaking both their hands, "please follow me to my office and we shall discuss these things which are of great importance." as he opened the office door for them.

Ghenjyo slipped a small black control with a red button to Lukas' pocket before he could realize it. He took it and looked at Ghenjyo. "Wait, what is this?"

"Just press it if there's any problem, the Air Force One will be ready to mobilize, and so do the Royal Special Force," Ghenjyo whispered, hardly to be heard by anyone.

The High King and his Kingsguard followed President Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid to the office, taking a seat on a comfortable sofa. Ghenjyo was standing behind the High King while two of the Kingsguard stayed outside the room and four of them patrolled the palace. The armed vehicles of Arnoria parked outside the palace of of Al-Asad, ready for any incidents. Lukanos was young and stubborn, unlike his predecessor, Rhaegar Valeryon, who was wise and cunning. Though the royal line must endure, and Arnoria must always be one of nations with the global power.

"The armed vehicles outside must stay there, it is our protocol. Though I heard that this palace has a reputation for its security, though it must be not as good as my palace, the Red Keep." Lukas said, his eyes glared at the President of Bashriyya, and leaned comfortably against the back of the sofa. "You have to understand that our country is at war, we need Bashriyya's oil. However, what do you mean by 'these things which are of great importance?' I must say that your words confuse me."

"We need you to help us get rid of political enemies in Tunisia, insurgent forces, spies and communists." Nasheed said with a smile, "Help us in our counter-insurgency operations, and you can have oil and use Bashriyya as a staging place for your war." he pulled out a large stack of folders, "This is my long planned operation I have had to remove potential terrorists." Nasheed then showed him a map of North Africa "My goal is to liberate these lands and their peoples from Communist oppression of the vile Government of Souriya Al-Assad, if you are anti-communist then you are welcome to set up base here and use our oil."

Nasheed then showed him a map of North Africa "My goal is to liberate these lands and their peoples from Communist oppression of the vile Government of Souriya Al-Assad, if you are anti-communist then you are welcome to set up base here and use our oil."

The two Selkie, upon the President's arrival and being ushered into the palace, decided to just roll with it and not to look the gift-horse in the mouth. They noted the presence of foreign armed guards, some of them patrolling the perimeter.
"Other countries, other manners...", Adhmad mumbled under his breath, barely audible to anyone, especially not his companion. His deep rumbling in reply would alert people of their silent conversation. In the Free Lands, something like the display made by this High King would be a grave insult to the host, not giving him the trust to enter his castle/home without guard.
But other countries, other manners. For the diplomat, this was, what made his job interesting - seeing the manners and forms of other people directly in front of him.
Both Selkie, having slipped into the office as well, listened to the exchange with interest: Both countries were, at the end of the day, at war. That was a simple fact and both Selkie weren't exactly comfortable with it, but that was another question.
"...if you are anti-communist then you are welcome to set up base here and use our oil.", the President just finished.
That was Adhmad's opportunity - and it was snatched away by a rumbling more befitting a thunderstorm. His companion, the interest of an artist in new surroundings gone out of his eyes, spoke up and Iarann's voice rumbled like an uncoming storm, not only because of his message. "We are neither pro-communist nor anti-communist. We are Selkie. If you want business, we can give you business. If you want support against this Al-Assad figure, we can give you support.
It might not be throwing armoured division at the wall and seeing what sticks, but you will have your advantages from it. I can't promise soldiers and neither can my colleague, but we can both promise, that any Selkie in a business sees and recognizes your countries' potential as a valueable business partner. We can help you driving this Al-Assad-Figure to his knees by the strength of economy."
"My collegue is right.", the trained diplomat said - he knew, what his companion was going at. "The economy is mightier then any sword, because any sword needs to be forged in the first place. Paid for. Transported. The swordman trained. And I think we just used this metaphor long enough.
Fact is, that the Free Lands can be good for your economy, because all you really have at the moment is oil. And lots of it. We can help you transport it, make money from it, guard it and sell it to the best bidders. Well, not we two, we are just two humble ambassadors, but we can introduce you and the idea to people."
There was the rumble of a thunderstorm again: "And these people will like this idea."

