A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

The year is 19 BBY. The Clone Wars have entered their third year, leaving behind it hundreds of systems ravaged by the fighting between the Grand Army of the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Despite the bloodshed and destruction, there is hope: in a desperate attempt to recover from its losses, the CIS launched an assault on the capital world of Coruscant, resulting in a costly victory for the Republic. With the death of Count Dooku and mounting success in the Outer Rim by the Republic, it appeared that the war would come to a close within months.

However, the Jedi Order, the defenders of the Republic for thousands of years and the leaders of the Clone Army for the duration of the war, will not be able to see the end to the conflict. After a failed attempt to arrest him by members of the Jedi High Council, Darth Sidious, known publicly as Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, declared Order 66 to be initiated. It was not long before the Clone Army turned on its former commanders, killing thousands of Jedi within hours of Order 66 being initiated. To make matters worse, one of their own turned on the Order and lead the 501st Legion into the Grand Temple on Coruscant under the title Darth Vader. Known as Operation Knightfall, this action resulted in the sacking of the Temple and further destruction of the Jedi Order. Even with its losses, the Jedi Order would continue to survive as some Jedi managed to elude their deaths at the hands of the Republic.

This is where the RP begins. You will be a Jedi during the first hours of Order 66, where you will try to avoid your death at the hands of the newly formed Galactic Empire. Should you manage to do so, you only have two options: hide or retaliate. Will you be able keep the Jedi Order alive? Or will the Sith triumph and rule the galaxy?

Welcome everyone to Star Wars Jedi Resistance: Episode II! As the title suggests, this will be a reboot of the original thread (Link: http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=260125). The past thread lasted for quite some time and I am hoping this one will do the same.

Rules

1. No Godmodding: Essentially, you are not invincible, you do not have infinite knowledge of everything that occurs, etc. The same applies to your forces should you choose to fight the Empire.
2. No number-spamming: As the name suggests, do not say that you have an unrealistic number of forces (ships, troops, etc.), especially early on.
3. No meta-gaming: Do not use information from the OOC to your advantage in the IC.
4. Limited forces (only applies to the start of the thread): Once you start out, you can have some clones or a starfighter with you, but I put the limit at ten clone troopers or one starfighter. You can acquire a capital ship or an army later.
5. No one can RP as a known character from Star Wars (Obi-wan, Darth Vader, the Emperor, etc.) except for the OP. If you wish for one of those characters to make an appearance in your post, then telegram me and I will be more than willing to do so.
6. The Empire is strictly under the OP's control. Once again, should you wish for the Empire to make an appearance in your post, telegram me and I will do it for you.
7. Limited number of characters: You can create more than one character, but I put the limit at three.

Bio: Jedi Master Kirax Kitomo was born on Glee Anselm in the city of Pieralos. He was born in 52 BBY and was very quickly found by the Jedi order. He had some very high force potential, and was easily verified as force sensitive even as a baby. He was raised in the Order as a youngling living in the temple. At age 16, he was taken as the Padawan of Kit Fisto. He traveled far and wide, learning much of the Force and it's most vital parts. He grew into a very powerful Jedi warrior by the age of 20 and became a Jedi Knight. He trained 2 Padawans by the age of 28, and was made a Jedi Master. His promotion to Jedi Master was followed a year later by an offer to join the Jedi Council, but he declined. He participated in several major Clone Wars battles? including both battles of Geonosis and about 11 others. By age 32 he had trained his third Padawan, and was offered once again to join the Council. He declined again, and was deployed to several planets to negotiate peace settlements and assure allegiance to the Republic. By the time he turned 33 in 19 BBY, he had been offered a third time to join the Council and declined much to the disatisfaction of his former Master.
Shortly after turning down the Council, he was sent to Mon Calamari to negotiate a new peace deal between the two once again agitated species. This was when Order 66 occured, and he immediately felt the death of Jedi around the Galaxy. He now remains on Mon Calamari and has continued to wait for an idea.
Where they were during order 66: Mon Calamari. He was there with 3 Republic Guards to negotiate another deal between the Quarren and the Mon Cala. On the Surface was his Jedi Consular Class Cruiser which housed one Jedi Star Fighters.
Addition Information: Kirax was offered a position on the Jedi Council three times but declined all three times.

