Through another tear in the ethereal darkness, a figure swam into the nothingness. Bursting into the new realm, chasing the source of the call, He emerged arms spread before Him.
"There could be no greater gift, nor greater sorrow," spoke Ba'al Naḫāšu, Ba'al (Lord) of Fertility as he emerged into the nothingness along with the other God's.He had the appearance of a merman: from the waist up, he was a tanned man, luscious beard swaying in the darkness, from the waist down, a large fish, his green scales indiscernable in the ceaseless darkness.
The nothingness both pleased and disgusted him, for within its expanse held infinite possibilities, though there existed none. The deafening silence made him uneasy, the lack of anything, sick.
The Lord of Fertility, the Lord of the Bountiful, looked unto the massive darkness before and sighed deeply. He stood silently, observing, thinking, pondering the infinite possibilities for creation among the nothingness. Millions of thoughts raced through his mind, all bearing solutions for the sickening lack of anything before him. He stroked his beard, as black as the nothingness which it now inhabited, and swayed his long tail from side to side.
"It's easy to attack and destroy an act of creation. It's a lot more difficult to perform one," He spoke aloud.

"That is true, Lord of Bounty. Creation requires great sacrifice. But the mere act of producing something from nothing is rewarding beyond any sort of gift that can be given. This blackness of potential disturbs me, as it does you, I believe. But we have no foes, no who would wish to see this void remain. I suggest that we - the Gods of Change and Bounty - begin this new universe. All other talk simply stalls the inevitable.

"What are you?" It said to them in its incredibly deep voice. When it spoke, it sounded as if its voice going through bubbles.

The glowing azure eyes of the Lord of Illusions met the dark pits of his accuser's own. "Does the Master of Despair question Our benevolence?" asked the Lord of Aspirations. "What We seek is merely peace," answered the Lord of Falsehoods. "Our gifts cannot reach this empty nothing and it drowns Us in sorrow."
With a jagged smile, the Lord of Adversity added, "How fortunate, then, that the God of Despair has come to answer Our call. For is nothing not free of sorrow?" Extending his black hands, Mendacium Deceptio said, "Will you not share your own gifts with this blighted place, or will you bereft it of your presence merely to spite Us?"Valerion wrote:Suddenly an unseen wave of energy epanded into the nothingness that was. His azure eyes than drifted about the void around them. "It seems," whispered the Lord of the Intangible. "That this realm is not so empty now."

"Indeed," smiled the Lord of Aspirations. "Often our gifts take a more subtle approach to weave and wander about the heart."Shadowwell wrote:In the vast emptiness of the Void where the other gods had arrived, the tip of a massive sword cut into the void opening a tear, Out of it stepped what appeared to be a massive armored man, He was Dibhur Varus, The Lord of Destruction.
"Others, on the other-hand, prefer to be seen."
Mendacium Deceptio turned to greet the newest arrival; spreading his arms wide as he whispered, "Destruction always comes before creation. We welcome you to this Nothing. Have you come to rend this void or shape it?"
