Hello and welcome to the signup and OOC thread of The Palm Beach General Assembly!
The Palm Beach General Assembly was founded in July of 2015. The Palm Beach General Assembly presents an opportunity for nations in Palm Beach to come together and vote in a shared regional parliament. MPs from PBGA member nations can propose bills and laws of their choice. These will become law depending on the votes said laws receive from other MPs. Bills that are passed will apply to every Palm Beach General Assembly member. These laws do not apply to all WA or Palm Beach regional members.
The PBGA has a Speaker of The Parliament, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Shadow Prime Minister, Shadow Deputy Prime Minister, Shadow Cabinent and more. The PBGA has several political parties/blocs. These voting blocs are coalitions of various parties of similar/compatible political beliefs from the various nations of The Palm Beach General Assembly. Each PBGA member-state is required to have at least 1 seat in a political bloc different from the main political bloc of your nation..
Each PBGA member state will have a number of MPs and votes that are equal to one-millionth of their population. Each nation can have a maximum of 100 votes, or a minimum of 3 votes. Example below:
If a PBGA member-state votes on a bill or law; not all of it's MEPs are expected to all vote yay or nay. For example, 75 could vote yay and 25 could vote nay, This makes The Palm Beach General Assembly more realistic.
The PBGA is open to any nation in the Palm Beach region; however exceptions may be for nations that wish to join the PBGA that are outside of our region.

Below is a list of the political parties/voting blocs of the PBGA. Each voting bloc has it's own political agenda and ideology. One of these blocs will have a majority in The Palm Beach General Assembly, and it is up to you to pick what bloc should be the majority.

(The minimum amount of MPs for one nation is 3. If your nation has 1,000,000 people then you get 3 MPs/votes. If your nation has 3,000,000-5,000,000 people, then you get 5 MPs/votes. From 6,000,000 to 250,000,000 you get _nation's population- ÷ _one million_ = _the number of MPs/votes thst you receive_. For instance, a nation with 100,000,000 people would get 100 MPs/votes. The maximum number of MPs/votes a nation can have is 250. This means that a nation with 250,000,000 people and a nation with 1,000,000,000 people would get the same number of MPs/votes, 250.
Each nation is required to have MPs [b]from at least 2 political parties[/b] of your choice, though you can have MPs from more parties than this. You can also have Independent MPs. For political parties that your MPs are not going to be members of, just leave the field asking how many seats for these party(s) blank.