Bio: Born on Cosia in early 200 BBY, on Cosian, master Tribili had a modest childhood on Cosia. He didn't do much, but he enjoyed crafting things out of wood, and often made small life-size statues out of those things. Eventually he was discovered by the Jedi Order and once they realized he was force sensitive they took him to Corucsant to be trained. Trained by a volley of masters, one of them being Master Yoda, Ferlin rose through the ranks of the order fairly quickly. As he grew older he became physically inept to use the tactics he used to use, he requested that the Council give him a sabercane, which they did, and the blade of the saber happened to be white. Once he rose to the rank of Master mister Tribili focused most of his time on studying with the Jedi temple librarian on Corucsant. However, when the Clone wars broke out Tribili was one of many Jedi that went to Geonosis with a jedi strike force, and one of few that survived. He commanded his own battallion in the Clone wars and normally fought in the Outer Rim territories against small ragtag fleets of Seperatist ships. However, during the final push of the clone wars Tribili requested to stay at Corucacsant with the archives. That is when Order 66 happened, and that is when he made a quick escape outside a back entrance of the temple and sped off to his homeworld of Cosia on his Jedi Starfighter, where he now remains attempting to contact the remaining Jedi.

Bio: Kulzur was born into the nightsister's clan around 200 BBY. Kulzar was a regular in many tribes in dathomir, most often she'd travel around abducting force sensatives and bringing them back to the clan for their use. When Mother Talzin and the nightsisters were defeated by General Greivious, she used her skill to rebuild it and now has a small force behind her. When the great jedi Purge ended and the Imperials invaded Dathomir, she decided that was the last straw. She and her nightsisters have been plotting to free Dathomir and even the galaxy from the empire since then.

Addition Information: (If needed): She wields a lightsaber and has some dark side powers, but perfers to stay with Nightsister magic. She is a master in Allyan magic and has deep efficiently and understanding of the force, some of her powers include green lightning, green protection bubbles, ancient incantations, even voodoo powers under the correct circumstances.

Name: Krass Udelles

Bio: Born into the ruling family on Taris in 52 BBY, Krass was quickly taken away by his father to prevent persecution of his parents by the royal family illegitimacy (as his father was an adviser to the King, while his mother was the princess). Krass's father brought him to an orphanage on the planet, where he would remain until he was discovered by Master Aldus Jeth four years later. Upon entering the Order, Krass became a part of an elite branch of Jedi known as the Sentinels, who guard over the Order and the Republic by rooting out evil and corruption wherever they may lurk. For years, Krass and his master performed several missions that required them to deal with the Underworld, usually to uncover information regarding corrupt officials in planetary governments or even the Galactic Senate. However, once Master Jeth passed away due to natural causes eight years prior to the Clone Wars, Krass was left alone to accomplish such missions. Over those years, Krass usually kept to himself, delving heavily into his work, meditation, and information from the Jedi Archives. After the first year of the Clone Wars- which resulted in numerous Jedi deaths- Krass was pulled from his assignments and placed on the front line by order of the Jedi Council, an action that frustrated him. For the remaining two years, Krass led a detachment of the 327th Star Corps and fought in numerous engagements across the Outer Rim. Following the capture of Eos by his forces, Krass discovered evidence of a Separatist shipyard being constructed near the planet Zhar. Krass then prepared a small scout force to investigate into this lead. At the time Order 66 was given out, his fleet was in hyperspace, thus it could not receive any messages. However, Krass still felt the deaths of the Jedi across the galaxy and was unsure as to what was causing it.
Where they were during order 66: Aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Vigilance en-route to Zhar.
Addition Information:

• While an avid duelist and fully capable of wielding the Force like other Jedi, Krass tends to use more subtle methods on solving a problem, such as stealth, negotiation or machinery.
• Krass wields a single yellow-bladed lightsaber, though he also carries his master's lightsaber, but hardly uses the two at once.

Hey Exucular, good to see you! I am very excited for this RP. I am in two other star wars RP's also with a lot of players, so I expect this to do decent. We will at least have 4. Myself, Exucular, New Emphillon, and Draica. Maybe Decius also if he decides to app.

I'm bringing back both Kite and Arklight, only with a twist, this time round, Order 66 and all the death's of Jedi through the Force will cause him to slightly fall from the Light and enter the doorway of the Dark to fight the Dark of the Empire. Like a halfway Dark Jedi.

