“An oddly ignored gem in the North Atlantic sea, the Tinellian continent is home to beings that you would never spot anywhere else on Earth… more to the point, said beings dominate the continent. Travelling out in the west, take great care to get along with the Arkadacians, massive (yet ruggedly alluring, for some reason) fanged beasts running the most secure and well-protected country in the world, where crime is at an all-time low because nobody wants to be set on fire, and where you’ll come across an interesting mix of peoples united under a single banner. The kilted, tall Iracusians, the horse riding nomadic Rahn, the non-existent Rashik, the religious eccentricism of Arkchil, and the professionalism of Pravyet. The Ahl Cuhltians are dead, though. Stop asking about them. Seriously, that’s like a trigger for the most dangerous person in the country to show up and start smashing heads. Aaaaanyways… once you start heading out east, depending on your latitude, you’ll either run into Culdranthine, Melanthine, my glorious spiky helmeted homeland, or Reiltam. Culdranthine is full of prissy boys and girls who wear fancy clothing, wield magic, and eat snails and cheese all day. Seriously, go look it up. Melanthine is full of glorious rabbits with military and technological might, and we go around and kick the crap out of people. Only reason I’m not in their army is because I got kicked out! Arseholes. Anyways, last on your stops throughout Tinell would be Reiltam. Now, it used to be a swampy hellhole stuck in the 17th century, but around 1938, coinciding with a German invasion of the continent, some old fart decided he’d try to set up a functioning government, and that’s how the Reil Republic was born. Now it’s a swampy shithole stuck in the 80’s with massive pockets of radiation and nightmare fuel called dead zones. … Aw, shit, the tour’s been over for like an hour. Guess I’ll end it with some historical sounding quote. “It’s a nightmarish land of pagans, magic, and rodents” - Some Roman Guy, 123 BC” - Velja von Elan`, Arkadacian Military Police (and part-time tour guide)
Said nightmarish land of pagans, magic, and rodents is more commonly known as the continent of Tinell, spattered somewhere in the North Atlantic ocean. It is an anomaly on this fair planet earth, home to sapient species that are native to the continent, and some theorize, not even from Earth. They are not simply elves or dwarves or something just resembling a lazily done rip-off of any fantasy novel ever made, however. These species are decidedly foreign, strange, and indeed, potentially nightmarish.
The Peoples of Tinell (You aren't required to play as any of them, but if you do, I'd recommend you consult with either I or Crumlark to help ensue your character fits nicely into the setting.)

Unlike your standard P2TM roleplay, this one doesn’t have a main objective, so to speak. Think about it, does anyone know the meaning of life? And if you think you do, get your head out of your ass. This is less an RP than a simulation of life in a rather nightmarish land of pagans, magic, and rodents, and life has no goal. This doesn’t mean it’s totally aimless, however. There will be goals, events, and long-running storylines, but there is no grand, overarching objective that you can complete and just throw up your hands and say ‘Welp, I’m done’. Go join virtually every other RP in P2TM if you want that.
Applications-
This RP is a strange creature, and we fully expect you to keep a vast and varied
A Note About Extraterrestrial Lifeforms: If everyone comes up with their own ideas about what’s going on in outer space, it’s going to turn into a clusterfuck. Rapidly. So for the sanity of your OPs and Co-OPs, if you’re going to have a character that’s from anywhere other than Earth, be vague / utterly non-descript about the universe at large. You’ll see why as the roleplay goes on.
A Note About Systems of Magic: Funnily enough, the same doesn’t apply to magic. So far I count three different, sharply contrasting systems in our canon, and their interactions so far are interesting. Feel free to develop your own (if it isn’t stupidly overpowered). If you’re going to be able to cast anything larger than a fireball, it’s going to be extremely costly. No casual nuking. Might as well throw in a note about playing gods here as well. No playing them. The nightmarish land of pagans, magic, and rodents is one where religion is uncertain at best. (Except the Arkchil Pantheon, but if you’re on the right drugs they’re probably from the moon.)