Nasheed then spoke to the Selkie delegate "You are smart, you could certainly help me improve the economy, you are free to come bring business, the people will love this." he said and then he looked back at Lukanos and also said "And, You are free to use our air-force bases and naval facilities to carry out your war." he smiled and then said "Perhaps I could offer a 200 man volunteer force for this?"

Governor's Residence
Erbil, National Capital Region
Assyria-Kurdistan

On a hot, sunny day, the Vice-President of Eminral arrives with little fanfare. He was escorted by a fleet of 10 cars from the Federal Police, 2 armored vehicles from the Army and 15 cars from the Kurdish Capital Police Force. "Good day to you Governor", Vice-President Mendoza greets the Governor of Assyria-Kurdistan. "Good day to you to, brother. Now come inside, it's pretty hot outside." the Governor said.

"How's the thing going on with the border?" the Vice-President asks as they walk fairly slowly along the corridor. "There has been a few people from the Bashriyyan side of the border defecting, but most of them has been captured by the Peshmerga. They were being persecuted by the folks down south apparently." the Governor replies. "Communists?" the Vice-President asks. "Not a lot, but 5 of the captured were. 15 of captured guys are from the Muslim Brotherhood. They're now imprisoned under the suspicion of terrorism." the Governor responds. "So what compelled you to come here?" the Governor asks. "I'm here to meet Al-Nashid, to represent the Revolutionary Government." the Vice-President said. "But first, let's talk about Kurdistan. My Chief of Staff will arrange appointment with Ali-Nashid in a moment." he says.

Meanwhile his Chief-of-Staff, still at the National Government Office in a building just a few blocks from the Governor's Residence, makes a call to the Bashriyyan Government. "Good day, I'm the Chief-of-Staff of the Vice-President of Eminral. He wishes to have an audience with Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid in behalf of the Revolutionary Government. Would that be possible?" she asks.

The Vice President's Chief of Staff, receiving a reply from Bashriyya's Top 2, has delivered the positive news to the Vice President. After meeting with the Governor for three hours, visiting a few military outposts, and speaking to local businessmen, the Vice President made his way to the capital of Bashriyya after a two-day visit. As soon as he lands on Bashriyyan soil, the convoy of the Vice President headed straight to the Eminrallian Foreign Office to greet the Ambassador and leaders of Eminrallian community in Bashriyya, as well as representatives of the Christian community.

Speaking before local Assyrian-Kurdish and Eminrallian media outlets, the Vice President has announced the agenda for this visit. "Clearly Bashriyya and Eminral has some bitter events that have hindered peace in the region. What I would like to see in this visit is putting those behind us. We will be trying our very best to come up with a common plan that focuses on the following points." the Vice President explains.

"Forne is the restoration of normal relations between Bashriyya and Assyria-Kurdistan." the Vice President adds. "While there has been peace in the region for some years now, the relations between Bashriyya and Eminral and Assyria-Kurdistan is still not what we consider 'normal'. What we intend to do is to make sure that the peace treaty signed back then is still respected by both parties and the cessation of hostilities is still observed."

"We would also like to assure our Bashriyyan counterparts that we intend to remain neutral about their domestic affairs. In order to prove that, we would like to come up with a common policy for terrorism and instability in the region. I believe that closer cooperation against the rise of terrorism will mutually benefit our nation." the Vice President concludes.

After speaking at the Eminrallian Foreign Office, his convoy headed straight to Al-Asad Palace to visit Mohammen Ali Al-Nashid. The revolutionary government back home have their hands full with domestic issues. It has been concluded by the National Defence Commission that the best way to prevent insurgencies from extremists in Assyria-Kurdistan is to ensure stability in Bashriyya, therefore supporting Al-Nashid's administration. In order to gain the trust of the Bashriyyans, the President has sent the Vice President to talk with the Bashriyyan Government.

The Vice President steps out of his limousine, as two Army officers salutes him as he makes his way to the entrance. "Good Evening. I'm Vice President Miguel Mendoza. I'm here to represent the Revolutionary Government of Eminral." the Vice President introduces himself.

President Golofad arrives!