Bio: Born on Kuat to a very wealthy and influential family, Arklight was shown to be extremely Force-sensitive from a very young age, though his father desired for him to take over eventually as one of the Chief Executives at Kuat Drive Yards, the planets and to some extent one of the galaxy's most renowned shipyards. However, his mother wanted him to have a greater destiny than just a corporate stooge, so she smuggled him off planet to Coruscant and took him to the Jedi Temple, accepting that she would never see him again, but knowing it was for the best. The Jedi raised Byron like any other being gifted in the Force who came to them, and he grew from Youngling, to Padawan, before becoming a Jedi Knight two years before the Trade Federation blockaded Naboo. Three years before the start of the Clone Wars, Byron became a Jedi Master and took on Padawan Kite Tenjo to be his student, hoping that he would be able to quell the boys seemingly dark past which hung over him like a shadow. When the Jedi Task Force was sent to Geonosis to rescue the Jedi Master Kenobi and Padawan Skywalker along with Senator Amidala, Byron did not go with them to the Arena, however both he and his Padawan did accompany the newly christened Grand Army of the Republic into the First Battle of Geonosis and the start of the Clone Wars. Byron and his Padawan went on to fight in a number of battles in the Clone Wars including Thule, Jabim, Christophsis, and just prior to the Second Battle of Geonosis, Kite became a Jedi Knight and Byron was given permanent command of the 861st Legion while Kite was given command of the 78th Star Corps. Byron and Kite along with their respective commands participated in the Geonosis invasion, but after the battle the two grew distant and Byron no longer heard from his old Padawan. Byron and the 861st were stationed at Coruscant a mere week before Order 66 was issued, when they were ordered to investigate Separatist activity at Rhen Var. They found a Separatist construction site over the planet where it appeared that they were trying to construct a second Malevolence warship. The two forces engaged and the experimental Separatist Ion Cannon was activated and used against Byron and his troops, causing much of their equipment to go down yet as it was only in the experimental phase, the weapon did not fully incapacitate the Republich fleet and they were able to destroy the construction site. Unaware to Byron and the Clones of the 861st, when the weapon had hit the troops, it had fried the chips implanted in their brains to direct them to carry out Order 66. Or at least it fried a portion of Clones's chips. They arrived back at Coruscant mere hours after Order 66 was initiated by Palpatine. Oddly enough, Commander 'Striker', the Clone Commander in charge of the 861st , was among the Clones to get his chip fried. So it is a tricky situation .....

Bio: Born to a lower class family in the sub-sectors of Taris, the very areas that were decimated by Darth Malak thousands of years prior and left ignored by both the Republic and the old Sith Empire. Kite was shown to be Force-sensitive from birth, but his parents did not wish for the Jedi to take their son, even if he would be safer with them than to remain in the lower levels of Taris where gangs like the Black Sun and Pyke Syndicate ruled and the Republic took no notice. For the first five years of his life, Kite was told to resent the Republic and the corruption that ran amok within it, yet when he was five years old, his family was killed in a cross-fire between the Black Sun and a Jedi Strike Team sent to root out several of the gangs leaders. Kite was picked up by the Jedi who took in the young Force-sensitive boy, even as he still wept for his dead family and the image of their home being destroyed was burned into his mind. As he grew and trained, he was shuffled from Master to Master because of his somewhat violent ideas as to how peace is best maintained, until he became Master Arklight's Padawan and it seemed to stick. Right up to Kite becoming a Jedi Knight and being given command of the 78th Star Corps, and after the Second Battle of Geonosis, Kite and his forces were moved to the Outer Rim Campaign where they served for much of the war. When word came of the Separatist attack on Coruscant the 78th was ordered back to the Capital to assist in the defense but by the time they arrived, Grevious was already attempting to escape with the Chancellor and the 78th covered the entrance of Skywalker and Kenobi's forces with an all-out assault which claimed the lives of many of the 78th but managed to prevent the Separatist fleet from leaving until Skywalker and Kenobi arrived. After the battle, the 78th was deployed to the Tatooine System on a patrol to observe Separatist activity in the system, where they remained right up until the initiation of Order 66, though a solar storm delayed the 78th receiving the command by several hours.

Bio: Aryca was born on the planet Taris and was selected to become a Jedi during infancy. She was brought to the Jedi temple on Couruscant where she underwent her training. She advanced quickly and was taken on as the padawan of a Jedi Master at the age of seven. She crafted her blue saber at the age of ten and had already proven herself a skilled saber combatant by age twelve. At age thirteen she underwent extensive starship training with her master in the wake of the worsening Separatist Crisis. When war broke out in 22 BBY, she was not called up on immediately. Instead, she was kept in a reserve squadron where she ended up on the receiving end of a Separatist raid. Downing a half dozen fighters and crippling the Banking Clan Frigate earned her more respect and she was sent to rejoin her master on the planet Felucia. For a year they spent every day hunting for droids and their bases in the thick jungle. Every day she lost dozens of clones to the jungle and enemy actions.

In 21 BBY, she finally was transferred off of Felucia with her master bound for another war zone. Mygeeto. Again, the Republic was bogged down in close quarters combat with Droid armies, this time on a more civilized world. The fighting was no less fierce and here Aryca proved her prowess once again when she led a battalion of Clones in capturing a city in a single evening. By the year 20 BBY, Aryca had completed her Jedi Knight Trials and was granted her own Cruiser and army and ordered to defend a sector of the outer rim. However, after a year and a half at this, they were recalled to Coruscant. Within days of their arrival there, the CIS attacked the Republic's Capital. The battle was fierce and there was barely any time to rest. Commanding her Cruiser from a starfighter, Aryca and fighters destroyed several Confederate Cruisers and even downed a battleship.

At the end of the battle, all the credit went to Kenobi and Skywalker as usual and Aryca was left with little but a thank you. With the capital now safe, the Republic went back on the offensive. Being sent to Cato Neimoidia, she obeyed and after repairs and rearming her troops she and her cruiser launched to find the battle already started. As they were coming close to victory her soldiers turned on her. Like Master Plo, she was in her starfighter at the time, however, she was able to sense the sudden shift in her soldier's feelings as they were ordered to shoot her down.

Bio: Tann was born on the planet of Alderaan but soon found himself as an orphan on the streets after his parents were killed in a brutal gang attack. He was taken in by the Jedi Order after he demonstrated force abilities in the town square. He underwent many Jedi training exercise programs where he learned to control his force abilities becoming a skillful force user especially in the mind. At the age of ten he built his first lightsaber, a green one. Many of the instructors were impressed by his speed and knowledge of how to craft a lightsaber.

Eventually Ki Adi Mundi took him in as a padawan to further develop his training and Jedi capabilities. He learned alongside Ki Adi Mundi and developed many of his techniques, he was like a father to him. When war broke out in 22 BBY Tann was 33, he had completed most of his training and was a fully fledged Jedi Knight but he preferred to be with his teacher and close friend Ki Adi Mundi on missions. During the war Tann saw his fair share of fighting. He mainly opted for supply missions where he would help in the outer rim sieges.

Then with the Republic counter attack, he was sent to Mygeeto with Ki Adi Mundi to destroy the droid works factory and acquire a power cell, although that was Ki Adi Mundi's task he liked to think that it was his as well. The battle of Mygeeto was going tremendously well until he noticed the clone acting out of place. He watched as his master and close friend was shot and killed by the soldiers he had faith in. The clones around he himself, ready to shoot.

I'm bringing back both Kite and Arklight, only with a twist, this time round, Order 66 and all the death's of Jedi through the Force will cause him to slightly fall from the Light and enter the doorway of the Dark to fight the Dark of the Empire. Like a halfway Dark Jedi.

Bio: Born on Kuat to a very wealthy and influential family, Arklight was shown to be extremely Force-sensitive from a very young age, though his father desired for him to take over eventually as one of the Chief Executives at Kuat Drive Yards, the planets and to some extent one of the galaxy's most renowned shipyards. However, his mother wanted him to have a greater destiny than just a corporate stooge, so she smuggled him off planet to Coruscant and took him to the Jedi Temple, accepting that she would never see him again, but knowing it was for the best. The Jedi raised Byron like any other being gifted in the Force who came to them, and he grew from Youngling, to Padawan, before becoming a Jedi Knight two years before the Trade Federation blockaded Naboo. Three years before the start of the Clone Wars, Byron became a Jedi Master and took on Padawan Kite Tenjo to be his student, hoping that he would be able to quell the boys seemingly dark past which hung over him like a shadow. When the Jedi Task Force was sent to Geonosis to rescue the Jedi Master Kenobi and Padawan Skywalker along with Senator Amidala, Byron did not go with them to the Arena, however both he and his Padawan did accompany the newly christened Grand Army of the Republic into the First Battle of Geonosis and the start of the Clone Wars. Byron and his Padawan went on to fight in a number of battles in the Clone Wars including Thule, Jabim, Christophsis, and just prior to the Second Battle of Geonosis, Kite became a Jedi Knight and Byron was given permanent command of the 861st Legion while Kite was given command of the 78th Star Corps. Byron and Kite along with their respective commands participated in the Geonosis invasion, but after the battle the two grew distant and Byron no longer heard from his old Padawan. Byron and the 861st were stationed at Coruscant a mere week before Order 66 was issued, when they were ordered to investigate Separatist activity at Rhen Var. They found a Separatist construction site over the planet where it appeared that they were trying to construct a second Malevolence warship. The two forces engaged and the experimental Separatist Ion Cannon was activated and used against Byron and his troops, causing much of their equipment to go down yet as it was only in the experimental phase, the weapon did not fully incapacitate the Republich fleet and they were able to destroy the construction site. Unaware to Byron and the Clones of the 861st, when the weapon had hit the troops, it had fried the chips implanted in their brains to direct them to carry out Order 66. Or at least it fried a portion of Clones's chips. They arrived back at Coruscant mere hours after Order 66 was initiated by Palpatine. Oddly enough, Commander 'Striker', the Clone Commander in charge of the 861st , was among the Clones to get his chip fried. So it is a tricky situation .....