Postby Hatay » Tue Aug 25, 2015 6:55 am

The private jet with the words "طائرة الرئاسة" kissed the cement airstrip as it landed with its escort of two F-16s landed on a separate and longer airstrip. The stairs plopped out and six guards in ceremonial uniform rolled out a red carpet and took their positions. A limousine drove up to the plane with two escort cars behind it. Secret Service guards and the ambassador stepped out from the limos. President Golofad came down the stairs as his guards moved to salute with their swords on the command "الأسلحة الحالية إلى رئيس الجمهورية(Present arms to the President of the Republic)!" The ambassador shook hands with the president as they both went into the limo. The Presidential guards went into the escort limos as all the limos took off.
Ambassador Isan Kahmad: "Well, well, Mister President it's quite the pleasure to see you here in Bashriyya. Relations are as bad as ever. Us accusing them a tyranny and despotism. They accusing us of being a western puppet, imperialist, tyrannic, etc. Hopefully we can clean up our differences and put further tensions out of the question. Even with the Minister of the Interior shot in the streets. Is he in good health?
President Golofad: I should say so. But you can never be so sure. Stomach injuries are bad. Are there other world leaders here?
Ambassador: Yes, and quite a few. But anyway, you'll find that many of the populace will find you unfavorable. We've made sure no one will get a good look at you, let alone a good enough one to fire off a shot. Well here's the palace.
Both: (gaze at palace)
President Golofad: Quite the security. He's definitely safe in there. He's got an army defending him. Ah, here's the embassy. (cars turn into embassy passing through gate. (driver pulls window down)
Security Officer: (quietly) Papers, please?
Driver: (quietly) Here.
Security Officer: (checks papers) Very good. Go ahead. (checkpoint gate opens and car passes through into embassy)
The limo doors open up and the Presidential Guard moves to escort President, ambassador, and routine into embassy. The entrees are checked and the ambassador walks with the President into the conference room as the Presidential Guard moves to the door.
Image
The group sits down and the discussion begins. "We've arranged a meeting with Nasheed's men tomorrow. We aim to move past distinct ideological differences and move towards common goals that we can find mutual ground and agreement on. Such combating violent jihadist terrorism, threatening to both our governments. We must move past silly accessions and childish blame and rhetoric on the evils of each other." opened the ambassador.
"That sounds very good." replied the President as all else nodded. After 45 minutes of discussion the press was allowed in by signal of the President.
A mob moved to swarm the gentlemen and women but the guard stopped this and only allowed a camera man and interviewer from Hatayan Public News. "Mr. President, what is the goal of this meeting with Bashiriyyan officials and leaders?" fired the interviewer.
"To find common ground on issues that threaten both of us. To find a sense of mutual understanding."
"Do you expect to succeed?"
"I would not have come if we did not expect to succeed."
After several more questions and reporters the group left to their respective rooms within the embassy.

Addition:
-10 Presidential Guards (armed with ceremonial swords and wwii rifles as well as concealed MP7s)
-15 Secret Servicemen (armed with Gloch pistols)
-25 Regular Army Soldiers (armed with M-16s, AK-74s, and Uzis)
-10 Republican Guardsmen
-Two WS-61 Sea Kings with their own helipads
-3 Humvees

There to meet the Hatay representatives was Colonel Mustafa Aziz and Grand Mufti Zaman Al-Hussani known for his dislike of liberals and socialists especially social-democrats, they both honestly wondered what Golofad and his people were doing today, Zaman said "okay what do you want to talk about."

"We want to clear up any confusion and excess tension that can be done away with in our two countries infamously cold relationship. To stop us from being enemies just because one of us is on the right of the political spectrum and one on the left." stated President Golofad standing with the ambassador and Presidential Guards. "Shall we discuss?" as Golofad motioned to the seats of the Conference room.

the Colonel looked at Golofad and laughed he then said "You think we are oppressive? your Government has had that Socialist loser Golofad in power for quite some time, of course you are more civilized then Souriya Al-Assad, but what Arab nation tolerates things against it's very ancient tradition?" he then looked at Golofad saying "You are the biggest phony and traitor to your people, what have you contributed against the regime of Bashar Al-Shaytan?"