I was mainly wondering about the number of clones who could've stayed on Arklight's side being okay. I figured that 23 Clones out of the 16,784 in the 861st would've been alright but wanted to make sure.

Bio: Aryca was born on the planet Taris and was selected to become a Jedi during infancy. She was brought to the Jedi temple on Couruscant where she underwent her training. She advanced quickly and was taken on as the padawan of a Jedi Master at the age of seven. She crafted her blue saber at the age of ten and had already proven herself a skilled saber combatant by age twelve. At age thirteen she underwent extensive starship training with her master in the wake of the worsening Separatist Crisis. When war broke out in 22 BBY, she was not called up on immediately. Instead, she was kept in a reserve squadron where she ended up on the receiving end of a Separatist raid. Downing a half dozen fighters and crippling the Banking Clan Frigate earned her more respect and she was sent to rejoin her master on the planet Felucia. For a year they spent every day hunting for droids and their bases in the thick jungle. Every day she lost dozens of clones to the jungle and enemy actions.

In 21 BBY, she finally was transferred off of Felucia with her master bound for another war zone. Mygeeto. Again, the Republic was bogged down in close quarters combat with Droid armies, this time on a more civilized world. The fighting was no less fierce and here Aryca proved her prowess once again when she led a battalion of Clones in capturing a city in a single evening. By the year 20 BBY, Aryca had completed her Jedi Knight Trials and was granted her own Cruiser and army and ordered to defend a sector of the outer rim. However, after a year and a half at this, they were recalled to Coruscant. Within days of their arrival there, the CIS attacked the Republic's Capital. The battle was fierce and there was barely any time to rest. Commanding her Cruiser from a starfighter, Aryca and fighters destroyed several Confederate Cruisers and even downed a battleship.

At the end of the battle, all the credit went to Kenobi and Skywalker as usual and Aryca was left with little but a thank you. With the capital now safe, the Republic went back on the offensive. Being sent to Cato Neimoidia, she obeyed and after repairs and rearming her troops she and her cruiser launched to find the battle already started. As they were coming close to victory her soldiers turned on her. Like Master Plo, she was in her starfighter at the time, however, she was able to sense the sudden shift in her soldier's feelings as they were ordered to shoot her down.

Bio: Tann was born on the planet of Alderaan but soon found himself as an orphan on the streets after his parents were killed in a brutal gang attack. He was taken in by the Jedi Order after he demonstrated force abilities in the town square. He underwent many Jedi training exercise programs where he learned to control his force abilities becoming a skillful force user especially in the mind. At the age of ten he built his first lightsaber, a green one. Many of the instructors were impressed by his speed and knowledge of how to craft a lightsaber.

Eventually Ki Adi Mundi took him in as a padawan to further develop his training and Jedi capabilities. He learned alongside Ki Adi Mundi and developed many of his techniques, he was like a father to him. When war broke out in 22 BBY Tann was 33, he had completed most of his training and was a fully fledged Jedi Knight but he preferred to be with his teacher and close friend Ki Adi Mundi on missions. During the war Tann saw his fair share of fighting. He mainly opted for supply missions where he would help in the outer rim sieges.

Then with the Republic counter attack, he was sent to Mygeeto with Ki Adi Mundi to destroy the droid works factory and acquire a power cell, although that was Ki Adi Mundi's task he liked to think that it was his as well.