Golofad sighed and laughed. "Well this is off to a great start. Well apparently my people don't agree with your adjectives. They have put me into office. Our nation is not run on tradition. It is run on equality and popular choice. It was the people who supported the legalization of gay marriage and of abortion and contraceptives in our country. That is how we run our country. As for Souriya, we don't support them whatsoever. We do not support communism. We support democracy."

"Our rules are not God's rules. They are the people's rules. That's what democracy is." replied Golofad. "But let us end this childish string of insults. Hatay wants an agreed framework to decrease tensions between our two nations. All we desire is peace."

Hatay wrote:The private jet with the words "طائرة الرئاسة" kissed the cement airstrip as it landed with its escort of two F-16s landed on a separate and longer airstrip.

The group sits down and the discussion begins. "We've arranged a meeting with Asad tomorrow.

-10 Secret Servicemen (armed with Gloch pistols)
-25 Regular Army Soldiers (armed with M-16s, AK-74s, and Uzis)
-10 Republican Guardsmen
-Two Boeing–Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanches with their own helipads

So that's what Golofad looks like.Hmph.

"We are a Islamic Constitutional Republic, we are not a mere foolish unislamic Democracy." said the Colonel, then the Sheikh replied "A republic is guided by the rule of law, people can elected other leaders but the leader must follow a given constitution." to which the Colonel replied "The people are just happy to have Mohammed Nasheed as the leader."

"And ours are perfect to see me as their leader. Same with their assemblymen (and women) and senators. So I guess we're even. Our constitution provides a guideline for governance free of corruption. This preserving our people's democracy. Did you even hear what I said about an agreed framework to decrease tensions, or are you to busy insulting me?" replied the President.

"Your so called Democracy is a Western and Zionist puppet state, you know you are crypto-jewish Golofad." said the Sheikh, to which the Colonel replied "If you want good relations with us, stop pushing so many of your socialist economic policies on your people."

Bashriyya wrote:Nasheed then spoke to the Selkie delegate "You are smart, you could certainly help me improve the economy, you are free to come bring business, the people will love this." he said and then he looked back at Lukanos and also said "And, You are free to use our air-force bases and naval facilities to carry out your war." he smiled and then said "Perhaps I could offer a 200 man volunteer force for this?"

The Selkie nodded. "Thank you for the compliment, Sir.", he said, a little bit of satisfaction in his voice. "The first person you might want to contact is a certain Nora Cathlong of the Tribe of Cork. She is CEO of Silverport Dockyards and I hear, that they have a new tanker design ready to be used. No large supertanker, but a smaller model capable of entering next to every harbour. They should be of use to you."
"Next, Vice-Admiral Finnegan Dobharchu of the Tribe of Westmeath.", the thunderous voice of Iarann rolled, "He is commander of the SDF-Navy. He can organize ships and crews to defend your convoys against your enemies until your sailors learned enough to defend them themselves. And defending they need."
Admad pondered for a moment. "After that, I would contact Gwen Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan of Gabha Blacksmiths.", he said, "Cheap and reliable weapons and vehicles is what they produce. I am sure, that she is willing to sell DPRs if you want."
The two Selkie wrote the names down on a piece of paper, a short summary of their offers and places of contact with it.
"Any questions, Sir?", Admad asked.
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

Lukas listend carefully on what President Nasheed said and rolled his eyes in annoyance when he asked for military aid. Lukas considered the offer with cautious before answering. "Personally I do despise the communists, but I've seen war for too long, I've seen the body of the dead piling in the streets of my city, I don't want to throw my people into that kind of nightmare further. I cannot risk declaring war against the communists, not when I still have a civil war to finish. Is it not wiser, kinder even, to negotiate with Souriya Al-Assad. I may not be a Muslim but Islam's name has been tainted for far too long."

"If I may talk, Mister President, we can give you some of our outdated armoured vehicles and weapons to aid you in your war. His Grace, High King Lukannos Valkynar has no intention to aid you directly," Ghenjyo spoke up.

"That would be nice, this should greatly boost my troops moral." the President said to Ghenjyo, he then replied to Lukanos "You do not understand my friend, Souriya Al-Assad has been funding communist terrorism against me for years, since I became Commanding General of the Armed Forces, and especially when I overthrew the Socialist regime of Jafar Hafez. "
